It raises questions when the response time of the media is so much that of the armed response unit... but hey, this is the age of twitter and Facebook - we here on the internet can have within a matter of hours a comprehensive overview of everything; including photos - if you know where to look, that is.

And If you look at the island, there are no elevated points from this angle.... it had to be a helicopter

But then again... he looks a little nonchalant for there to be a copter hovering above his head .... maybe a telephoto lens (likely)

Here,the Daily Mail have published a few photos of people in the water,they are stills from sky news,so they must have had a helicopter on the scene quickly-probably chartered from Oslo.

If there were 700 kids on the island and 80 dead,this equates to almost 1 in every 9 of those were killed.
There is talk on the news now of possibly more than one gunman involved in the island shootings.

here is report from Daily Mail,curiously when asked if they could name the suspect they are holding by the BBC only 30 minutes ago,the reporter was told-sorry we are not disclosing and names at this time.

Where exactly was the suspect arrested? The only word I had is that they got him when a SWAT team stormed his Oslo-area apartment. If this is true, how did he get off that island?

I thought he was shot on the island and arrested?

I may be wrong, so many conflicting reports at the moment.

This just gets more and more bizarre by the second. I don't believe any of the official story. For starters there were a heck of a lot more than 1 gunman in that island.

9 died at the Oslo explotion and over 80 dead at the outisland (Utøya) was confirmed by the police at pressconference 3:45 AM . There is also witnesses reporting that there was more shooters.
A different witness heard the sound from a far driving the road that goes paralell with this inland sea. She also heard more than one type of shooting sound at the same time. I'm crying and don't know how i ever gonna get to sleep

I just made a good argument for the unstable lone gunman. It's very feasible. I made some strong points. But the best debater I know- me- just made a good point after reading about Jonas Gahr Store's visit to the island. There is an unavoidable link between Jonas Store and the Middle East.

Here's some crazy stuff for you. I just found an online Norwegian English Language News site, The Foreigner, and they are a bit behind on their news. They haven't identified the gunman. They are still running the story where that Islamist group took responsibility. And here's the kicker, they have a story on Johas Store. It's called "Store "negotiating with terrorists"".

And he was talking about Palestine. I can't speak Norwegian, but in the following interview, he mentions the Palestine conflict. No doubt about it.

But that still isn't enough to make me convince myself to change my lone guman theory.

Here's where I must wonder about conspiracy. Jonas Store was a possible target of assassination in 2008 while he was in Afghanistan. Ban Ki-Moon said that the target of the attack on a hotel was Store. But the Taliban denied responsibility for the attack. The Taliban take responsibility when they attack girls going to school.

Actually, the Taliban did not deny the attack, they denied that Store was the target. Had to source that statement and get page translated to get the full story. So, off the mark there. Store was not the target of that attack. So, I squished my own connection avenue and now I am begining to think it was the lone gunman again.
