Great! Those people have balls, and they will make a difference, for the better or the worse. But at least
THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING

Anytime something gets done for the people it's done by citizens with Very big balls.

They obviously are willing to sacrifice their freedom for everybody else to use the internet at will.

What the hell are they going to accomplish with all this useless hacking lately? It should be more obvious now that Anonyous is not what it orginally intended to become..

How so ?

disinfo agent ^ ?

I agree with what anon wants to do.
'But bragging about geting some restricted documents especialy some that have been around for a while. Is laughable.
I'll get excited when they get some 'Top secret" docs or hell i'll settle for just 'secret'

FYI:Top secret>secret>confidential>restricted ateast that what i remember form the top of my head.
Also restricted is so low that they don't have to b e shredded when tossed. sorta sad there so happy about this.

Another bragging ego trip and their worshippers predictably go into a frenzy over nothing.

All they did was step into another unsecured server that was purposely set up to get stepped into.
I bet they got another insider tip from their regulate the internet handlers to go look there.
They are not releasing the information, not because it would be irresponsible, but because it would be embarassing to them that they got info not even good enough for the paper shredder.

Nuclear codes? Um, I don't think sensitive information like that would be on the internet.
That would be very careless and stupid of NATO. I don't support Anonymous at all. What would be nice I guess is if a company would hire people to test their security. But sensitive information should never be on a computer that can be accessed from the internet.

Luciddreamer85, I have never had trouble using my internet. They do not represent me and never will. They are paranoid with oversized irrational fears.

I do not understand what all of the people complaining about.

You want the "different" governments around the world to be transparent? Well, they certainly are not gonna do it themselves. Use your goddamn brain for a second and THINK.

Thought is your friend not your enemy.. the more you know the better.

All government's are different. We are not one world. If people want change, that is their responsibility in their own country. If you rely on others to do the work for you, you are a slave. It's no different than socialism.

You must not know what NATO stands for.

On the other hand.. yeah I agree I believe people of all nations need to get a little more "nationalistic" for lack of a better word at the moment and kick the asses of their government and have some pride in their common country folk.

I know what it is but that has nothing to do with what I said.
The U.S also created the U.N. I'm against it. I'm against globalization, the E.U, heck I'm against a bunch of stuff.

It all serves their dream of a new world order. At the same time, I don't hate them. There's no time for hate. If I hate, it'll just eat at me and change who I am.

And what exactly new do you know because of this?
Nothing, nobody learned anything.
Their actions are making it extremely easy for all those same govts. to restrict information and turn the world in the opposite direction of transparency.
Thought indeed

The only transparency here is the love affair of Anon and the MSM, with no attempt by the govt to hush it up. Even the FBI moves are prepared to have cameras rolling when the guys in yellow FBI stitched jackets make the first knock at someones door. It is well played out theatrics with everyone on the same page.

Any kind of publicity is good publicity.

If the governments further restrict information and or do more things to censor the internet it becomes more apparent to the dumb dumbs that think everything is still hunky dory in the world. Eventually people have to stop being keyboard, voting, law abiding protesters and actually annihilate their government. The more people that understand these simple facts the better.

Another common-sensical thing that might fly over people's heads: If a company and or government cannot properly defend their servers or keep all confidential info offline it is their fault.

Point being every waking second is a learning experience if you seek the knowledge out.

No, the majority of people are happy to see anon arrests and will happily vote for people who stump for tougher regulations because of what anon is doing.

Here's all that's happening when you take away the propaganda from all involved,

Anon gets their 15 minutes of fame and overinflated egos satisfied
Big Brother has an easier time passing its legislation
The MSM are provided another daily soap opera for their ratings
Naive sheep go to jail

Everyone wins and the fall guys can't rat out the players.

Another perfect setup by TPTB.

What makes everybody so sure that all they have is what they've told us they have? This is probably only misdirection...
Nobody in this game puts all their eggs in one basket; including the government.

I applaud Anonymous.

The chance of them leaking information which would be dangerous to soldiers on front lines etc is not real.
That soldiers are dying due to lack of equipment and faulty equipment and that we are lied to about the reasons for conflicts/action and this is hidden from the public is fact.
The truth should come out.

If the internet is taken down and people just accept it, that will be the saddest thing ever. It will show them that we are beaten, and they can do as they wish. If enough corruption and lies are revealed maybe they will realise we will not stand for it.

They serve us, we should not be serving them and allowing them to behave this way.

They take down the internet, we stay at home, refuse to work, they can't sack us all.
We need to reinforce our backbones, with the steel of collective righteous independence!!

wikileaks were a bit irresponsible with some of the stuff they released imo. I hope these hackers behave better and i hope they didn't get the nuclear codes -_-

What would they do with nuclear codes? They would need access to the closed systems or have physical access to the weapons to use the codes. Might be useful to foreign government but I would think self destruct codes would be more useful for foreign government, but they might have the same problems with access.

Just a question to all those who agree with Anon/Luzsec.

How would you like it if it was your medical records they hacked and posted, or your banking info, or even your private documents. While the idea they are putting forth is good, the actions to the ends are not.

It is irresponsible for us a society to condone illegal actions just because the idea behind them is righteous.

So we should not act on our righteous ideals?

No, we should just play by the rules laid out for us. By who? The very people who stand above us, profit from us, work us till we die. Good idea, NOT

There are no rules. It used to be "fight or die" before civilization, now it is "fight or be exploited until you die".

You want to cry about your medical records? I guarentee that your government and its corporate hacker shills will access your personal files LONG before righteous hackers ever would. In fact, I can guarentee that, if you're an American, that both the US government and a lot of top coporations (like bigpharm) already have lots of private information on you stored away on large databases. Corporations especially do this because they use demographics to make profits and they can't know demographic details without your personal information.

And in case you haven't noticed, Anonymous is going after such fascist government and corporate actions for YOUR benefit.

I'm personally getting very very bored with these guys, they keep saying they got some very good information, well if it implicates the PTB as being the scumbags we think they are, post the bloody proof.
We will never see anything in the news that is going to cause any great changes, in fact they just kill whistleblowers, if you have solid proof post it or just sit back down and shut up.

The voices of THOUSANDS of murdered people scream for vengeance against the governments that have killed them to keep the truth from coming out, it seems they are just a bunch of meme spouting morons intent on stroking their egos and increasing their e-peens, they treat it as a game and the release of something explosive will be the proof of the pudding, are they just more controllled opposition, more "Tools" of TPTB designed to remove the internet as a means of staying informed, or a group of hacktivists who really mean what they say.

They say you can't kill an idea, no you can't but you can't change the status quo by sitting on information that should be public domain either.
You are very slowly serving up our last hope in a problem reaction solution wet dream to the PTB.

How about mass mailing something really juicy to the world at large, every printer every fax machine spouting the facts.....make sure it's something that would make a recovery by the same control mechanisms impossible, this is the only way you will get the manpower required to move humanity on a step.

If you are in a position to make a difference, make it, otherwise, you shouldn't be there your just another idiot doing whats needed to maintain the status quo, just another layer to the secret.
You think we all like being in a control mechanism that treats us with malignant indifference at best?. A control mechanism that lost the right to maintain its superior attitude a long time ago, put it to bed if you can it's what we are all waiting for.

no it not. it is an integral part of the deomocratic system. Its called activism, look at your history. Without it many of the right you take for granted today would never have been granted..
