Why did America's Dairy Farming get shut down and powdered milk from 3rd World Countries start getting shipped into America?

Well you had General Electric who bolted 2 nuclear jet engines to the ground and kicked them ON in the midwest blasting radioactive fallout all over the midwest and New England...far worse than what you can imagine.

Then you had the hundreds of nukes set off in Nevada that put fallout over the midwest and New England.

You had DDT getting sprayed all over America for decades.

The US Forest Service had telephone poles sprayed with Chlordane to keep termites from eating them...Chlordane's worse than any substance you can imagine.

Manufacturing was polluting the air, water, and soil with Toxins and Dioxins as America was on the rush to make big bucks during it's Industrial Revolution.....

So that's why the USDA doesn't want you drinking fresh raw milk from a cow. They know what that cow has been eating.....bad bad grass thats polluted. The cow BioAccumulates toxins and puts it in the fats in the milk for you to drink.

And that's why they went to getting milk from 3rd world dirt holes, had the water boiled off so it's a powder for easy shipping....and bring it into America to turn it back into milk or dairy products for you to eat.

You know that General Electric slogan, "We bring good things to life"?........well not their 2 nuclear jet engines they were testing in the 1960's....the Baby Boomer Generation poisoned America. Whatever to make a buck....they're dying now so it's not their problem...They enjoyed one hell of a ride destroying America.

Well, if they are having effects in the concentrations detected in the study, you shouldn’t have any problem pointing to some peer reviewed epidemiological study to that effect.

You shouldn't? Hrmmm...

Here's one's findings:

What Do We Feed to Food-Production Animals? A Review of Animal Feed Ingredients and Their Potential Impacts on Human Health

Despite a range of potential human health impacts that could ensue, there are significant data gaps that prevent comprehensive assessments of human health risks associated with animal feed. Limited data are collected at the federal or state level concerning the amounts of specific ingredients used in animal feed, and there are insufficient surveillance systems to monitor etiologic agents “from farm to fork.”

Consumption of organic foods and risk of atopic disease during the first 2 years of life in the Netherlands

To date, we know of only one other study on the health
effects of consuming organic food products

Now isn't that ironic? Perhaps, even a conspiracy. Imagine... a world where only those "peer reviewed epidemiological studies" which benefit big business are funded.

I'm not interested in reading that article, thanks though! I will continue skipping it no matter how much you paste from it

Nope, veganism was WAAAAY off. If you want optimal health eat most of your food raw. Raw veggies, raw sprouts, raw fruits, raw nuts, raw milk, raw cheese, raw eggs and raw fish.

I avoid red meat because it feels like I ate a lead weight, but my kid claims to feel great on it. We have different blood types so that might explain it. There is some evidence of adaption to different foods in the different blood groups.

PS - The title of this thread/article is absurd for obvious reasons. They didn't test every cup of milk LOL.

I would encourage everyone to do his or her own research and don't be scared of trying raw grass-fed milk. Even if you think you are allergic. It might be the best thing you have ever done for your health. Learning to listen to your body is the best thing. If you feel great after you eat, don't worry. If it tastes good but makes you sick, well that's another thing.

So your argument is that the FDA wants us to be healthy? Sorry, you lost me there. If you read the FDA's Facebook posts, you will quickly get the message that they tell people the exact opposite of what they should do. Eat aspartame, cook the living hell out of all your foods, don't drink raw grass-fed milk, this drug won't kill you, we swear, etc. etc. They are not concerned with telling the truth or keeping people healthy.

And I would think pasteurization will do nothing for radiation levels.

I admit our diets are probably pretty similar, with the exception of dairy products. I like my fruits, vegetables, and nuts to be raw. I prefer my meat cooked, but only eat grass fed beef, game meat, poultry, and fish of course. I avoid grains, and only eat brown rice and oats when I do eat grains, which is a small percent of my diet. But, the fact that you drink milk from healthier animals does set you apart from the majority on the SAD diet, so if you don't suffer asthma or allergies, you're probably not sensitive to the casein. There's a really good coconut kefir product, great way to get cultured, living food while staying on an evolutionary style diet.

this is no wonder.

i remember a couple years ago on tv was a program about a lady in the Montreal area that spent years collecting the original breeds of cows brought over in colonial times.

it was found that their milk was much higher in protein and didn't have the serious colesterol problem of modern breeds of cows..

also on tv news, farmers were busted with large operations making their own home made hormones and drugs.

so the drugs fed cows are not always of pharmaceutical level.
these news program were on Sherbrooke, Quebec, ch 9 a couple years ago.

i no longer buy milk, but if at someone's house and that is what they put in the coffee, a small amout shouldn't kill you.

and look in the ice cream section of your supermarket, they now have great tasting non dairy frozen deserts with real chocolate, yum.

For the record, drinking organic pasteurized milk always made me sick in multiple ways that I'm sure nobody would want to hear about (gross). But I liked the taste so I drank it sometimes. Then I switched to organic soy and I didn't feel especially bad after drinking it but that's when my health took a huge dive. Thank the heavens I figured that out. Grass-fed raw milk makes me feel wonderful immediately after drinking it.

You gotta watch out for soy, though. Even organic soy. I feel that most people should avoid soy, except maybe those of Asian ancestry. It can cause SERIOUS thyroid problems for many people.

Yeah, I too enjoyed milk quite a bit. Now that I think about it, it's pretty gross and weird, but that's how well social conditioning works. I drink the Silk almond and coconut milks. Those are really tasty alternatives. You're right about soy, it's terrible for us in alot of ways, especially males. Most beans are pretty bad for us, which as a raw dieter you probably know. You can't eat most legumes (beans) raw, and cooking doesn't leach out all the toxins, so if you eat beans regularly you may think you're being healthy, but you can be accumulating some pretty nasty stuff in your body. If you can't eat it raw, you shouldn't eat it regularly.

I am so glad that I stopped drinking that stuff back in 2000. I switched to almond milk, or on occasion, rice milk.

Just saw an article on yahoo called The Cancer you can treat & beat. With a link saying How milk can help. Ever time I tried to select it or any of the links it would never come up. So which is it? I tend to agree with Asian's that cow's milk is for cow's. I was told they laugh at us Americans for drinking so much milk. Well not me. At 45 it can cause me to get IBS as well as my 22 year old daughter. I love my cheese and ice cream...but in very small amounts and not very often.

You are cracking me up with that conditioning stuff. People don't have to be "socially conditioned" to have taste buds. That's absurd. Even babies will spit things out they don't like. If you enjoyed milk you owe it to yourself to try raw grass-fed milk. It is about a million times more delicious. Though I still haven't quite gotten over the moment after I drink it when I cringe waiting to feel ill because I always did when drinking the other crap. You don't have to worry any more about it being "unnatural" because I notice you eat modern cows instead of wooly mammoths lolz

I generally don't eat beans unless they are sprouted. Not the same food at all once they are sprouted. Nuts are better sprouted as well. And even some grains are wonderful sprouted.

Two words: Try raw! Pasteurized milk is poison. Don't believe it if they tell you pasteurized milk will cure cancer. It's hard to believe now, but it was once an accepted medical treatment for many illnesses to be put on a grass-fed raw milk fast in certain hospitals in America. That treatment mysteriously stopped working after cows became routinely corn-fed and the milk pasteurized.

It's not natural for adult mammals to consume milk. Point blank. There is no debate, and it is even more unnatural to drink the milk of another species of animal. Do you think your mother would be able to continue to produce milk, so you could suckle her teat for the rest of your life? Nope. And, as for social conditioning, yes, it's real. Caucasions in western civilization are the only humans that drink milk, the majority of humans on earth, TODAY, do not, and cannot consume milk. You've been conditioned, no matter how much it cracks you up. I honestly am done debating you about it. You grew up on a farm, with your mammy and pappy and they taught you milk is wholesome and healthy. I know, there is no way in hell you're gonna go against the advice of your mammy and pappy, so there's no use even going any further. I will NOT ever try raw milk of any species, because I'm an adult. My body needs the food it's meant to have.
