That doesn't seem to disprove it though, if you listen to the Conet album the audio used on the 8311 site is so similar (I'm 90% certain it IS from that album), that if it isn't they must at least be aware of its existence and have emulated for reasons unknown. Seriously, the Conet stuff is available for free download, give it a listen the similarities with the 8311 audio is mahoosive.

I was able to track some of the locations on the 'Sightings' page. The locations I could find were:


Vienna, Austria.
Southern Florida.
Southern Florida.
Houston, Texas.
Salida, Colorado.
Buenos Aires.


I think the other ads near the 8-3-11 were planted there intentionally, as there are numerous references to Biblical verses if you look hard enough on the surrounding posters.

I'm not sure if any of this is of any help and with 70 pages can't be certain it hasn't already been said, but... I did a search on events that occurred on August 3rd in history. According to Wikipedia, it is the date Columbus set sail in 1492, and also, it is the date that Hitler became Fuhrer in 1934. Probably nothing, but I thought it was interesting given the Dylan lyrics and the Columbus thing.

The feminst connection has been well talked about already. In fact, I am not seeing anything new accept for the Casey Anthony connection.

In looking into this more, I came across something else interesting. From one of the posts we determined that Houston Texas was where the organization was registered at.

TexasEquuSearch was involved in the search. They are based in Dickenson Texas, a suburb of Houston. Not only did they search for Caylee, they also searched for Natalee Holloway and investigated the deaths of people in Acres Homes, Houston.

Acres Homes is a section of Houston that is very poor, described much like a ghetto. In 2007, there was an outbreak of syphilis, which the Houston Public Health authority had to use mobile units to check people.

Syphilis, if untreated, can cause open sores on the body, including the face. And it causes mental illness if untreated.

I think they could also be saying the key of knowledge is to use a condom. I think there are many references to adultery, so perhaps someone contracted syphilis through adultery. Who knows at this point. I would however be nervous if I thought they were going to start targeting residents of Acres Homes.

yes they did use some conet music, thats where the relation ends IMHO
dethduck did all the research on that and is very adamant its not related - I have no problem if you want to double check his info though

Its been widely speculated that this is some marketing compaign regarding The Conet Project/Wilco/and those 3 letters I keep forgetting (YHF?)

We are reasonably confident that its unrelated.

I usually don't post on here, I'm more of a lurker. I've been following this thread for 2 days, and the more I read, I get a feeling that this 8-3-11 is just another hoax/scam/fake thing on the internet. They are either seeking attention by throwing out strange unsolvable clues, or it really is some form of viral marketing, and they keep lying about it by saying it isn't. I think once 8-3-11 rolls around, this group will reveal nothing extraordinary, and you will have all wasted your time and energy seeking answers that won't come. When I first started digging in this thread, I was intrigued. Now this whole thing makes me say "whatever nothing is going to happen."

Also all the clues everyone is getting, morse code, weird drawings, etc. I go to the webpages linked and cannot for the life of me find any of these things people are posting in this thread. Where is this stuff coming from?

Well I don't know but we do hear what appears to be Ham radio in the original mp3's and as I listen to many different frequencies on Hamsphere 2.0, I hear very similar trasmissions.

Are you also an operator or do you just listen via the internet? I am asking you what specifically about the mp3's makes you think they are "ham radio" transmissions? Some sort of an example or explanation would be appreciated.

I think this entire thing is showing us more about ourselves than we all realize. Just look at how we're all making different connections as a true community. They say all the answers are already there...I believe they're right and no I don't think they're lying.

Hey dont know if this has been posted yet but in the "sightings" page, on the 20th one down, the flyer underneath the Belle flyer says "hope (then a word i cannot see) is strgength. Sentimental hope is slavery. Mechanical hope is a disease." in spanish. Dont know if it has anything to do with this at all, but it caught my eye. Also i have a strong feeling one or two of these photos are from Argentina.

To be honest with you I am shocked with how much you have pulled together to figure this one out. It makes me happy to see how well we can work together, it is so much better. I am using to seeing a thread full of arguments and trolls.
