8-3-11 Creepy Website! Can We Figure Out The Code?!?!

If they are being misleading on the site then that plays in perfectly with the movie. All the movie does is try to be a new Blair Witch in the way it's shot. It also misleads and lies to you the whole time then by the time it ends ( and the ending is the mother of all cons) you kinda just don't care anynmore. I dl'ed it from a file sharing site and watched it today.

I'm pretty convinced it's for the movie. We will have to see though. For the time being I'm going to bed (again). Have a go at those pics though. I just need to start again fresh tomorrow (later today...)

Yeah and they say they are not going to hurt the girl, if the girl is dead they couldnt. The pic of Bell looks like a boy and girl mashed, possible two girls. It def has two parts in the hair. The movie focuses on 3 kids, one ghost girl and two kids that get killed. I think this is it. I was skeptical because I didn't see that release date I posted for the 17th. I thought it already came out. Coming out with limited showings 14 days after 8-3-11... I'm about 90% on this now.

Only other problem is that the formspring said that it wasn't about this movie at some point. They could have been using some slippery wording. I'll have to look through it again argh!

OK, in the text that was english mixed with spanish the person is alternatively listed as she, he, and it. Then a picture which is a mix of a boy and a girl. Also, when the rape/prostitution is mentioned it is Oral. It also said that He/she/it cut off the boy that was her/his victim's genitalia. Angry, abused transexual? Does any of that tie into the film?

Yeah I noticed that he/she switching. I thought it was just translation error or something. I dunno if it ties in with the film. I think a poster above us watched the film already, perhaps he will jump in.

I think there is definitely something to the theory that 3-8-11 has to do with the passages in 1 Samuel 3:8.

That is my problem with the movie theory. Unless they are flat out lying, they specifically said it was not to promote a movie or any other thing you can purchase. If they are lying, then there is no point to any of this.

True, and it's not as if they ha to answer those questions. Could have just ignored them and avoided the lie. Still look at the Atrocious Website. Those awful drawings seem vaguely familiar.

this program is an invention of marketing? We've said this before and we're sure we'll have to say it again.

We are not marketing a movie, book, game, magazine, multimedia experience, roller coaster, grocery store, or anything else you could possibly spend your money on. We are not in this for profit of any kind.

If we take that 8.3.11 is saying that they have answered all questions truthfully then it's not a viral or campaign for any movie. They were asked and the answer was no.

i have got to say that, as a long-time lurker, this is one of the most interesting threads i've seen here. i will be terribly disappointed if this just amounts to a marketing ploy. no matter what, i truly admire the tenacity and imagination of the ats community, and our fact-finding abilities can always use honing, right?

at any rate, i love bob dylan and i haven't seen any mention of him in relation to 8.3.11 on this thread and he seems to be referenced (at least his music is) in their veiled messaging:
