i had some more thoughts:

the top down image - compass thing, top right - it might mean that the main image is repeated in every direction, ie lots of pots of stones set up so that any angle can pick up a stone, it'll pull the mannequin. so one person in the middle speaking in lots of directions, or maybe being pulled by many people in lots of directions - (NATO? UN?)

...by " small group of volunteer firemen, ex-military, and like-minded concerned citizens"?
(let's say it's joke).

Been doing some more research and what i find interesting is the names of the images on the website:

Rasalhauge - Brightest star in Constellation Ophiuchus
Altair - Brightest star in the constellation Aquila
Alphekka - star in the constellation Corona Borealis

They have said that the images are "key" so there has to be something in there.

I LIKE the way you think!

Take the literal star maps as a metaphor for an event having to due with a king / leader....

Hence all the other things 8-3-11 said make some more sense.

I am listening right now to Enigma play Silence Must Be Heard. Enigma is a European band that is produced by Gema, a German recording company. I think the song is saying what we all know the 8:3:11 people are thinking...Silence Must Be Heard.

They are being evasive for a reason. That reason may be something we will never know as they may be playing a game with us. We may find out though if these people are willing to let us in on their purpose.

They have not asked for money, so it does not constitute fraud in that manner. They can only be accused so far of perpetuating conspiracies. It does make me nervous when I think they could be involved in some group that is either religious in nature or political to the point of wanting to get back at another group of people.

They have not condoned violence as of yet, but if they create drawings of bombs then that should make us take pause because no other violent group has allowed their intentions to broadcast openly.

The thing we must remember is this, when any group of people uses symbols to make a point, it means they give credence to the symbols. For them, Bella is a symbol and the picture is an expression of that symbol.

I would prefer for us to continue the search because it would be a shame for them to eventually commit a crime that we did not try to expose and stop. But look at it this way also, even if these people are harmless, the next group to do this might not be so harmless.Any military person will tell you that you must know your enemy. Knowledge is power.

Didn't see this anywhere else in the thread, but here's an image I found with possible meanings of he "arrow" and the "sun" images in a few of the answers.

Arrow = "The Way"
Sun = "The Truth"

Could also just be what the Asian characters mean, and have absolutely nothing to do with the image meanings.

Apparently the man who made the call, called back a year later to admit it was a hoax. Not sure if it's true.

I am not into religion, but..messiah?
Crowning, or resignation then?

After going over and over everything, I seriously, honestly and totally think the whole thing is this (and, to their surprise, got WAY out of hand):
en.wikipedia.org...

Ok, Wiki isn't exactly the best link to use, but it gives the point simply:

"A thought experiment or Gedankenexperiment (from German) is a mental exercise which would consider a hypothesis, theory,[1] or principle. Given the structure of the experiment, it may or may not be possible to actually perform it, and, in the case that it is possible for it to be performed, there need be no intention of any kind to actually perform the experiment in question. The common goal of a thought experiment is to explore the potential consequences of the principle in question."

Although, we still wouldn't know what the principle in question is, and I doubt we ever would.

"In its broadest usage, thought experimentation is the process of employing imaginary situations to help us understand the way things really are "

"Practical applications facilitate decision making, choice and strategy selection; solve problems, and generate ideas; In philosophy, a thought experiment typically presents an imagined scenario with the intention of eliciting an intuitive or reasoned response about the way things are in the thought experiment. (Philosophers might also supplement their thought experiments with theoretical reasoning designed to support the desired intuitive response.) The scenario will typically be designed to target a particular philosophical notion, such as morality, or the nature of the mind or linguistic reference. The response to the imagined scenario is supposed to tell us about the nature of that notion in any scenario, real or imagined."

I wonder if they've been trying to disprove some sort of theory? If that were the case, good luck to them as there are so many variables here that it would be WAY after 8/3/11 before they could come to ANY sort of conclusion. Unless that is when they decide to reveal that that is what it is on that date.

And, yes, I asked them. I'm not a gambler, but I'm betting I don't get an answer. Or at least a straight one! lol

There doesn't have to be a reason for a thought experiment, just boredom. People do it to each other every day without even thinking about it (though, not to this extent!) Interesting, eh?

That wiki link is fascinating! Here's one of the 7 types of thought experiments used

Backcasting The activity of backcasting involves establishing the description of a very definite and very specific future situation. It then involves an imaginary moving backwards in time, step-by-step, in as many stages as are considered necessary, from the future to the present, in order to reveal the mechanism through which that particular specified future could be attained from the present.

maybe theyre the ones "casting" the first stones

Well at least if all else fails about this whole thing, at least the Blue Bell Ice-cream company will get some publicity, they could even use that little tune ffrom the " About us " page, for their Ice-Cream vans. Perhps even men with cowboy hats and guitars will sit in their offices, next to their water fountain machines, singing songs about it, hey he looks familiar !
