You sign up by running their bot nets whether you know it or like it. Then the cops come and take you away. Then they investigate and see that you sign up for sites like ATS and use Anonomous in your online identities, avatars, posts and any other sites you visit tagging yourself with the group. Then you go before the judge and tell him the same mumbo jumbo you just posted here and it holds no water compared to the evidence.
Welcome to the real world.
Except I don't run bot nets; The cops aren't going to take me away; Aren't going to investigate me; Aren't going to see that I sign up for sites like ATS and use Anon in my identities, avatars and posts; And I'm not going to be stood in front a theoretical judge.
Welcome to the real world, where not everyone you disagree with can be pigeon holed.

I don't see anything positive about a group of disorganized misfits who started their career out of 4-chan who now threaten the stability of the internet with their anarchist ways. Do you?
My perspective on this is an adult one. I will not trust my leader to be a teenager without real life skills and wisdom. BTW, the FBI's wrath also affects child pornographers, counterfeiters and terrorist cells . Now what do you have to say about them?

More than a dozen suspected members of "Anonymous" were arrested this morning in states including Florida, New Jersey and California, in what appears to be a nationwide takedown of the notorious hacking group.
Looks like they got'em folks. It's over!

Think what you like, internet hackers are the only reason the internet has freedom right now. But well done, the hackers are the enemy, the government are your friends - I'm sure that's how good ol' Bill would say things too, eh?
You have no clue what you're talking about with this statement. Do you realize that without the our miliray and CIA Cyber Analysts and Network Warfare personnel that the USA would have NO internet right now? Why because other countries want to take it out. The fact that you think that it's teenagers keeping the internet up shows a complete lack of knowledge.

My beef with this thread? There was an announcement of a few early morning raids, and the statement that the suspects were "suspected" of being involved with Anonymous. But that is enough that everyone on the first page is already convinced that these kids are "hackers" and that they are involved in actual "criminal" matters.
The presumption of innocence -- once the cornerstone of our supposedly enlightened legal system -- has been so degraded that a news story of an arrest is widely considered to be evidence of guilt or innocence. The truth is: an arrest is not evidence of anything, either way.
More than a dozen suspected members of "Anonymous" were arrested this morning in states including Florida, New Jersey and California, in what appears to be a nationwide takedown of the notorious hacking group, FoxNews.com has exclusively learned.
The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into Anonymous, which has claimed responsibility for numerous cyberattacks against a variety of websites including Visa and Mastercard.

He wasn't a lunatic at all. Get to really know him, listen to his broadcasts, research what he said just as he told his listeners to do. He never said believe what he said.
By the way, your dear hackers aren't helping squat. Oh and here's something else for you. 25 % of U.S hackers are F.B.I informants
So you never know who may be who. On here or elsewhere.

Well, you should, and you will from the moment you understand their cause.
