Who are you to call anyone a coward from your cosey home, behind your computer - how do you know what anguish he or she has gone through?

Disgusting.

What anguish he or she has gone through is erroneous.

He's scared to stand up for his rights and attacks those who do, which makes him a coward. His upbringing or life experience matter nothing.

You can try to debate me sir, but you will lose on the merits alone.

Look crime is crime. No matter if you like the crime that was being commited. No matter how you try and justify what these guys did was right, they still broke the LAW! There is no in-between, there is no back room way of getting around it. These guys were and did break the law period. When we start trying to put people who break laws on a pedastal where do we draw the line?

You can try to say whatever you want, justify it however you want. It still does not change the fact that they broke the law. If found guilty.

Ok, you've lost my respect by making accusations about me. Missing positive brain functionality? Really? I hate kids? Parent's like me?

You're not being objective in this conversation but yet you expect me to see your world view? You can't just loosely spew the word of being positive and then attack me. It makes you look like a wanna be positive guru but with no understanding of the word. This is exactly what I'm talking about...

You have all the right intentions but are going about it ass backwards. You don't see it because you're too young. Come back and talk about this when you grow up.

Sorry if i offended you. I was only pointing out that it is attitude like yours that is affecting kids in a bad way.

You are the elder one that kids should look up too. You should motivate them, not look down on them. If you don't have trust in them, then how can they possibly have trust in their selves?

If you don't want me to view you this way then please change your attitude! Calling 'your youth' zombies is a big offense!

Up until this article arrived at ATS, I was having a very tiresome and annoying day.

Wow!

Who would have thought Anonlescence (Anonymous) was a group of young adults and teens.

What the hell does their age matter? Do you have to be a certain age to be taken seriously? Is there no longer just an age requirement to drive cars, buy firearms, and buy tobacco and alcohol, but also an age requirement for you to have an opinion on corruption and the state of not just this country but the world?

They are standing up for freedom and the constitution, why does it matter if they're teenagers? Does the number of days that a person has spent on this earth determine the validity of their opinions? I would side with somebody who has only been alive for 18 years but understands and stands up for the Constitution, the concept of democracy, freedom, and fights against corruption rather than somebody who has had their head up their ass for 50 years.

Instead of doing some computer hacking to make change and combat corruption, what do you recommend they do? E-mail their congressman and state senators? Fight giant multi-billion dollar corporations in court? No, those things either don't work or take too long, we don't have a day to waste, this country is plummeting headfirst into a pile of s***, in fact I think we've been there since Bush completely screwed the country after 9/11.

Politicians are corrupt, corporations are corrupt, mainstream media is corrupt, and Anonymous is standing up against this corruption and fighting for freedom. It's better than thousands of "young adults and teens" picking up guns, marching into Washington DC, and getting slaughtered to death by our corrupt, heavily armed law enforcement.

Supporting Anonymous is supporting the Constitution, freedom, and opposing corruption. How can you be against that? Since they do a little illegal computer hacking against organizations that break the law and don't abide by the Constitution daily, they're the bad guys?

Just because mainstream media tells you that members of Anonymous are "terrorists" doesn't mean it's true, remember that, it's just somebody who is a member of a controlled, biased organization reading a teleprompter. Since when did standing up against corruption and fighting to support the Constitution make you a terrorist?

Calling Anonymous terrorists is the same thing as calling the Founding Fathers terrorists, think about that next time you're watching CNN and next time you're about to open your mouth and talk s*** on them even though they're standing up for the very ideas that countless people have fought and died for.

What ultimately brought Anonlescence (Anonymous) down was this:

Link: Hacker Group Says It Stole U.S. Military Email Addresses, Passwords

The AntiSec online hacking movement said Monday it had broken into a server run by a U.S. military contractor and pilfered 90,000 military email addresses and passwords, the latest in a string of attacks on corporate and government targets.

AntiSec, which comprises elements of the Anonymous and Lulz Security collectives, said it got into a network run by Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. via an unprotected server. It then extracted information from the McLean, Va.-based contractor.

"We infiltrated a server on their network that basically had no security measures in place," AntiSec said in a statement posted online. "We were able to run our own application ... and began plundering some booty."

Hacking into a military contractor's server is a really dumb thing to do.

What part of 'US military contractor' did they miss?

...and, then they advertised it online.

Can you say, "Morons!"

Excuse me for butting into your discussion but this seems to be a good time to bring up this point;
The "Boston tea party" was a criminal act until the people supporting the ideology of it won against the tyrannical British ( we would have won if your lot hadn't cheated
) so your argument has absolutely no validity.

My argument speaks loud yellowbeard. Once agin you can try to justify this crime by comparing it to other crimes, or any other thing that you think holds water. Fact, it doesn't matter about some old law, new law, or any other thing. It matters about the here and now in which we live. Breaking into goverment, and military computers is A CRIME! I don't care about what use to be a crime, or did not use to be a crime. This is crime, and it will be prosecuted as so!

If the crime is committed in the name of human decency, and in the name of justice, truth, and what's RIGHT in the world, then I support your version of "crime"

If you think the feds are gonna slow this down, then you are sadly mistaken. Operation Onslaught begins in 10 days. Where will you be?

Actually, I do think this event will take the entire operation down.

After the FBI analyses the various confiscated computers, they will have a full understanding on how the group functions. As each of these individuals are questioned, the hackers will all ask for a plea deal in exchange for names, code names, server addresses, etc... Upon drawing out a profile for each hacker, they will strategically infiltrate the group's membership.

Game over.

After threatening these young people with life in prison, they'll recruit them to work for the FBI. Most hackers who have shown their skill by hacking into corporate and government offices often are recruited after being arrested.

I know the internet and hacking are the new playground for the kids and yes, it will not stop at all as this is their world , and they will play in unimaginable numbers as it becomes more and more born to them , so all the old people , who now run the world , need to get a grip of that,.
.

Our older group are not born to this and we will fail . I think they know this , thus here lies the reason why they recruit these young teen offenders , as they dont have the natural born know how to deal with this . There is no advoiding cybers wars as you call it unless the cyber space it taken down and we go back to the slow but more secure way of business .

I doubt it was secure either . Let the war of the worlds continue Thus.

If they dont like the laws, than they should spend a little more of their time on getting an education on how to change the laws. Instead of learning to committ crimes behind a monitor, sitting on their ass while others like us work for a living and try to make the best out of life as we can. These punks are nothing more than spoiled brats who wanted to change things for them, more than US. They got caught up in the attention, instead of the message. Once again in their same language may I say to them "YOU PHAIL, AND GOT POWNED"
