If they pull the 'plug' - (which they won't) - they will cause billions of pounds worth of damage to hundreds of thousands of companies.

The internet killswitch will NOT happen.

Obama simply doesn't have that power. nor will he risk damaging hundreds of thousands of companies.

Only the homepage is not working. If you are quick enough to click on any link in the homepage before it redirects you to twitter, you can actually go the link without any problem.

That really made me LULZ!

If their intent was based solely on that, it's stupid. Guardian apologised for the error.

So who's gonna make the first call?

Be a crying shame if those telephone numbers went to the Liverpool football club fans, y'know the ones whom the SCUM newspaper insulted at the hillsborough disaster.

this is not an internal server error.
This looks to me like they are getting MAC addresses from machines visiting the site.

Saw somebody post this on Facebook...But thought it was some virus or ad-spam link...

Anyway, The Sun isn't anything special that it's "worthy" of hacking...Come on Lulzsec. How about hacking banks & giving away free money or summat?

I guess revealing NOTW emails, somewhat interests me...

But I don't really care for Sun readers missing out on reading todays hot gossip on Lady Gaga, the Biever kid, or which celebrity if gettin' off with who...

Sorry for being so blazé. There's not too many things to be cheerful for these days.

On ABC radio this morning taking the kids to school, they mentioned the involvement of a (?) in the paper scandal as well who got his daughter(?) a job with the police. The plot thickens interestingly. Will try to find some ref for this.

If the hackers do bust in I hope they don't do anything stupid like deleting the e-mails!!!
