I can't even imagine - but perhaps the parent sees a trace of the other parent in the offspring and the original attraction is reignited? And the child sees familiarity?

You have to wonder, it seems a small world. What of all these sperm donations? Some of these donors have mulitiple children. How would that be handled if a discovery is made - say after marriage, and after a new child with genetic health issues is brought into this world - of the sibling relation of the parents. Meaning the siblings never even knew. I am sure this has happened at some point in history in a small town with an overly friendly post man.

The cause for some people possibly going to jail or getting a criminal record. Are just stupid laws left over from silly religions. sighhhh religion is the cause of so much stupidity in the world...

Incredibly, the couple had admitted the same charge four years ago and were both punished for the offence - but reignited their affair for a second time afterwards. On the first occasion, Yates was given a community order for 18 months and Butler received four months jail.

So they have done this twice. And both were convicted for it the first time. And now probably will be again.

I don't condone their behavior, but as others have said, they are both old enough to consent, whether the family likes it or not. The courts should have no jurisdiction here. If she was underage. Then yes. But she wasn't, and isn't.

How does anyone really KNOW what they are doing? How can you proscute this case unless you actually witness the event? Why are they telling people about this. You know they could have shacked up for crying out loud and not told anyone what was going on behind closed doors - and explained they did it to save rent, get to know each other after years apart and what not. They could also relocate where no one would be any wiser. Why do people even KNOW that these two are doing? I just don't get this part. Yes, it is all wrong and all, but gee why/how do people even know what these two grown ups are even doing?

It seems as though they just weren't able to keep it to themselves. But why they would want others to know what they were doing is beyond me.
