Haha!
The sad part is, is does not seem too far from what we expect from some humans! Hence, the "can you believe what they are doing now" vibes.

That's exactly why I got excited at the find!

I could actually see it as not far from possible that a chimp learns how to use a machete.

We did.

Kinda sad imo, teaching such horror to our kindred friends. What's sad is that the offspring will continue the behavior. We have created a destructive mutation in these creatures. Not that they weren't wild and ferocious at times anyway, but this seems like it would add momentum to any natural animosity, and take it to new levels.
What happens when it clicks in their mind that all humans are bad and to attack them?

If i'm out their i'd have a gun.

I'd shoot any ape with a machete coming 50 ft within my range.

If this was real there would be only one solution..

Ape wielding machete RAID FTW!!!

We would have to eradicate before they start hacking our children!!!

For an interesting example of a more positive evolution with chimps, check THIS
It does include chimps sharpening a spear end for gathering food.

Peace,

Can we please have this tagged as *HOAX* so people stop posting thinking it's real? Thank you.

So this is all for a movie, and holds no actual truth? Well color me gullible!

Damn had me going too, but I bet if they really did try to train them with them, they would probably learn.

I think they would learn really quick actually.

Funny that the conversation has gone from WOW! to Hoax! to some interesting conversation about the possibilities.

I just wonder how many more threads were going to see concerning these ape 'news' videos? If only people would use a search engine first before posting these, then we definitely wouldn't see as many.

Personally, I'm waiting for the "infinite number of apes write Shakespeare" thread.
