True, the places would have to be restocked, but what if they were pre-stocked with several hundred pounds of food.

Thats a lot of rice.

Now you could sustain them, tho they would have to keep moving..

41,000 + resturants all well stocked would give them a supply of traditional foods.

As far as them getting here.. /shrug

WOW. You're right. Now all they need is google maps to find the addresses to the Chinese restaurants!! GENIUS!!

Or they can just use Yelp to find out which restaurants would be best for the high ranking officers!

Ummmm really?!?! Lol, so do you think our American troops are chowing down at American restaurants in Iraq and Afgahanastan when we invaded.... really, they drop food and supply shipments off from C130's or other transport aircraft. This is not plausable at all...

The OP believes if we get invaded (America) that Chinese restaurants will still be open

America has no enemies, all American "enemies" are fabricated

Hmm pretty simple really.. your putting to much limitations on yourself. think bigger scale. look at the ports around us. west side already has what 4-6 china ports up the western seaboard Canada- Mexico. east side not to much but on south side of Florida something like 40-50 miles out china has major sub base. + you got Cuba then Russia has a spot that they was able to claim sovereignty. im sure Russia wouldn't mind giving a helping hand on that side. even if its indirectly letting them use routes. i really don't think they would have any issue with getting supply's.

All I would have to say to China is.

Good luck, your going to need it......

I am more worried about the Mexicans

what the OP has failed to realise is the chinese dont need the resturaunts or the invading army to do any work .
You know all of those products marked "made in china " well the chinese have been pulling the fast one . Every product china has made in the last 10 years that has been shipped overseas is actually a collection of nanomachines. One day the chinese just push a button and every one of those "made in china" items breaks down into nano machines and reform as giant killer robots ready to take over the US and everywhere else in the world !

get that for an invasion plan !

Some of you need to take a chill pill, the OP was just spit balling here, stop with the insults. Is it a highly unlikely theory? Yes of course, but check yourself and take a look at the website you're posting on. 90% of the topics here could all be considered just as unlikely as this one.

That being said, China doesn't need to invade us. We have systematically destroyed ourselves and let other countries destroy us without having a single soldier set foot on our land for decades. I honestly don't even know why we keep track of the national debt anymore, it will never cease.

So... a war you say? Economically speaking, China would cripple (more like kill) itself with a war on the US. Some of you astonish me at times, you post as if this is just a board game. The US and China cannot survive without each other, it's just that simple. To put it even simpler for some of you: They make stuff, we need stuff. You take away one, the other dies. We are tied to the hip like Siamese twins, and this won't change in our lifetime.

Oh, and don't give me any of that crap about China dumping their dollar reserves. They may as well take that 3 trillion and call it a write off, and there will be more to come. Who else will import all of their goods? Take the US out of the picture and you have Germany, United Kingdom, and France as the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th highest ranked importers. Combine them all and they STILL don't equal what we import. I realize we all aren't importing 100% of our goods directly from China, but to say we don't import the majority of our goods from them would be a flat out lie. This simple statistic goes to show you that not only does China need us as much as we need them, but the entire world does as well. Let Russia, China, South Korea, Venezuela, Sudan, and Saudia Arabia have there talks about dropping us. Hell let them even try to implement such a thing, they will quickly realize by doing so they are also signing their own death warrants.

they would have to change all the equipment to convert to chinese food service.

lol, unless they want to eat "hambur bow, no cheesie"

forever.

we could win the US back in 2 months without firing a shot, with that diet.

an army travels on it's stomach, someone said.

By the way, the "Chinese Restaurants" in the U.S. are owned and operated by Americans some or many of who are of Chinese heritage but few, if any, of whom are Chinese Nationals.

The OP's theory is like saying Mexico is going to invade the U.S. and will feed its insurgent soldiers at Taco Bell. Wait . . . the Mexicans are already here and they're eating at Olive Garden!

Asian restaurants a number owned by south Koreans and Taiwanese.
A number of the Koreans are ex ROK Army or Marines and know how to fight .
Even the VC and north Vietnamese troops in south Vietnam would not surrender to them because they knew what would happen.

Both hate communist and likely would poison the food.

Then you have a number of Vietnamese that fled after the fall of south vietnam they don't like communist ether.

I think I lost some brain cells reading OP. What makes you think Chinese only eat Chinese food? FYI, they have McDonalds in China...

WOW...

First off, lemme say there was no racial motive to my post..

Second, there was no real conspiracy behind it, granted I was surprised to learn that there are 41,000 "Chinese" restuarants in the US..

Frankly, I love the food.

To the person who commented about German resturants.. fail.. Wife is 100% German, and I'm a 1/4 German.. We won't go there.

To the rest of you bashing me, in all seriousness, it was not ment to be taken that way, tho it is nice to see most of you critically think, and even stratagise as you did.

In all likilyhood, if China was to use said restaurants, it would be an epic fail of a perportion unseen before..

So, just to make sure you understood, this was a non-CT, made to look like a CT, all be it, poorly done. Which should have given more of a hint.

I will admit, I got some excellent laughs out of some of the posts. Some of you even got stars from me for your posts.

I was amused to see actual insults tossed tho, but I suppose that comes with the territory. ahh well, didn't bend any of my feelers none.

Thinking outside the box sometimes has it's rewards, and it's fails. Never hurts to toss up the occasional "But really, what if...?"

Thanks for all the replies, and comments.

Not likely to attack us. Would a bank sue its biggest debt holder when not in default? But, they've already won the war so to speak. If we went to war with anyone we would be dependent on China for shoes and boots. They make all of them for use. We wouldn't have time to go back and figure out mass production of things like shoes if we were attacked.

But what really peeves me is that at every Chinese joint I've eaten at the cash register doesn't work. The hit the no sale button and make change. Can't they figure those pesky machines out? lol. We are getting screwed on the taxes they refuse to pay.

This has to be the most useless thread ever. Chinese restaurants to provide supplies, food, etc for Chinese soldiers? Oh my word. What has this site came too?

this invasion could never happen anyway.
we all know america would just resort to nuking their enemies into dust.
mass invasions are a thing of the past.

but if the chinese did invade, they'd never go hungry as they eat nearly everything.

LOL, yesterday I was driving through rural Tennessee and noted to my wife that EVERY small town in America has a damn Chinese restaurant - run by Chinese people.

I think the OP is onto something. Not necessarily a logistical train, but perhaps a C&C node network that now canvases the entire US?

No - seriously, think about it. With this network the Chinese probably have better intel on the pulse of America than the CIA and KGB EVER had on anything.

They know everything we're doing from local Mayoral elections to National Guard movements...

Wow... pretty breathtaking when you think about it.

I'm starting another thread... just on this angle.

Great Job OP!

I don't know why everyone is so concerned about China, when economically they are doing better than the U.S. is right now. I say we need to be wary of Canada. Late at night, listening to the north, I can hear them sharpening their ice skates, waiting for the right moment to come down here and take our cheese....

First off, lumping all asians into one category is the height of ignorance and very offensive. That is like saying Italians, Germans and Russians are all the same because they are white. Japanese consider themselves as different from the Chinese as Peru considers itself different from Mexico.

Secondly, I have seen plenty of non Chinese running Chinese restaurants.
And as others have said, its American cuisine, not Chinese. Most Americans would run in the other direction at real Chinese food.

And who do you think they buy their food supplies from?

You should of gotten a bigger meal and you would of had more time to actually think this through.
