Front Yard Gardener Faces New Charges

www.infowars.com

Despite the fact that city authorities have temporarily dropped a case against Oak Park resident Julie Bass for growing a vegetable garden in her front yard after the story received nationwide attention, Bass has now been hit with a new criminal charge for owning unlicensed dogs, clear evidence says Bass that she’s the victim of a vendetta. Bass says the new charge is merely an effort to “dig up other dirt on us” as a punishment for the embarrassment the garden fiasco caused city officials, emphasizing the fact that the dogs are in fact licensed already.

Wow, they really have it in for this lady. Is it that, or has monsanto told these politicians that they must break her? If we ordinary citizens follow her lead, monsanto cannot control our food supply. This is bad news for agenda 21 compliance. So, is it a simple vendetta? Or is it the deeper conspiracy? I really wonder. Do any ATSers live in the area? Can any of you provide a local perspective on what is really happening here?

Let me get this right your are not allowed to grow vegetables in your garden?

We have allotments over here in the UK. Also People do grow vegetables and fruit in their back gardens what planet do those officials live on? Their anus?

Actually I see this as A Vendetta, obviously she annoyed someone, when this article became the attention of the nation. And this is their way of trying to get her back. You would think they would have nothing better to do than pick on the innocent lady who wants to grow her own food. Disgusting to say the least,

So let me get this straight...
Cities are supposed to fine people with unlicensed dogs, EXCEPT is they've been in the media for breaking other rules??
If she has unlicensed dogs, I cant cant see any reason why she should not be treated like any other unlicensed dog offender.

Personally, I think dogs should only be kept by people who live in large areas, like farms.

Do they go into other peoples back gardens to snoop to see wither or not they have unlicensed dogs? I find it bizarre they just targeted her and not anyone else.

I think you missed the last sentence. The dogs are already licensed.

Good question. That is one of the reasons I would love to get some input from a local there.

According to the article linked to the Dogs are licensed, as a "good" urban dog owner all my 45 years I most strongly disagree with your stance on the keeping of dogs in urban areas.

Yeah, you can't have a citizen using it's freedom. It's contagious! Gotta do all in our might to make sure she gets drug through the dirt so she'll never think about doing something like this again! /government.

The government were in the wrong here. They were called on it and rightfully called the fool. So they're getting their payback by finding another charge to take against this lady. I hope this lady drags these "people" through the mud!

My thoughts, exactly.

We have a case here in Toronto where an apartment building caught fire and caused major damage due to a poorly discarded cigarette thrown off a balcony that happened to have landed on the balcony of a fellow tenant who was a hoarder. They cannot determine who threw the cigarette off their balcony, and the news here are targeting this poor hoarder as the reason why the apartment caught fire. I know it's not the same, but they always look for a reason to charge someone, or to make it seem like they are always in control and in the right.

Shame.

If her dogs are licensed then the charges against her for having unlicensed dogs will get dropped when she proves it to the court, and this is a non-issue. Leave it to PrisonPlanet to sensationalize a non-issue.

It is the fact, that they are just targeting her. And the fact that this was an old charge which if true has been brought back up by someone who is annoyed, that they were made to back off due to the attention the case received. It is not sensationalizing it now is it.

It is a major issue. They are using the police power of the state to hound this woman who has done absolutely no wrong here.

That is just your biased opinion of what the police are doing. I bet they could care less about this woman and are just doing their job. If they saw something that is illegal then they must take care of it, it is their job. Usually when police have to deal with someone, for any reason, they check their records and see if they are wanted for anything else. If this lady has a previous charge for unlicensed dogs that was not fully taken care of, or she didn't yet prove they are licensed, then they are going to make her take care of it. If she had unpaid parking tickets I am sure they would tell her to fix that as well... If your name comes up they just check and make sure you have everything settled...

To biased authority hating people like PrisonPlanet and others this appears like authority is just hassling someone for no reason. But in reality, they are just making this lady handle her unfinished business...

This is a non-issue being sensationalized by biased authority hating fear-mongers...

, now who is being biased? She peed off those officials, with this case going national and the attention it received, if your too naive to see, this is victimization over this then you, are deluded.

Clearly, you are.

Oh really? Where is your proof that she "peed off" those officials? Oh wait, your only proof is a sensationalized article from PrisonPlanet. Talk about biased... you are making an assumption based on your confirmation bias.

It would have gone national no matter what because of how ludicrous the entire thing is.

If you are too naive to understand that, when someone encounters legal issues, authorities do background checks to see if the person has been previously charged with the same crime, and if other legal issues have not been fully taken care of, and are found, the authorities are obligated to bring them up again so said person can take care of them, then YOU are deluded.

If you are too naive to see that PrisonPlanet is known to hype up and sensationalize things to make people appear like they are being victimized, then YOU are deluded.

If someone gets stopped for speeding, the officer will do a check on the person to see if they have warrants. If that person has warrants, and or other unpaid traffic tickets, officers will issue a summons for that person to take care of said issues. The officer is not mad at the person and trying to get them for everything they can, they are just doing their job....

You people are so quick to judge that you instantly jump to conclusions and think the lady is being harassed, when all that appears to have happened was she had issues that she needed to take care of....

We are talking about unlicensed dogs for crying out loud..... talk about a non-issue. Leave it to the fear-mongering PrisonPlanet to make something out of nothing... whatever enrages Alex's cult followers.

Just watch. Sometime overnight a black van will quietly roll up, and a few goones in dark clothing will dump salt all over her property... Ruining her crop and the future fertility of the soil.
