Can I just ask for my stars and flags? Or do I have to fill out large quantities of bureaucratic paper work to see if a qualify? Can I only make a certain amount of posts a day if I get accepted to the S&F welfare program?

This is confusing I'm just going to earn my S&F's the good old fashion way.

I don't approve of socialist programs that can be exploited by the lazy. But I approve of the ones which give opportunity's to the economically disadvantaged, or those who do not have an education who wish to have one. We must seek middle ground, If we do our country will prosper...right now there are to many extremes.

AWAY SIR!!! What with your idea of earning stars and flags??!?!?! Here I am, giving them to you, providing them for free. Just sit back, don't bother posting, thinking, writing. That's "work". Just sit back and I'll get some from those greedy people who have more.

If it will keep these folks from spamming or in other ways trying to seek attention, then I'll gladly give up some of mine, though I don't have very much to give.

Similarly, I'm willing to give up some of my money so that those even less fortunate than me don't have to turn to crime. Obviously, many still do, anyway, but you only need to take a look at natural disaster zones in the U.S. to know how much worse it could get.

I think that's a fabulous idea. Once you have so many stars and flags, you cease to continue to the forum economy (thoughtful posts) and just rely ride on their reserves to influence people into giving them even more stars and flags.

Just like money. You get so much and you stop contributing to society with it but, instead, invest it into damaging industries to make yourself more wealthy.

Money makes money and, in concentration, does not help society.
Stars and flags makes more stars and flags and, in concentration, does not help the forum.

You stumbled upon an excellent analogy. Star and flag for you!

Yes, obviously he gained his stars not by providing true value to ATS, but by exploiting and pillaging those without stars and flags.

You have way more flags and stars than the average. Thus, in the interest of fairness, I demand 10% of your flags. I will not thank you for them, you owe them to me.
