I personally in one of my comments was (verbally venting).....I am angry that such people exist...and that they do what they do. Would I personally punish them as I stated? No.....Verbally venting is just a way for me to release my anger without actually hurting anyone.

Seriously what is wrong with people, if they did not want the other two shildren they should have just given them up for adoption. I mean how can you have three children but only show love to one of them. I wonder what was going through the don's mind and if he was at age for school. I mean surley he would have noticed that the parents were keeping his sister in a cage for long periods of time if she even got left out at all. This is very disturbing and people like that do not deserve to even be having sex i mena that is what it comes down to because honestly it doesnt seem like they want to use protection, or they are part of something that does not want them to have female children. i do not know i just think that it is sad that children are having to go through all the torture of thier parents not wanting them. I mean do they get some kind of kick out of this crap, it is very disturbing.

To you and all who ask why one child is abused and not any others you should take some time out of your lives and read "A Child Called It" It's by Dave Pelzer it is his biography it happened to him and he had siblings that weren't abused. It is pretty common for such a thing to happen.

My verdict....Death. Forget the showy process, or jail, if they are guilty and found guilty, just shoot them, or give them the chair, or the injection, and that is that. No need to turn this into a show, just get rid of it and them.

I don't think it's the fault or relgion, but I HATE it when people JUDGE people as nice or not by whether or not they go to church! It's insane! Like the mere ACT of going to church makes you a 'good christian.' It doesn't and never will.

Good Christians act like it - it doesn't matter where they are or where they go.
Not that I am one, mind you, but I agree with the core values that Jesus set out.

Hmm...a couple of these comments ( the church going ones) reminded me of the killing that just happened in my neighborhood ( Flatbush/Brooklyn murder). A small Hasidic boy was murdered and dismembered by another member of the Jewish community. Some of the people around town were interviewed and said things like " I am in shock one of OUR OWN could do this...", which I thought was kinda stupid. I mean, we are all people. And people are capable of immense good and immense bad. Judging someone by religion or race or sexual orientation for that matter is just backwards. We are all the same, its just that some of us aren't educated well, nor have been raised in a safe environment. Murderers can believe in God and pretend to be good community leaders.

I would say these people are retarded... but that only insults the truly handicapped.

It is true, this is horrific and should never happen to a child ever. I think the child suffered terribly but there is a small blessing in that she did not know how badly she had it. When you are born into abuse you just figure this is life. This is the way it is. This poor little girl did not know every other little girl in the world was not treated exactly the same way. Doesn't make it any better, I know. To think how many people in the world are desperate to have a child they would love and care for while these people do this... makes it that much worse.

I agree. Kill them. Lets stop fooling around.
That would make the next parent think twice before torturing their child.

They murdered one child and torchered another......prosecutors should put the death penalty on the table so the minimum they get is life without parole!

I say starve them and waterboard them daily till death. Instances like this should be an eye for an eye situation. This is really sad. What do you think causes people to do these kind of things? The way they're raised maybe? What's the psychology behind these types of people?

Just leave them to end up eating themselves in their cells. We'll see how long they last.

I'm taking a wild shot in the dark here. But something is telling me that the girl is a bastard child. So one is locked up and treated like crap, while the other one is well fed and looked after.
