Help, I have just seen a black ghost

Maybe it was a ghost, or an alternate dimension creature... who knows? The other night I believe that I saw a spirit wearing an Indian headdress right outside of my bedroom door; could it have something to do with the fact that I'm part Cherokee? I'm so puzzled as to what it could have been.

if you saw a Large black dog it can be the creature called "The black dog" or "black shuck" they have somethimes glowing eyes and its said they are near when someone is dead.

that culd be an evil spirit looking to take up residence in your house, my advice would be to pray for a hedge of Godly protection to be put upon your house. also it culd be possible that someone in or around your house may be dabbling in the occult practices which opens up for things lik this, not saying it is eaither one of these things but definatly something to look into

culd it be possible that your house is on or near an indian burial ground??? or maybe it was just a relative of yours who got drunk and decided to get in touch with his cherokee side my uncle tends to do that sometimes when he is drunk haha

I used to see something very similar if not the same growing up in Oklahoma. To me they looked like little shadow people and they would flee if they caught me looking directly at them. To this day I still dont know what it is but I suspect it is of a paranormal nature and not just a visual anomaly.

I agree. I wonder what the OP has done to be paid a visit.

I had one visit me once. I was laying in bed with my cats and just as I saw it, my two cats, hair up and jumped onto the top of the wardrobe... I looked at him and he looked at me. More frightening for him because I could see him. Generally, I believe that when you see them, that is when they go.

Could be a good sign...but it could be a sign of things to come for the OP.

it was a sign of things to come. The proverbial hit the fan. No body died though. But I lost everything I had. In a way that defies belief. i was tricked and mislead and then threatened. All unpleasant and all within 3 days of this original post.

Still do not wanna talk about, but the cloud has lifted a bit

At times I see, or think I see, an object rather similar to the description the OP gave.

In the corner of my eye, and always near the ceiling of a room, I'll see this thing that looks like the shape of a tea towel when you hold 2 of the corners and shake it. Like it's waving, or moving, in the wind. Kind of like how a jellyfish moves.

It's almost like it's a shadow made up of fine black dust, but somehow it's it's more like a black nothingness, rather than a black something in the room.

I think you are all describing variations of what ghost or paranormal hunters call "shades" or "shadow figures".

They come in odd shapes and sizes and they are not always in human form. As the reports from the ghost hunting societies and clubs go, these things are more often squat or short, somewhere between 3-4 feet in height, and briefly make their presence known by moving across walls, through doorways, and sometimes replicating the movement of a dwarf human figure.

I saw one back in 1993 and so did my dog. I knew it was in the house and felt it at the top of the stairs - the dog went to look before I did and it clearly was looking at a living entity at the top of the steps. With a hunch that some sort of entity was in the house I ran to the bottom of the steps to see what the dog was looking at. There was what is best described as a thin, black and semi-transparent dwarf figure that was human in form, about 3 feet tall, but shaped like a piece of oragami in that it looked like thin paper had been folded in various was to resemble a semi-human form. It saw me, and in lighting speed flitted down the hallway to a back room. I chased it calling out that I knew it was in the house and that I commanded it to get out. Of course, when you chase them you can't catch them anyway and they always dart around the corner or through a wall or up across a wall and then disappear.

I believe these are intelligent spirit entities of some kind that will remain a deep mystery. They seem to co-habitate with other spirits that appear or interact differently so there tends to be more than one or different types of these so called "ghosts" paired or clustered in haunted places. Much research indicates these things have been seen as far back as ancient times BC and AD.

Well, a picture would have been nice but I'll take your word for it well maybe it was a "shadow" I heard of them before on another thread.
