Help, I have just seen a black ghost

iv been seeing the same in my house recently. Like a black smoke rather than a shadow. So far there isnt any recognizable form to it, its just blob-ish and mostly small.

When I 1st moved into my house it was active with unexplained noises, objects moving, and doors opening. That lasted for only the 1st winter and just now stuff is starting up which is 2 years since the last experience.

Whats kinda weird to me is im seeing stuff now (hope its just my eyes) but not hearing anything like before which was the opposite.

Im not saying this is what happened to you,,but i swore i saw a black figure pass bye the cracked bathroom door,,but then later figured out the middle light bulb in the bathroom went out...

I found the OP very interesting. The only thing I have to add is to surround yourself with positive energy. Do not allow any negative energy to feed this thing.

I totally believe you. I wish I could tell you what this was, but sadly I don't have a clue, you are not the only person to see something like this tho! It really bugs me when people say you have to show a pic to prove it was ever there! As far as I know, to date there is not a single photo that is 100% proof of a spirit/ghost nor UFO's.

My ex husband saw something very similar on our landing, some years back. It darted across the landing, ran in front of him and vanished. My son saw it too. They never saw it again since, and no one believes them either.

I was there at the time, and saw the look on their faces, my son was in tears and my ex shaking like a leaf so badly, he couldn't even hold the cup of tea I made him to calm down.

I don't even know what to begin to think it could be, but I sure don't doubt you did see it.

I'm sorry I can't help with "why" you have seen this now.
I do have some other good links for you to start investigating from?

Most of the stories originated in the East Anglia region of England, UK. (I've no idea why)

But there have been similar reports from further afield too.

Uh...well no, I choose not to trust you, or anyone else who claims to "know" 100% sure what SOMEONE ELSE "saw".

The one and only time in my life that I ever saw "evil spirits" was when I contracted a meningitis type virus. Those hallucinations (and man, they were convincing) were the first symptom of something that could have killed me, because apart from me having the impression of being on an acid trip, I felt just fine.

The OP needs to get a check-up before anyone jumps to any "paranormal" conclusions.

At this point, saying that what he "saw" WAS "evil spirits", is both dangerous and irresponsible.

OP, get to a doctor.

Oh honestly! Your comment is as bad as the *get a pic or no one believes it*. People will accuse the photo of being photo-shopped/cgi/faked/goodness knows what else, and people only seem to believe what they want to and how funny, how it is a different story when it has happened to THEM.

I prefer to read what people write, its far more interesting than any photo, which 99% of the time is never accepted to be true or real anyhow.

The OP isn't mad, hallucinating or schizophrenic!! people do see things they can't explain, its frightening at the time, and they come to places like this to try to get an idea of what it could be, not to be told they are some kind of loon. Pah.

Whatever they saw and described here, has been seen by quite a few people, I believe them, I believe my ex hubby and son too.

Haha yeah schizophrenia is all the rage these days. that would honestly be good advice if I was the only one having these experiences. iv had a small party of about 20 people who had the opportunity to witness what goes on in my house.

the activity is on and off like I said before. If I could predict when stuff was to occur I would try getting evidence. So far iv only been able to get 1 intelligent evp.

Logically, if these were drug or 'crazy' induced hallucinations or created for any reason by the mind. Then why are ALL these encounters so much the same, all over the world and recorded for centuries amongst our own civilisation?!?

I saw these entities when I was a child for several years on multiple occasions - as did many of my family members. And I still see them from time to time as an adult. I have been researching for years, and asides from hearing story after story of strikingly similar encounters, I have no hard evidence to what they are or their purpose.

It's not certain how many we have, but most doctors or scientists agree that it is somewhere between 14 and 20 senses. Apart from the familiar 5 (touch, smell, taste, hear, see), which are the most demonstrable, we also have:

Close your eyes, then touch your nose with your index finger. How did you know which one was your index finger without looking at it? How did you know where your nose was? Did you smell your finger to your nose? Did your sense of touch somehow tell you what the air molecules you encounter along the way to your nose feel like?

For me, your posting this is quite a coincidence, as it was only yesterday when I seen what I believe you are trying to describe. I heard some shuffling sounds coming from a stack of kindling near the window of my "computer room", downstairs in the basement. I thought perhaps it was a neighbour's dog that often comes over to have a dump, then play with both my dogs who had been downstairs with me, and were now at the back door, barking up a storm.
I went out first, wanting to make sure it was the little fellah from next door before letting my guys out. At first I didn't see anything, but upon walking over to the deck railing and looking down upon the yard, and the trees and shrubs that grow along the far edge, I was in time to see a dark mass move through the thinner growth before disappearing into the heavier stuff. Although the length of time it was in my view could only be measured in seconds, it was long enough for me to see that it was about the size of a large dog, solid black in colour, with what seemed like the mass of a black bear of comparative size! Even though the weather was sunny at the time, and whatever I was watching gave the impression of movement like a bear, their wasn't the slightest patch of "sheen" one would expect to see on the fur of an animal with a short coat, which I thought it must have. Even though I watched this thing move into the trees, I didn't see a head or legs, just a black patch that moved along a horizontal line, unlike a two legged creature that would appear in the vertical.
I smoked a cigarette while giving this "thing" time to move farther away, before letting my dogs out one at a time and putting them on their chains. The barking had stopped and upon putting them on their chains, it was as if no other creature had been there. I let them off their chains and as they tore around the yard, there was no stopping to sniff the ground as they always did whenever we had a critter visit our yard.
My career involved working amongst and with wildlife, and with the exception of this incident, I have always known what I'm looking at. Because I know our "main" life comes after this one, the day before, I had tried contacting my son who was killed a couple of years ago, without succes, then I tried my parents, again with no luck!
There is a centuries old prayer that if recited beforehand, will most times open the door to contact, but I have to get into town and retrieve it from safety deposite box at the bank. I'll do that in the morning, then I will memorize it! To anyone who asks me for a copy, I'm sorry for having to decline. It was only after much hard work and research that I was able to find someone who knew the prayer, and I had to give my own word that I would keep it to myself, except for passing them on to one person only, and because it could fall into the wrong hands, to be extremely careful about whom I pass it on to, if I ever do! I've had it for over six years now, and have yet to find the right person. No doubt there are those who will simply call me a liar, but then they don't know me, nor do they know my long ago, self imposed "code of honour" that I live by.

Trust me when my girl friend 1st brought the strange happenings to my attention I assumed she lost her mind. Haha. I agree its better to be on the safe side.

On a side note if someone can explain how to get an evp onto the net id like to put it on ats.

I was thinking more along the lines of those little $ store toys, where they have the magnetic filaments inside, and you drag them across the screen? As you never could get the proper shapes that were on the package.

I spoke to my son about this a couple of days ago (as I mentioned previously in this thread, he and my ex husband saw something similar to the OP's description), he says he can remember seeing it in his bedroom, it woke him up. He said, he got out of bed and tried to jump on it! I do recall this now, as I went upstairs at the time and asked him what he was doing as it was late and he was jumping on the floor. I also said 'Weren't you scared?' and he replied, 'Yes, but I was more angry at it for keep waking me up, and wanted to catch it' ...hehe sorry that made me lol when he said that.

But anyways, that means that it was kinda hanging about our old house (incidentally, in the East Anglia area) for around 7 years or more. I never did see it though myself.
