It would be pretty easy actually. Label a biohazard bag with identification of the person receiving the shot, swab the prick with the cotton ball and place it in the biohazard bag, send the bag off to be analyzed and compared against existing DNA. When you get a positive I.D. you have found who you are looking for.

This could even be done with the needle used. There will be residual DNA traces on every needle used for the shot.

Yes, and good point, glad you brought that up.

The key interest of this story (in my opinion) is that the CIA was supposedly running covert op
with the vaccines as the front.

But I'd bet dollars to donuts that there are hundreds of covert ops running around out there that are trying to get their objective complete using any means necessary. I suppose we should be thankful that each person wasnt kidnapped, tested then released like how these things use to be done.

Edit to add: Just had a thought. This could have been financed by the billions that we give Pak every year. One of those cases where some of those billions mysteriously disappeared.

Doesn't sticking someone with a needle get their DNA on the needle? Seems to me that it would. The post-vaccination cotton ball swab idea sounds plausible too.

I'm not sure I agree with the article calling the use of vaccines a "weapon of war". Perhaps an aid, but the shot in no way kills the combatants.

Interesting though how the guards took the vaccines and we were still able to get a DNA sample

Whomever those men were in the compound, and bin Laden or not...

All news reports were clear that the men did not allow the doctor into the compound.

And I doubt the men returned the empty sryinge to the doc either...

I think I have figured out another plausable explination as to how we were able to get the DNA samples after the guards took the vaccines from the nurses. They had to throw them away. Sure, they couldnt be positive about which needle/cotton ball went to which person, but if even one of the samples retrieved from the trash pulled a positive ID upon comparison, they would know that the chances of OBL being in the compound were pretty good when combined with the rest of the intelligence they had at the time.

Yeah, this is the article I saw back when the alleged raid occurred. That's why this new vaccine story is even more ludicrous.

This article about his sister claims she died a year ago. So apparently we're supposed to believe that the government acquired her DNA sample a year ago or more and kept it in case they killed bin Laden and had to use it for a DNA match for this raid in Pakistan? If not, I guess we're to assume they exhumed her body to get it. Hahaha......

I wonder what's next?

Perhaps our government will show us a videotape of a bin Laden blow up doll being shot in the head by a Navy SEAL and expect us to believe the deflating doll flying around the room is the real bin Laden.

One thing is for certain. Our government did not think this thing through very well. I don't think they were expecting such a backlash from the public demanding proof. That's what you get when you continuously deceive the public. The public will eventually tell you to put your money where your mouth is.
