What Are We Capable Of - THIS IS ANONYMOUS!

I guess Anonymous and other groups Anonops, Lulzboat, lulzsec and many others really need to be looked into further. I recently seen several things that made me scratch my head a few times. And it started I guess when I went on a search for the many hacker groups out there posting data from websites and trying to see there links to what group. You see the infighting and posting of identities of memebers on Pastebins and anonpads and wonder who is fighting who and are they now feds? And I know of one fed who seems to be at the top. He even calls himself Prosec the fighters against Antisec. His name would be Joesph Black. He says he was picked to fight the Antisec movement. Joe K Black is BlackandBerg secruity. I first noticed him when I seen a topic I thought ATS would be interested in. A hacker by the name Abhaxas hacked into the Florida voting system and posted names and passwords of the election officals in Florida. He also posted credit card info and other things from the 311 databases that were tied to the box he hacked. Heres a quote from him.

I think this is fake and is simply a boss chatting with his employee. There joking around with each other after making post on the internet about hacking a database.Heres some more later on.

So seems Abhaxas was a security tester and even cheered them on for fixing what he pointed out to them was wrong. I think his boss Joe Black was using the leaks to gain friends in Anon for tracking purposes.

In a very recent post on Twitter (about an hour ago), Backtracesec names the members of LulzSec. I can’t and haven’t verified the accuracy, but Backtracesec has at least two of the former members of a hacking group known as “Anonymous”. The two former members are Metric and A5h3r4. Backtracesec tweeted the following:

Didn't know being a Marine sniper required some sort of tech degree, quite the over achiever aren't you? Last time I checked hacking the US Senate and CIA required a little more knowledge than your average script kiddie. Sure they have some "members" who are just little punks going around defacing crap, but many of them have their minds in the right place.

In MY professional opinion this group is as dangerous as the hype claims. It isn't always about what they are directly capable of, it's also about the audience they reach. You're thinking too small, obviously they have limits to what they can and cannot do as far as breaching secured networks and extracting information goes, but I believe that very soon anonymous will not have to go through all the trouble of hacking their way to information. I believe that sooner, rather than later, they will have documents leaked to them from supporters.(Imagine wikileaks on coc aine.) You don't have to be a super incredible god like hacktivist group to make a change, all you need is an audience and dedicated members. Anonymous has reached the national media more times than I can remember, and many of their members would go to jail for what they are fighting for. In my eyes all the pieces are in place.

Those of you who decide to spit on them, go right ahead, that is certainly your right. Before you decide to take that stance however, ask yourself: "What am I doing to change things?"


Edit: If you do decide to support them (and/or possibly partake in some of the less than legal activities they may or may not be carrying out), be smart about it. Realize that they definitely have the government's eyes and ears and also realize the risk you run if you decide to sign up and "fight the good fight". Educate yourselves on keeping your anonymity. If you just run out and try to be some hero with guns drawn you will get cooked, be careful.

Hi again ATS, I think this is a great, great thread first of all so thank you for putting it up. I've read most of the comments before mine and I have to say these Anonymous guys are very, very, smart and they are protesting without violence which people should learn from. I agree things need to change and they have a right to protest and the gov. is pissed because there the target. They are very strategical and I would feel bad if anything happen to these guys in the future. If the government finds out these people's true identity they will be buried under the jail. There videos are very deep and wonderful and I hope they can provide us with change. They are revolutionists and good luck to them.

How would that ruin people's lives? Wouldn't it help get them out of the typical routine. Neighbors for once would start helping each other out, rather than nit-picking them because of what materials they own or by how bad of a shape someone's home is.

Mother Earth belongs to everyone, for free. Everything we have today has come from Earth, meaning it should be shared, not hoarded so there is nothing left, forcing others to work for them in order to buy it.

Again, and let me stress this. This is my opinion, and just an idea. Like I repeated twice in the post, it was a lot of assuming and I never once said it would ever work. I was hoping someone would help improve it and expand. Why doesn't anyone want to help each other out these days? Instead we just bash each other. If we want change, we need to start by stopping with the judging and debating.

I bet if I made a thread about how nice world peace would be, I would get a ton of replies debating it. Then they would debate, that they are not debating each other. I've seen it too many times on here to count.

PPS: I am friends with almost my entire neighborhood. If I am out cutting my grass one day, and I get done and am not tired and notice a neighbors grass is overgrown. I walk on over and cut it for them. They also do the same for me. One day I went outside and two of my neighbors were fixing my fence around my house. Now that's what I call peace and love. Sharing

Some of you Anonymous followers really need to wake up and realize how much of a joke the group is and how they are using you to commit their crimes while they hide and do nothing to protect you.

1.) Stop spreading the nonsense that Anonymous has no leadership. That "everyone is Anonymous". That's all BS. Anyone who has followed Anonymous from the beginning (before they became a joke) knows there are higher-ups that control everything. Keep in mind there is a website and they do sell things and take donations. I guess that's just random people that control all that? It changes every day?

2.) Stop calling yourselves hackers. Most of you are kids/teens and barely have any hacking knowledge. Using a flavor of Linux and that LOIC tool, while wearing a Guy Fawkes mask doesn't automatically make you a hacker. If you had any real computer knowledge, you would know how much of a joke that LOIC tool is and why the leaders themselves never use it, but are more than happy to have you all use it for them. You are aware that it broadcasts your IP address to the site you target right? It doesn't work if you try to hide your IP.

3.) Guy Fawkes. You even know who he is and what he tried to do? He wanted to destroy one "evil theocracy" and replace it with his own. He was the very thing that Anonymous says they fight against. This is why people laugh at you when they see those masks and hear your "message".

4.) Do you really think you're 100% anonymous on the internet? You do realize that what we call the internet is tech that's been around for decades now, right? Do you have any clue how long it was around before the public finally got to use it? If the government wanted to find you, they'd find you in a heartbeat. Their tech is way beyond what we have. Anyone who honestly believes they are anonymous on the internet is clueless. Plain and simple.

5.) If Anonymous is soo powerful, how come nobody has found out who "th3j35t3r" is? This is one person that has done more than Anonymous and nobody has a clue who it is. Anonymous needs a large amount of people using the LOIC tool to take down sites by ddos and this person writes a little app that can take down any site they wish and it only requires one person. It's hilarious how angry some Anonymous members get just by seeing the smallest mention of "th3j35t3r".

I'm not referring to all the Anonymous supporters here. Just some of the more hardcore ones. You really need to wake up. How much good have they actually done? They proved Scientology is a scam and cult years back, I'll give them credit for that, but what have they REALLY done since then? Go look at the anti-Anonymous groups that have popped up recently and keep in mind that most of them are former Anonymous members. Also, take a close look at LulzSec. This group was made up of former Anonymous members who have now apparently gone back to Anonymous. Ask yourselves: "WHY did they leave Anonymous to do all that then go back?". Anonymous wasn't about stealing and hurting innocent people. Now that's all they are doing.

I really don't know why I even bother trying to point out any of this. The more hardcore ones are blinded by arrogance and will never see how their actions are eventually going to put an end to the internet as we know know it. Nobody is saying that Obama and his buddies are going to flip that internet kill-switch tomorrow, but it will happen someday and their excuse is going to be that it was because of the actions of LulzSec/Anonymous.
