thank you for pointing this out to be but but ,, im suppose to go on a three month trip to africa early next month and i dont want any delays as i really really need this holiday for my own peace of mind ....
bare in mind that i live in southern norway and yes if she does blow big time airspace here will be closed ...

I work in the airfrieght industry, and this would, again, cripple the business.

Thanks so much for a great thread with tons of useful links and information! My 14 year old niece is over in England for the next 2 weeks for a student exchange program from here in Virginia - I will be keeping a close eye on this as a large eruption would most likely disrupt air travel in Europe. Not that my niece would mind, but it's just one more thing for my sister to worry about while her only daughter is off in another country! And she was worried about the boys....
