Ghost Picture Taken from Cell Phone

The ghost looks more like a painting than a real image of someone. I don't think this is real...

Her hand near the head doesnt look right, deformed?

Have you guys ever heard of the phenomena where people snap random every day family pictures around the house, and in the background is the family TV turned off, but eerie faces show up? That fascinates me big time and this pic reminded me of it. Nice pic.

Her eyeballs are reflecting the light, and her nose is casting a shadow.

Seems physical to me.

I find it hard to think that anyone would joke around by photoshopping a deceased person's picture into a cell phone and putting it out where all of the other family members have access to it. That would be tasteless!

Thanks for sharing. I believe that things like this are common. We are too cynical sometimes to see what is really around us.

I will debink this very very easily ive seen this same ghost many times behind beside and with many people....oh yeah its a mobile upload. Must be an android with the ghost app. Which you can get for free on the android market

After looking at the facebook you can tell its a joke. She doesnt have to be tech savvy somebody opens the app picks the ghost resizes it and places it where they want. It also has an auto-mode. For easy candid shots. Like I said download the app and go through the ghosts you'll see it there. If you would like I could take a picture with that app of the exact same ghost to prove my point?

Please do get the app and upload your version of the pic....that would debunk this 100% once and for all. Its clearly some sort of HOAX....i dont have a fancy phone that has apps otherwise id do it for you.

Go on.....do us a pic to prove this is fake

Its not a joke at all. It would be a terribly tasteless and strongly offensive joke if it was and people would be appalled by it.

I would love for you to attempt to reproduce this picture instead of just claiming you can. or atleast give us a link that proves that this exact ghost is in the program.


I sent her a message on Facebook last night asking for more pics. she responded with this...

I don't know why people even bother putting ghost pics up on ATS.. people want to share their experiences and pictures, and all they get is " no pic didn't happen".. its been Photoshopped.

I myself have never seen a ghost i have no idea how to Photoshop i just about know how to type, but if a ghost appeared right in front of me and i snapped a picture..i would want to share it with you guys but would be very reluctant to do so. I know a lot of pictures are bogus, but we do not have a clear understanding how this stuff works, I like yourselves would like more proof, but other than me clicking my fingers and sending a ghost to pop up at the end of your bed and telling you i sent it, i wouldn't know any other way to prove something like that. We only have pictures and experiences to rely on.

How many of you out there think about what is out there after we die? how many of you have lost someone and you just want to know they are ok?

I think this a cool pic fake or not, if it brings the family involved some peace of mind and comfort isn't that all that really matters?

sorry I had no one to pose for it. You can adjust the position zoom in and zoom out change the transparency and edit it a while bunch of ways also I would like to add as a photography minor in college that this ghost has no position in the photo the girl in the foreground looks like she is sitting and there is not much room for her to move back further which implies this ghost is really short and that is as skinny as a board. For the ghost to actually be there it would need a significant amount of space at least enough for its body to take up...unless its radiating like the shroud of turin and you can see it through a solid object ie: the blinds

I thought you said you had the same exact ghost. You did not do what you said you were going to do at all there.

The picture you created looks nothing like the picture I posted. Its really not even close.

Cool, creepy pic. I believe it's fake...especially with the analysis indicating it may have been photoshopped. Why can't stuff like this show up in my phone pics?

Ill get someone to stand in and show you how it works nobody was here when I took it there are a ton of ghosts in this app. Of course if your looking for an exact replica tell the girl to let me go over and try to reproduce it with her posing in the same spot. Because as I previously syated theres no room for a ghost behind her and the ghost has to be pretty short.

having somebody stand in isnt going to make a difference. I would prefer you finding the same ghost in my picture in the program you are using like you said you could.

You said you have seen this exact ghost used before. Shouldnt be hard for you to find this exact ghost again then.

obv there are fabricated ghost images out there. What you said is you have seen this exact ghost used but Im sure you are wrong and wont be able to produce it or show me a link where It has been used before

Why claim something...why not just do it?

What I see is the following:

I see a reasonably attractive blonde woman getting her picture taken, the flash being closer of course lights her face up.
I see a woman behind her, or at least I think its a woman, could be a long haired young man...hard to say because the hand covers a lot of the face

I know neither of these people

The difference in look can be simply put down to flash lighting on the first woman, and a dulled down lighting towards things not in the focus field.

aka, why would I believe this is some ghost? is the arm on the edge of the pic a ghost pic also? you can simply say the blonde woman is the ghost for all we know

Ultimately, this may be meaningful to you and your friends, but why would it be meaningful to anyone whom does not know the people your talking about to begin with when it seems like..just another person in the background with no interesting qualities beyond being not in the direct flash of the camera, appearing slightly less ambient lit..

That's a cool pic and the fact somebody is trying to debunk by saying the "ghost" must be skinny and short and therefore not real is laughable because I've seen other pics with dead relatives showing up on various types of camera that aren't quite in proportion to their regular selves when they were alive.
