CNN covers a massive sand storm in Arizona 6, July 2011

False alarm about UFOs, unflag.

First of all I hope everyone who went through this massive dust storm is okay because that sand storm was a monster!

This could also be posted in the Fragile Earth section

So here we have a video straight from CNN themselves showing us this massive dust storm, haboob, taking over an Arizona town. As the cameraman in the helicopter pans the camera around you begin to see two orbs/UFOs, two somethings, in plain site. One orb thingy flies directly at the helicopter. I'm ruling out Chinese lanterns and RC helicopters and god help any man who hovers by this sand storm!

Be sure to pause at 53 seconds to see the object that flies towards the helicopter

Kinda looks like and airplane with it's landing lights on

At first, I thought it was a reflection, but you can definitely tell it is something!

I have a simple question. Do airplanes hang out so close to the walls of these storms and do they hover?

I'm looking at that thing on a 42 inch TV and I don't see a plane. Kinda looks like a little saucer to me.

There is a good video of the storm on youtube that shows an airplane right smack dab in the middle of the storm trying to get out!!
So to answer your question, YES!!!

I dunno, I believe in Aliens and all but I have this strange feeling that CNN knows those 2 UFOs are there because they made it. Now I'm just saying that's the feeling I'm getting of this video. Those UFO's, especially the first one, seem too real, as in they were added in with a strong video editor.

There's my 2 cents.

Sounds like that guy didn't want to be anywhere near that storm That's not the feeling I get when I watch this video. The orbs seem unafraid of the storm, as if it can't do anything to them. They look like they're just observing it and then leave

So you're agreeing those airplanes hover and want to be that close to the wall of the storm? Who would be that close? The helicopter filming this isn't that close, I mean what aircraft, not 1 but 2, would wanna be that close, and hover? Helicopters? Nooo

The 1st orb that moves, you can make out it's wings as it leaves the frame.

Your assuming they are hovering. Can't tell for certain.

And in my opinion it looks like they are getting caught by surprise and trying to get out of there.

Those definitely were not planes. How ridiculous of people to say that. More than likely they were helicopters. Although, while I was watching the video I was looking for the tell-tale signs of a helicopter or plane and I swear to God the first one looked like a flying saucer to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big believer in that kind of stuff. But, it really did look like a saucer-shaped flying object.

Yeah, you're right, there's definitely a lot of assuming going on. It's the orb that hangs around, after the 1st one leaves, that looks like its just hovering, hanging out. And when it leaves it seems to huge the wall of dust, kinda flying towards it, definitely not away. I'm no pilot, but I wonder what one would say after watching this

You mean like they weren't told for hours that a wall of dirt was coming? Obviously, planes were not taking off at this time unless they can fly in those storms. However, I highly doubt that. More likely they were news helicopters.

and, you would think the cameraman would follow the "ufos" but does not seem too.........??
