To my fellow bloggers,

Anyway you cut it, hitting a handcuffed prisoner is not good and impossible to justify. It is just plain bad business to do that. I am sure that this cretin was out of control before he was arrested and had ample opportunity to show how big, bad and tough he is, but didn't. What usually happens is that once the handcuffs go on then their mouth enlarges and their bravado increases. Going back to hitting this cretin when he is handcuffed is just bad business, a C-Clamp would have been better.

Just an old cop reflecting,

Gordon Martines
Las Vegas, NV

I had seen this video before but without the sound, now that I can hear what is going on it is even worse.

Well he was more passive aggressive than polite...until he cursed and talked about cops...then that could have been aggressive.

For one, it's illegal not to let him pee. Oh lets be a dick and not let him? Fine... So were not letting him pee but he's being annoying. Smack him? Ok fine. If I was feeling like a mega dick and out of character..ok fine. Smack him. But I can't see how it went from smacking him upside the head...to Shoryuken-ing his face a few times.

I can see actually, he was venting pent up anger from the individual or life period, and that shouldn't be expressed on the job. What an ass!!

Yeah that was not correct.

If the guy wanted to kick the window he would have. That was how he was trying to ask for attention so he wouldnt piss himself.

Then he got punched 3-4 times.

That's not right and I hope someone loses their job over this.

The guy in cuffs didn't do anything wrong.

You no what for those that defended the cop i feel sorry for you the first time your in a situation where a cop thinks you did something you didn't do and you try to say that, or you try to tell the cop he's wrong about anything and watch how there attitude changes they have a superiority complex they can never be wrong and the only way to prove there wrong is with evidence that cant be denied like a video. I promise you your word alone in court will never be worth more then there's.

Technically perfect ... for a girl.

That wasn't a punch. That was a slap. Like a high school girl's first fight. I'm surprised he didn't go for the hair-pull and try to finish him with a nail-scratch.

And as for the remaining punches ... well, looked more like love taps. It's a good thing this cop carries a gun ... otherwise he'd be SOL if he had to defend himself or actually try to subdue a sober suspect.

The dickhead cop in that video is Sgt. Scott Krause. He is no longer a sgt, in fact, he was tried and convicted of battery and sentenced to 18 months in prison.

here's my source.
www.todaystmj4.com...

Glad to see he got what he deserved. The true test of character is how you treat others that you have a position of power or authority over. This guy failed. The guy in handcuffs took the punches well though. If it was an even fight he woulda destroyed that ex-cop.

some people might agree with him, and some people might think the rest of you are frikkin idiots.
all this anti police stuff on ats is stupid, if youre anti police, you are stupid.
i'd like to explain why youre stupid , but id probably just confuse you.

Then allow me to explain why you are stupid.

There is no proper punctuation in that piece.

The spelling is TERRIBLE.

The only thing you confuse anyone with here are your words because you cannot spell correctly. Missed education? I'd guess you didn't finish it or you simply are too stupid to understand how to spell correctly or use proper punctuation.

See, I'm right...because you're stupid.

also,he shoulda went to the toilet before he broke the law.

Yeah, and people born with deformities should have thought about that before they were born.

The cops should have gave the guy the option of either holding it in or pissing on the street and humiliating himself. Would have taught him "discipline" without resorting to abuse.

No.

He deserves to be charged with a crime *assaulting a chained prisoner*, arrested, and then put on trial in front of a jury of citizens and allow them to decide his fate.

That's the real America I am fighting for. One based on justice and prudence, one based on finding the truth and respecting civil liberty. I want my citizens' rights defended, not trampled.

Including the police officer who clearly broke several major laws in this video. He has civil rights and has the right to a trial with a jury. And by God, that's the way it should be.

Arrest him now!

That is why this thread is so funny. What that cop did was break the law. That cop is now a criminal.

People defending that cop are doing so on the basis that the punchee deserved it because he was just a criminal.

Also you should define criminal as not white. Which is what people are basing their accusations on.

We both know these type of People will never leave. They will have to be run out, like the other times they were run out. Its possible these posters are cointel as well, because they are going against some pretty heavy logic and reasoning that is simple in your face common sense.

Or has the Population become that degenerate and psychotic? Or do these cowards know it could be them next, for something as simple a j-walking, and their fear is derived from themselves dedicating in the pants, and this is a twisted defense mechanism.

I would assume and wager that they are Government shills. I have only seen such fallacies emanate from the Government. Most of the Public sycophants are not that smart to even contrive a fallacy, but will have common sense veiled under emotional defense. The Government however is just blatant fallacy that defies common sense and is what provokes the "nauseating" feeling most of the time. Its brute force without empathy, reason, logic, wisdom, and compassion does that inside. What makes that nauseating feeling grow is the knowledge that as of right now the option to kill it does not exist in sustained way, and is only for martyrs that cannot live this paradox any longer.

And instead of taking that option, and believing in that option, the Americans will in fact beg for the UN troops eventually to save them. They will even fight against their own Militia; like they have been for years, and not seek them out for the solution, but will run towards the blue. Fools, cowards, ignorant, stupid ***tards is all that is left in the Home of the brave and land of the free. The rest dont care. They will only care when they watch their children starve to death, and start to kill other Humans just to survive.

Then they will care. And that is when the true atrocities will start to take place in North America. The Blue Coats will be vicious, and decimate the population. However, after eating others, and truly nothing left to loose, the American People will rise up and destroy the Blue Coats with a vengeance in which the World has only seen a few other times in History. Years later, when something is built again, if anything at all, these ones will be permanently uprooted from the Earth like a weed, and thrown into the burning pit.

But first comes great sorrows and times of enormous hardship for the World.

Everyone will get what they have handed out. The Government and Police will have a War with the Population first. The Police will hold their ground until the number of the Public equal them in force, and then they will run for the hills like the cowards they are. The Government will only exist locally, and disconnected. Society as a whole will be this way during the cleansing period.

The cleansing of the Cities will be extreme, as the energy that has accumulated in these areas is greatly dirtied by the actions of those People in which the energy is emanating from.. That is why cities feel so bad, its because of the accumulation of negative energy. The more cleansing that is needed the more violence will take place. The rural areas as well will have violence, but not on the same scale, however their are more variables to think about as the conditions in the Countryside are becoming more unbalanced due to the Natural changes, as well as the overall energy levels being transmitted via the lay lines of the Earth. We are reaching a very negative Zenith of Human energy levels on a global scale.

Of course all of this is a illusion that is being manipulated for purposes yet truly unknown. The Human controllers of this Planet obviously are doing things in which will make the planet uninhabitable for themselves. Even if they have secret technology that can fix things, they themselves cannot calculate all of the changes, its full set of variables involved, and what affects this will have both micro and macro, and the effects from both of these. Its impossible. So they are taking a huge gamble, and a roll of the dice, or other entities; not Human, are really controlling this Planet.

The more and more I think about these subjects the more im convinced that we are all looking at the wrong target. The magicians 'slight of hand' is what we notice, when the real information is in the other.

Then what was he guilty of?

We know for a fact that cop is a criminal. He deserves to get punched in the face for that, right?

No.

You know, in most cases the cops would hog tie the guy to prevent him from kicking the window, which i have seen done many times. In this case it looked more personal.

But to deck--punch--an unarmed handcuffed man directly in the face, and then kick him, is totally uncalled for.

Even if the cops, from the outside looking in, thought he was kicking and trying to break the window, the fact that he was just asking to go to the bathroom, the fact that he was punch multiple time WHILE RESTRAINED and while NOT being violent AT THAT TIME is enough to disgust me, regardless of what he may or may not have done or be charged with. Heck the guy might be guilty of killing an old lady, but that does not give the cop the right to punch him while restrained.

Granted, we do not know what he was charged with, or the circumstances surrounding the arrest, and the video is extremely short, that should not have any bearing on punching a handcuffed man.

I see some people saying, "well, we don't know what he did prior.." True, but that should NOT matter. The police do not have the right to beat someone while restrained just because of something that person did. No right.

He was exerting his authority in an inappropriate, unprofessional way.

ETA: I only read the first page or so of this thread, and just saw this post which refers to this other post, where the cop got sentences to 18 months in prison, so it appears the judicial system at least agrees with me.

I have been reading this thread backwards, lol, so in reply to post by muzzleflash

I completely agree with you, as evidenced above.

he was tapping the glass with his foot, there is no way that can be considered kicking. I wouldn't call this police brutality but this is most definitely excessive force... there's no excuse for it.
