There are more than one of him around . I've had a few visits from Apogee Corp. - weaklings. Who is getting locked in or out of bunkers is the issue here . Many of Newscorp investigative arm are going to be in prision when this comes round. They're cutting far far too many off to get away with it : the plan is going wrong, badly wrong. Let's just hope they have all the information or are not covering anything up and i still have an interest in the brown dwarf thoery which can also explain climate anomolies along the abnormal tectonic activity this year, but that is a far fetched theory and to be honest i hope it's not true

Nothing to do with the quality of my life, I just think people should be held accountable in some way when they are being irrational, and scaremongering, even if the best I can do is a "Ha ha, told you so, now, learn from your mistakes and try to think a bit more critically next time, ok?".

Or, you know, you'll turn out to be right and the lesson will be mine. Either way.

Oh, and I've lived in Florida and Pennsylvania too, but I'd take Southend any day.

Sorry, Havok, didn't mean to lash out at you. Just get frustrated with these manufactured doomsday fantasies that pop up here daily now. That was uncalled for and I apologize.

As far as it's size, well, it's already been mentioned and stated several times that it's smaller than Haley's and we know fairly certainly that Haley's is roughly about 10-15km. Certainly, Haley's nor Hale-Bopp ever managed massive geological upheaval, to claim that this comet would is more than a stretch. Leonid Elenin, himself, only estimates the nucleus to be about 3-5km.

Just for clarification, I'm sure this has been posted BUT

The correct alignment of objects for today 7/7/11 is Saturn, Elenin, Mercury, Sun.

Now mix that with a 7.6 today and come to your own conclusions.

I have a challenge for all the doomsday believers and those who constantly bang on about Elenin. Here's the challenge. Put your money where your mouth is. If you truly believe that there is going to be an extinction level event because of Elenin, aliens, earthquakes, and you are SO certain you are right then sign your money, all your possessions, everything. You won't need it, because you're going to die anyway, right? So, quit farting around, spreading paranoia and show you are a TRUE believer. I don't care who you give it to. You can give it to me, ATS, some homeless dude, or a charity. The only rule in this challenge is that you must sign your possessions over to someone you don't know, because if you sign it over to family, they can always give it back. No, you have to part with it FOREVER.

So, are you ready for this challenge? Are you ready to put your money where your mouth is? I doubt it. You're all just fear mongers, spreading disinformation, trying to get people spun up. The Elenin story is (yawn) old news. It's going to pass so far (relatively speaking) that it's not even going to have an effect on the tides. Nothing, nada, zilch. We "may" get a nice view of it, like Hale-Bopp, but that's about it.

This is true, but the Japan quake had released all of the pressure that was building in that fault so it won't be agitated again until the pressure builds back up. Considering that that fault line is releasing pressure daily it should be some time before that area lights up again

I don't believe that most of us are spreading fear or trying to spread fear, I am looking forward to this change that may or may not happen. I do not beleive that the Earth will be destroyed but everything will change...hopefully.

Why exactly would anyone want to do that? I plan on selling everything I own and spending all my cash on hookers and liquor, I will not be giving it away.

This sums up the whole End Of The World phenonemon. Doomtards are looking forward to an event that will save them from their boring and monotonous life.

I run a small business and times are hard. Sometimes I daydream about not having to pay the mortgage, not having to worry about putting my kids through school and being parted from all the financial responsibilities I have. But do I want to see a disaster that may claim the lives of one of my children? Do I really want life without hot water, clean, running drinking water and sanitation. Do I really want to have to worry about feeding my family and the breakdown of society which may see roving gangs of rapists? Next time you're eating out or having a few drinks at the bar/pub just take a look around you - do you really want all that to end?

Time for quite a few people to man up and start to take control of their lifes.

I don't think I spread rumor or bad information and I certainly don't think there is anything to be afraid of.

I just read what I read and form my own personal opinion. I enjoy sharing it with others. I don't believe anything I see on-line or on the tube or in the paper, hell I only believe half of what I see live

I don't think the world will come to an end... it was here years before us and and will be here years after. I just think there are interesting things going on and that we live in very exciting times where everything is moving along quickly. Plus the earth will always heal itself one way or another. And even if it does end... who gives a sh*t. I say onto bigger and better things!

I think you need to look up the word irrational... To be irrational is to not have reason, I have many reasons to believe what I do, my judgement has served me well... You would be irrational to ignore the signs...

I've been to Florida over a dozen times and found it to be wonderful place, I've visited southend a few years back and found it to be full of chavs, gypsies and spotty teenagers with bake bean cans as exhausts, but whatever floats your boat... To all the debunkers who say it was late or early, 7-7 is a rough alignment time. You can't expect it to be spot on time and date, taking into acount the size of a planetary alignment with a comet.

The fact of the matter is something DID happen, all these doomsday theorists and there 'dreamt up' elenin and extinction level events have alot of truth in them and alot of proven truths aswell.

Not sure about the planets and comets aligning, But my alignment is getting closer to doomsday and ELE theories.
