Oh man.... I love ATS! I can get on here and read about serious topics, have some healthy discussion, and I think that I've learned a lot from other members here.

Another reason I love it is because I can come on ATS and have some great laughs. Which, in all seriousness, is important. I have had these kind of conversations with people in real life, and often they have led me to belive that I'm NOT crazy and I'm NOT paranoid. It is often hilarious, though I do feel bad for the crazy ones. This guy sounds like he's had a bit too much ATS/Military Brainwashing/Alcohol. It's not a good combo. Sometimes you have to step away from the computer, go out in the real world, and have some real life experiences too, it helps to balance things out (as I'm sure most of you all know)

That being said - If you had told the guy "Pics or it didn't happen" that would have been hilarious!! That is definitely one of my FAVORITE sayings here on ATS. I've used it in my real life many times just because it makes me laugh every time. Love you guys & gals here!

Please keep in mind when I said weak minded I mean easily manipulated for not knowing better... did not mean it offensive in any way. One can not be faulted for being misinformed. With that being said, I agree with u completely.

This sounds like this guy was starved for attention. I hate it when someone wants to shove their beliefs down other peoples throats. Once upon a time at band camp... A few GULF WAR I "friends" were partying and one guy started pulling out his pictures which showed images such as "Him sitting in a bombed out car with two burned to a fiery crisp dead iraqis next to him" uh yeah I need to add that he was smiling and had his arms around the corpses...

On the other side of the coin are the ones who come home with PTSD and this is one way war kills long after the war is over.

Honestly though, their silence has alot more elements then simply the shame that they may feel or the horror or the guilt etc etc... Their silence should not be.
It is via our collective silence that these horrors persist.

If the majority of america wanted these wars to be over then there would be no war but the majority of america either condones or simply remains silent, silently...

Anyways, my point is that not all of these guys are so sensitive and I know more then one who are very proud of their personal kill count yet yes, I agree that this may be part of the issues that the guy at the party had.

And YOU put out the FOLLOWING Personal Information about this member without their PERMISSION!

He was passionate about his stance and he went on to let me know he was in the National Guard, but hated it.

Interesting, considering, he did arrive in a big ole, Chevy Tahoe.

He had at this point pissed everyone off including his girlfriend who was nothing but apologetic to my friend who hosted the party.

He was a friend of a friend to the host at the party and like all new people I meet, I gave him every opportunity to just be himself.

So Mr Cluckerspud.... Yes when you put a whole lot of personal information out there which can be detailed as follows...

He is and adult male.

He has a girlfriend.

He is in the National Gaurd.

He drives and old Chevy Tahoe.

He's in your local area.

He knows your face and your handle and your friends.

Goodluck with that ok.

P.S. This is the most disgusting Ad Hominen of another ATS member by subtle means that I have ever seen.

None of the information disclosed is personal enough to reveal an identity. Unless maybe I missed the profile section where we all list our girlfriends, cars and military record. Your complaint has been noted and shelved.

Actually, it sounds like the guy suffers from paranoid schizophrenia onset by the alcohol. Sad, but Im sure theres alot more just like him on here.
