I wouldn't call these people weak minded, maybe just more emotional in how they deal with issues. Becoming aware of how much we have been lied to and used, and how much power they have to control all industries, and even the weather, can be overwhelming , and some lose grip of reality for a bit. I hope this person well in dealing with his angers and frustrations, (drinking doesn't help) , and finds a healthy balanced way to express himself, and his viewpoints.

The OP said, this guy was in the National Guard. To go there; I'd say you would have to have some values, patriotism, a belief in your government etc. For me it's not too hard to imagine, how someone like that would feel, if he learned that those who he used to serve, in fact were cruel liars.

Maybe it's not, that people like those poor guy lose grip reality for a bit, but that they got TOO MUCH reality and lost their faith in everything they once believed in.

It takes a strong mind to face the reality, that this world got so unspeakable sick, that finally only a god or something like that could get us out of this mess, ourselves drove us into.

The chorus of a song of one of my favorite bands goes like this:

"don't open your eyes you won't like what you see
the devils of truth steal the souls of the free
don't open your eyes take it from me
I have found
you can find
happiness in slavery"

(Nine Inch Nails, "happiness in slavery")

paranoia and complete ignorance indeed; public behavior is one thing, but to let all these twisted theories take control; now that is something of great dishonor..

Self control is important in this line of activity..

Individuals like that get us the crazy and insane image amongst those who disregard such research.

Remember ladies and gents, our accuracy and self discipline is very important. Once you have both of those characteristics, people may stop and listen..

Why is ATS in the topic title?

Why is this thread allowed? The OP invents this crazy conspiracy person so he can discredit the whole site... Why else would he put ATS in title...

Why would he try to discredit this site? he's been an active member for years... He's using ATS in the title because its a conspiracy site, and he's trying to show how sometimes getting to convinced that everything is a conspiracy can make you go a little loopy.

This is why I don't want to meet ATS members.

And it seems there are large clusters of ATSers in my general area since friends of mine are always telling me they know ANOTHER rabid ATSer yet despite asking to be introduced to said persons it's STILL never happened!!

Perhaps because of our wariness and slight paranoia as ATSers??

I would love to see an ATS live meet - could care less about the trolls, go ahead and troll when you are face to face.

sometimes i think people who are interested in conspiracy usually don't talk about it to other people because alot of peeps arn't into it. When they find someone who has a willing ear they have all this built up conspiracy stuff + emotions and unleash it all. Alcohol does't help

p.s i only read the OP sorry if this has been covered.

Gotta bump up the seroquel to 700 mgs. That might help. But theres no gurantees..the patient may simply become too sleepy to engage in conspiracy talk and want to take a nap often.

You handled the situation all wrong.

When a drunken schitzo accuses you of being CIA or FBI, you play along. Spend the remainder of the night watching him from across the room, touching your ear every so often to "key your mic". Every time he goes to another room, "key your mic" and say loudly "Subject on the move, over". Also, when doing this remember to take photos every so often.

Caution: Chances of being stabbed vary depending on the persons drunkeness and degree of mental illness.

Its a sad irony that so posters on this thread have said things like, "i dont tell anyone that im on ats" "i keep it to myself" etc etc, when we should be trying so hard to inform people.
God, the powers that be have really done a job on us.

Totally agree with you , and I didn't meant to say he lost total grip of reality, when it is in fact reality that has got him to his emotional state, but in that emotional state you can start imagining some things, ( people around you being CIA)...that is more what I was referring to as losing a grip of reality, not so much the general conspiracies.

Is this supposed to be funny? Hopefully someone uses your method of dealing with it, to someone you care about when they are feeling paranoid.

its funny because i didn't mention this website to my friends until one of them mentioned it to me. He is way more "conspiracy" than me.

I can tell he's itching to talk about ats stuff when we meet up but often its in a big group so he waits until we're alone in the kitchen or something and is like " did you see that thread/video/theory on ats.." when others come in we're like *cough* change subject lol its like a dirty secret.

its fun to post online but in the end sometimes you need to get things off your chest in real life to a real person

Yes, and if you don't find it funny, good for you. I do not care.

Nobody in my family is a complete nutter, so I don't have to worry about that happening.
