Couple this with what Cerberus said about the "2 = effortless" clue:

Everything you need is laid out before you my friends.

You need to clear your thoughts of overly complex digging... and look for the simple solution.

OK. Simple solution: look for a red dot that is a link. The link will need to be modified to get to the "right" location.

I'm sure there is no intention of prejudice against those with Daltonism.

This is driving me nuts! How can it be so easy and the answer in front of us when I can't think of it?!

Ahhhh!

Could somebody tell of what color are the pupils on this picture (RGB shows that these should be gray, but these seem red to me). This might be an optical illusion or simply my eye defect. Could someone without daltonism tell? The picture is from effortless.com.

This red dot sounds like a UFO or something like that on a photo. It conceals its real meaning and confuses the viewers. Has anybody seen a red UFO picture on ATS?

Maybe its the 7up red dot,

I think the red dot will be apparent when we get that far, i dont think we are there yet, keep looking.

I vaguely recall this too... Was it in someone's signature?

What about that zip.ca add that is to the right of the Above TopSecret.com title, its got a red inside

Just a thought, but figured it might make sense to some.



This emoticon is actually a red dot
It also conceals itself when it goes from grey to red
By looking at it as an avid user of emoticons it does confuse you by its use

You are close but not right? ??? Have a clue of what it could mean, going to the deep to type it in to see if it says anything, will update shortly.

sorry no luck unless someone can take what I was thinking to the next level: I was thinking either the word mad or emoticon to the riddle itself.

what about this the magnifying glass in the ats logo is sometimes red if the background is red behind it. I know its a stretch but it might contain a slightly altered address like the subversive element link had. Its obviously right in front of us though.

I was looking at that, but it doesn't have anything in it...

Just jumped on board this game. And I was thinking that has a red dot that conceals.. doesn't confuse me though.
"Close but not right." Is this a directional clue? Something to the right of the red dot? Or left?

You know my zip.ca theory, well it says the red dot conceals and confuses (hense the fact that it has nothing to do with ATS) when you find it you are close but not right (the zip.ca thing is to the right of the AboveTopSecret.com URL and since its not to the right its left). Just a thought
