Such an ignorant post. Even the best Hubble pics would not show small vehicles in space because it was designed to focus on HUGE celestial objects. We are just now able to determine where Earth-like planets are. Just as we made the new discover of such Earth-like planets the funding plug was pulled on SETI. Hell, if there are aliens out there it does not mean they use radio signals.

So many telescopes around the world operated by hobbyist, governments, schools, etc that look deeply into space yet noone has found a alien family cruising through the cosmos in a jetsons like flying car.. or flying saucer.

What our hubble can pick up is impressive to us...we can see pretty far...but in a cosmic sense, we are so near sighted we are perhaps considered legally blind and deaf.

we have what...less than 100 years of knowledge behind a multi-billion year old universe...and somehow with our bare cracking of an eye for the first picosecond, we are supposed to see and know all things

now...lets hit just one fallacy
we have telescopes going all around looking everywhere...do you personally own a telescope? I do...a decent one (don't ask me the model..its a yard sale one, but I can actually look deep into the craters of the moon)...
Its really hard following a -star- much less anything moving faster (closer = faster)...trying to follow something like a bird or aircraft on anything but the most wide lense would be impossible...of course a narrow lense would make it absurd..

also, even though I feel I can all but touch the rocks on the moon with my telescope, I am still seeing a vast area of land....a ufo sized craft (say 30m) wouldn't even register on my scope unless it decided to joke around and park right over my head

the craft would have to be Death Star sized and in our solar system...pretty close to earth at that before even the most powerful scopes would pick it up...

finding a standard reported craft "somewhere out there" randomly is like finding a needle in a haystack the size of the milky way

So basically what you're saying is skeptics are needed because they may isolate you from the fake stories and such. Yes, this is why Im not a believer and I stay in between both sides. One should approach with measure both about a certain theme's possibility to be true and the possibility to be false. Either is bad - too much believing which mean's you can't distinguish real from unreal and too much denial which is ignorance. Im directing my dislike of skeptics exactly of that kind, usually seen on one other forum called skeptic.. which turned me really on against that kind of ignorance.

If we are making assumptions, it is fair to assume that life out there if evolving in similar conditions would have similar traits. Consider this. We are all made up of elements that are found throughout space. It is safe to say that life exists out there based on what we observe here and it is made out of the same stuff. Look at the life on our planet, some of it looks alien to me.

Lets compare it to how cars differ from each manufacturer. They all have wheels and most have ashtrays. They all have motors of some sort. They are mostly all covered with paint. Still, this does not mean that a Lamborghini is exactly the same as a Tahoe but they are still both vehicles.

Its easier for people to assume that other intelligent life looks like us because we are the only frame of reference at the moment.

Yes I believe the Ancient Alien theory more than any other theory to describe mankind's origin. More and more, people are starting to connect the dots and now the bible makes more sense, and it no longer sounds like a 'fairy tale.

The Gods and Angels were extraterrestrial beings displaying advanced technology:

Chariot of Fire= UFO/rocketship
Miracles= advanced technology
Creation=genetic engineering/ terraforming
Virgin Birth= artificial insemination

Gods= leaders/ commanders of extraterrestrial race
Angels= crew members of the gods

What say you?

Or maybe the Earth is older than everyone realizes. We are genetically engineered by the best programmer in the universe. Like all good programmers he reuses his code over and over. Athiest have a joke about men's nipples being evidence that we were not intelligently designed. It actually proves to me that God reuses code like a good programmer! If only we could find the hidden comments in the code to figure out what we should do with ourselves.

There should not be a 'fear' or an intimidation that many other species in the universe could resemble us.

They cant hide it anymore. Everything is pointing to disclosure happening soon...

Well the decision and date really isn't up to us.
If all of our speculations are right (as in that the aliens would be way more advance than us, which is most likely) then if they want to meet up, it will be entirely up to them.
All of our signals that we are sending into space aren't doing much. They aren't going to be taken off guard by a random transmission and be like "Oh hey there's life on that blue planet."
They would already know.

Well that's the way I see it anyways.
