It is explained in detail why the buildings collapsed and this explanation is accepted in the scientific community. The couple of people who disagree have never been able to produce anything of relevance that either invalidates the official explanation or proves any of the claims they make. Anyone who thinks they know better will have to come with some convincing work, so far there is none. I have no reason whatsoever to believe those buildings collapsed from anything other than planes, fires and gravity. The reason some people believe this is not science, it has political motivations.

I also do not have any reason to believe that there were no hijackers. The story that they are still alive has long been debunked (people with the same name do exist). We all saw the planes, we all know the passengers died. The most simple explanation by far is that the planes we saw were actually the hijacked planes. Any other theory (such as remote controlled planes) is not supported by any evidence whatsoever.

But the question who was behind the attacks is another story. I personally believe it was a bunch of unorganized USA haters. I don't believe there was an international terrorist organization behind it lead by Osama Bin Laden. But it is very hard to swallow that a random bunch of unorganized nobodies could be able to perform an attack like that, which is the reason why Al Quida got the blame. It also gives an easy to identify enemy, which is also very useful when you have to control a population. I do not immediately object to this kind of lying, as long as the motives are to keep the population in check, although I suspect there were other motives also.

I don't care what the scientific community accepts (they accepted phrenology too), an explanation relying on modelling without source is no explanation at all and reductio ad absurdum is not an argument for the assumption.

I don't doubt that most scientists accept the conclusions for pragmatic and political reasons, but I don't think that makes the reasoning used to arrive at those conclusions valid.

I also do not have any reason to believe that there were no hijackers.

An I don't have any reason to believe the Pope is not a Muslim either, what's more if I never look I am guaranteed to find any.

Yes I am from the UK dont give a jot about what Americans think about their government I think its 100% as we ALL saw it on tv then again that may be due to the fact that.

1) When I left school my first job was in a STRUCTRAL STEEL design/drawing office
2) All my education was science/physics based.
3) I have worked in construction for 30+ years
4) I am on site most days and working on buildings/projects costing from a few thousands to £100m+

So I actually KNOW !!! something about the subject and DONT NEED some conspiracy site to tell me what they think or want to think happened!

Also the following FACTS!!!!!!

NO ONE repeat NO ONE knows the full extent of the damage done to the towers by the impacts,fuel explosion and then fires, yes thats right I said NO ONE on either side! BUT

I thought foreigners had better info than the USA; however I see I am sadly wrong. Yet some of you in here believe four airplanes can fly over highly restricted airspace such as over US (Nuclear Power Plants) fly off their given course after given their flight intentions from take off and completely ignore Tower control instructions. And if that is not insulting to our intelligent, believing four alleged airplanes did all this and flew around for a whole hour and no one saw a thing on radar, satellite, FAA, NORAD, even when FAA instructions were ignored?

How come this has never happened before in any country? Because it cannot.

911 is a proven fairytale from start to finish. The fact is the US government has admitted to lying and have been caught lying about the events of 911, why would any sane person want to believe in anything the government has to say, much less the 911 OS?

I am not really sure what you are talking about, but to me it doesn't matter what you think of the quality of the science concerning the tower collapses. I do not believe you are qualified to make such an assessment, and if you are, publish your work and I may listen to you.

I'm from the UK and know for a fact that 9/11 and 7/7 were both false flag attacks!!
I have my reasons to call them facts and I suggest you do the research that I did and the facts become very clear!!
I have researched this subject extensively since 2004 and am in no doubt what so ever that foul play by TPTB took place........This is not even debatable anymore!!

But the sad thing is.....I'm a minority in the UK as it is very very well controlled by the MSM...people here are DUMB!!.....X factor or Britains got talent is king here!!....oh dear oh dear

I hate to burst your bubble but those are contingent facts and as such have nothing whatsoever to do with logic.

Show me a witness to the natural events required by NIST to make their hypothesis work. You know as much as I do that the OS is based only on special pleading and doesn't feel it needs to bother with such inanities as empirical evidence or valid logical arguments.

My point is that there is no reason to believe there were no hijackers that is based on any evidence.

And as I pointed out earlier there is no good independent reason to believe that there were hijackers either, since the only evidence has a) been shown to be partially wrong (live hijackers), b) is sourced from dodgy videos, c) comes from people with vested interests (CIA) d) comes from people who have been known to lie publicly about matters in this domain at the HIGHEST level (Bush admin. before the U.N.) or e) was extracted under torture.

So shall I put you down as agnostic about the O.S. then?

Oh boy, here we go again. The airspace over the US is not and never has been an impenetrable fortress. There are literally 1000's of planes in the air over the US at any given moment, everything from ultralights to C-130's.

Just to reflect back to your OP a moment, it would seem that, contrary to your expectations, there are quite a few non-US members who don't have any time for truther theories.

I believe the official story and i'm an American and very happy to debate this with anyone.

I've got a couple questions nobody has ever been able to answer.

I'm undecided, though based on Operation Northwoods, 9/11 being an inside job is far from unimaginable.
