Marriage has existed long before recorded history, long before religion was invented. Religion only got involved in marriage because it realized that ti could make money off of it and could use it to further control its followers.

Yes it does, but sperm donation should be limited to married couples who cannot reproduce because of a medical condition. And being a lesbian is not a medical condition. But that is my though on sperm donation. And what about a male couple? What would they do?

They get disowned and cut off. A restraining order is taken out against them to prevent them from coming near the house. Any questions?

Use a surrogate mother. There are women who make a living off of carrying other people's babies for whatever reason.
