Argentina 2011: Strange Angel and UFO?

Back on topic, I've never seen a UFO like this before, so I don't know what to think about it. It bothers me that the name of the dude that filmed it covers up the UFO for a good portion of the video, especially when the zoom in on it to see a little more detail. If I had to guess what it is, I would go with some sort of extraterrestrial craft, because if they have the technology to travel many light years to get to earth, I'm sure they can put on a light show. Also it could be some government technology, they could have been testing some thing out, it has a mushroom cloud shape to it, it might be some new weapon that's being tested. Or maybe it's some strange weather phenomenon, the moon reflecting off a pocket of less dense air or a cloud or something, a strange form of lightning, something like that.

Also at 2:09 in the video, is that a meteor? Or is that the UFO in question with the strange jellyfish accomplice?

You may not have had a chance to read my post yet since I posted just before you did, but as I said just before you, since we see bugs before and after that, I see no reason to rule out that moving thing in the middle of the video is also a bug.

Those aren't sprites, sprites are just a quick flash.

Someone posted what looks to me like the correct explanation for those lights in the comments section about 2 weeks ago, and they are, well, lights:

Ah folks, these beams of lights are all over the north central part of Iraq. I have seen them from the air as recently as the beginning of May 2011 while flying. They can only been seen while looking through NVG's and seem to be coming from areas where there is oil drilling platforms in the desert. I hate to break it to you but it appears to be nothing more then man made lights.

Yeah, I've worked in oil fields, they have lights.

I believe the ones who said sprites are correct....I said plasma, but lightning is plasma anyway. Here is another video showing a sprite/lightning plasma. I think it looks identical....what do you y'all think?

Hmm I don't think it's a sprite because just like lightning they don't stay in the sky very long before fading out. This light is pretty constant but you're right it does look a lot like a sprite.

All in all, Im scratching my head so good find haha.

It looks identical to what StealthyKat?

Do you see the timer showing the event lasts 4/1000 of a second in the upper left hand corner?

What else are you comparing it to that lasts 4/1000 of a second? The only things I've seen last much longer than that, which is why I said it can't be a sprite. You lost me?

My initial thought, at the beginning.
To me, it also looks like the the lights appear on glass, but it could very well be my eyesight.

This isn't UFO related, have you seen Argentina? It is the end of the world and the place is exotic, absolutely crazy. There is no terrrain in America or Europe close to as strange.

However I agree that the South America thread should be in discussion as it is, because there is evidence that aliens moved to Argentina, possiibly after they got "kicked out" of the US.
