I watched the video, but didn't understand what was going on completely. Now it seems there is a dog crapping on the yard issue.

If the lake is at a park, then there is probably no alcohol or drugs permitted, and signs stating so. The old guy probably lives with some type of homeowners association rules that prohibited a fence being put up. There are a lot of variables missing from the video, such as, did the dog crap in the old dude's yard? Does this happen everyday?

If someone, like the old dude, has a problem with people on his yard then he should trade his million dollar house on the lake for a house surrounded by forests. If I see a person around my house, it is already too late for them to feel safe due to any laws.

Thats the most ignorant thing I ever read .. Are you black? I doubt you are but if you are, be serious " There is a certain attitude that comes from young black men in this country " ? then I should say the same about Whites, hispanics,Indians and so on. I think you just prejudice in your own ways but thats cool.

Lol.

I notice how a lot of people try to rationalize racism and prejudice like it's the thing to do.
If this was an old black guy , and a young white guy, i'd be preaching a slightly different but mostly similar tune.

You guys talk about respect yet the old white man was cursing in front of a child.

They brought a child over there, with a video camera and started the whole conversation. So my question is...why?

The black guy and his "camera man" clearly walked over to the pond and started recording just to start crap with the old guy. They initiated the whole conversation to begin with, not the other way around. The instigator in this video is obvious.

So why would you bring a child to a confrontation you plan on starting to begin with?

Personal responsibility is lost in this country. It is just amazing to me how lost it really is. I can say honestly, if I planned on walking to confront someone, I would not bring a little kid along for the ride. That little kid's job is to be a little kid, my job is to shield them from the nonsense that does not concern them. Again... it was the young black guy that actually initiates the whole conversation. The old guy says not a single word until the black kid mouths off about being "flipped off". So who is really at fault for what the little kid sees? The old man who answered the question, or the young guy to asked him in front of the child?

HAHAHA that is far from a child...get real.

A Child is 8,9, 10 years old. The young man in the video is anywhere between 16-19..unless he is one HUGE 10 year old. Sorry but that is a far cry from a "child"

You're a dumb ass.

That GUY had a young girl with him who was around the ages of 3-5.
I guess the young black girl with the red shirt on, with beads in her hair doesn't exist right?

edit on 11-6-2011 by DuceizBack because: (no reason given)

Because this young girl just so happens to be a midget and looks like a child.

You're going on ignore if I hear[read] another stupid comment from you.

I am a dumbass??

How about you attack the content of my post and not me? That is typical tactic of a fool who argues a point that can not stand on it's own.

Feel free to put me on ignore (which there is not one so who is really the dumb ass?) and the next time you want to attack me personally, feel free to U2U me and I will give you my real info and you can come to my doorstep and do it. I will be more than happy to give you a personal lesson about respect.

Lol.

Yet you're trying to rationalize calling him a black punk.

Also, he could record it to prove that he didn't initiate contact if the old man chooses to sue him for assault or something.

Smart call I say.
There was already bad blood, the young guy asked him politely, and all the old man did was curse at him like he was a demon.

That recording could be used in a court of law, and in this world.. "his words against the white guys word" wouldn't go very far...so its a smart move that he recorded it.

As an expert on this video now (Ive watched it 4 times
)
The issue is a once off the guy caught the kid walking through his yard once, the kids came back TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE LAKE TO WHERE THE OLD DUDE LIVES and where minding their own business fishing.
The kid started it off wrong Ill admit and most likely if he had of just said hi it would have turned out different. I dont think the old guy went over looking for a fight but he lost his ship pretty quickly and the kid didnt repsond in kind till the old dude got rude.

Sorry but I dont believe in that respect for elders crap, you respect everyone until they show they are unworthy of respect. To me the old man showed that several times over. If I had of been the kid I woulda flattened him.

Just so you know but not that it matters Im Caucasian

Dude, They could have just been walking, filming and going on about their day and just so happens they came across that guy and things started. Cant blame none of them for carrying a camera like if they planned the whole thing. You just keep on writing so ignorant, you just making yourself look real low.

Maybe you just dont understand the world around you but again, thats cool.

Cannot stand punks or bad dog owners, so I am squarely on the old man's side. I hope he can get those nasty punks under control. Good for him for standing up to the dog walking bullies!

Exactly, the punks/gang were clearly just trying to start something because the old man DARED flip them the bird for walking their dog in his yard.

I never said there was no child, I said the young black guy was not a child. Maybe you should learn something about reading comprehension.

Yes there is a child, you see the child clearly at the start of the video.

So with that in mind... you can also see from the start of the video who starts the entire conversation. So I have to ask... what kind of person goes to start a confrontation and brings a child with them when they do it?

Exactly, a punk brings along a child for a confrontation. As far as cussing in front of kids, I myself can cuss anyone under a table, I cuss. I do not always temper my words just because someone else squirted out a child who happens to be in my vicinity. It is up to a parent to protect their child from cussing if it so offends. If the old man's cussing bopthered anyone they had the free country choice to take their camera and walk away. But they did not they came for a fight, thus the bringing of the camera and the little girl.

where in the vid does it say the dog crapped on his lawn?????

His problem isnt the crap its the fact there walking through, are people in America so greedy, selfish, possesive and small minded that they cant let people walk through their unfenced on a lake backyard??

Damn if this was in Oz or most places in the world people would wave at you and say hi.

Its more this sort of stuff than your politics that make most this world thank god were not an American.

I don't let strangers on my property, especially hostile strangers like the punks in the video. It is a liability issue, and a criminal one, trespassing is a crime. There is no need to walk across another's property in this video, if it happens it is on purpose.

I'm going to try and dissect the different ideals about race. I've lived in just about every part of the country and currently live in the south. I'm white so I'm trying to look at it on both sides. A friend of mine is black and catches the same stereotype as most young black men catch. Both white and black view each other in a negative light. You have whites that still use the N word but only talking about black people between white friends. You have blacks that feel like they are owed something and have very little respect. This is very widespread in the south but the more educated either group, the less prevelant the racism. I didn't see hardly any of that in the mid west. In the northeast, there is some but not like the south. So yeah racism is alive and well in 2011 but its not just white people but black people as well. Don't have enough info to make an informed decision on other ethnic groups.

Serious question dude, did you even watch the vid?

They were there fishing, they werent near the old dudes property, he walked over from his side to them

Again... it was the young black guy that actually initiates the whole conversation. The old guy says not a single word until the black kid mouths off about being "flipped off"

Id hardly call it "mouthing off" he asked a 1 line question, true his tone of voice was wrong but thats no excuse for the old dudes behavior. All I heard was the kid trying to ignore someone who was obviously out of line, exactly the way I would behave in front of a little sister or cousin.
And who was it who was yelling insults, swearing, telling him to get out of his face, threatening violence and then finally pushing him?

Please tell me ur just trolling and dont actually believe what your saying

So you are right, you never even mentioned a child , you called them a CHILD instead but then again, you still wrong cause well look at what you wrote... if you dont see what I see, go ask someone else

and from the video, you cannot see who started it, we dont know if they started their BS 2 hours beforee it happen, 10 minutes could have passed by but yet was recorded when things were already getting heated up.

only way to say who started it if we were there from the beginning or if they could have switched on the camera way before getting close to the old man. Quite Assuming

Show me one black guy in the video who is fishing.

The only person fishing is some white guy who is not even involved in the argument until the end.

Did I watch the video?? Well I have stated repeatedly that the entire confrontation is started by the black guy. So if I have not watched the video, that should be very easy to disprove. Please do so.

Am I a troll? I think my posting record on this site speaks for itself. Feel free to look into it and you let me know if I am a "troll" or not.
