Meet our galactic neighbours.

Just been doing a little bit of research into alien contact cases, more specifically, the different species being reported. Instead of finding a variety of star trek/wars type weird and wonderful creatures, i was surprised to find, that almost all the reports of alien contact, only seem to fall into 3 main groups.
Greys, reptilians and human like beings, although,there are variations of each species within each group. (there are also a few other species reported but they are not very common)

here is a brief overview...
What im about to present, is information ive put together of the most commonly accepted theories out there.
(note-alien life is neither proven nor accepted in mainstream science, so all of this is just speculation. i am making no claims here)
Lets start with the one that almost everyone on the planet would recognize.

The Grey was immortalized into human history when it was allegedly involved in the infamous Roswell incident they are usually reported to be around 3-5 foot tall, thin, grey colour skin with large oval eyes, also seems emotionless, especially toward humans. They are mostly associated with abductions and conducting experiments on human beings. They communicate using telepathy.
They are also associated in some way with the reptilian race, although ive read conflicting articles which talk about this, and some say they work for for the reptilians as some sort of living "robot" and some say they are actually highly intelligent.

Among reports of supposed alien encounters, Greys make up approximately 50 percent in Australia, 43 percent in the United States, 90 percent in Canada, 67 percent in Brazil, 20 percent in Continental Europe, and around 12 percent in Great Britain.

The reptilian is a sinister character, they are said to be very aggressive and have general disliking toward humans. They look at humans as an inferior race, almost the same way we look at cattle.
They think the earth belongs to them, and have allegedly been visiting the earth for many thousands of years. There are many conspiracies regarding this species claiming they are controlling the world from behind the scenes and others saying they live in huge underground bases. There are also many reports of reptile beings in various ancient and religious texts, including the bible. They are shapeshifters said to be up to 8 feet tall with muscular bodies, which communicate with their own language and also use telepathy.
There are supposedly many types of reptilians that come from various parts of the universe, i must add though some reports have claimed some reptilians were friendly.

There does seem to be another less reported species, which are an amphibian type, im not sure if these are a separate species or are a variation of the reptilian race.

Similar to the Saurians or Reptiloids, yet being hominoid creatures with reptilian AS WELL AS amphibian-like features and are semi-aquatic in nature. May have once lived on land, yet became more aquatic over the centuries. 'They' have been encountered near swampy regions, rivers, etc., and have been known to attack people without being provoked.

The humanlike set of visitors to our planet seem to have the most variety, we have slight variations in the different types, but are all essentially the same us. Some are said to be ancient humans that left earth, some are said to have evolved separately in various parts of the universe. The most commonly reported are the Aryan/Nordic type aliens. They are human-like in appearance usually with blonde hair and blue eyes. they are here observing humans and are not to interfere with our evolution. (apparently upset with Greys for interfering) They also use telepathy.
There are also reports of human-like aliens being at war with the reptilian race of aliens.
some human-like aliens though dont seem to have the best interests of the human race, as there are stories of them also being involved in abduction and experimenting on humans.

Another group reported are the mantis type, although generally these are believed to be an inter dimensional rather than a space fairing race like the others mentioned.

Long narrow faces, slanted large eyes, long insect like body with strong resemblance to the praying mantis. Experiencers have reported this being is no insect but an intelligent, gentle-spirited but somewhat hyper and jerky moving, human like lifeform(both male and females). Most are around 6ft. tall and their coloring ranges from light gray to gold. They used to survive on plant juices but have evolved to the point where they can live directly off the energy of light. They have wings but do not need them for travel, they sometimes fly for meditation.

Also mentioned frequently in alien reports are Bigfoot type creatures, they are sometimes associated with the reptilian race. They are also believed to be inter dimensional beings.

Some people believe some cryptids such as chupacapra and beings like mothman are extra terrestrial.

Nephilim is the word used to describe the giants spoken of in biblical times by Enoch as well as the giant David fought against (Goliath). It is generally believed that most of these Giants came about when the fallen angels had union with earthly woman.

It is believed by many that these fallen angels will return with the Annunaki when the planet Nibiru completes its 3,600 year cycle..

My zero cents:
Most intelligent creature on Earth - Homo Sapiens. Has very evolved imagination.
Then there are Chimps and other great apes.
But then there are octopus/dolphin/whale/elephant/pig/raven/... None of which has two arms and legs.
And yet all our galactic neighbors have two arms and two legs and are on general so much like us externally that i start to doubt if our imagination is really that evolved.
Why can't our galactic neighbor be an intelligent mass of goo? I guess that it ill not be as photogenic and less people will blindly trust me declaring that i was abducted/has discussion with few lumps of translucent mold from Alfa Cantauri then if i will claim the same but concerning something Humanoid.

how would a lump of goo build a spaceship?
common sense and a little education will tell you that for an evolved species to make the leap into an advanced civilization you need certain criteria.. arms and legs would be essential.. among other things.
maybe there are intelligent lumps of goo in the universe, but i seriously doubt they are capable of building spaceships and flying earth.
most alien species that have traveled thousands of light years through space are likely to have similar physical attributes to humans.

Octopus can use tools. 2 arms 2 legs? Elephant uses trunk. 2 arms 2 legs? Crow can use beak. 2 arms 2 legs?
Actually ,if i use my common sense, octopus-like intelligent species should build space crafts 4 times faster then us with 2 arms. Elephant and crow-like - twice as slow.
And goo told me that they use telekinesys.
