When the SOURCE used by the OP writes of "dark side of the moon" that ought to be an indication of trouble. That the SOURCE then went on to say, "Well, some light reaches it..."

Oh my!

It is the far side of the moon not the "dark side." It gets about as much light as the near side-- only a little more (MORE!) because the Earth shadows the near side from time to time. When it is a "new moon" and the part facing us is dark, where is the sun in relation to it? Think it through. Go get a flashlight and an orange or basketball and experiment until you can recreate the phases of the moon. How old do you you have to be before you realize all on your own that the crescent of the lit part of the moon always points toward the sun?

Furthermore, the entire moon has been photographed by orbiters-- and you can see all of it on Google Earth, and a gazillion other sources including in the ancient but often far more useful and reliable mode of imparting information. I speak (only in whispers) of BOOKS! Good Lord! Does anyone with Internet access read books and journals and trustworthy periodicals anymore?!

Has not anyone ever noticed that the Mars Base Alpha and Hallow Moon Theorist (ha!) posts are never mentioned by credentialed scientists, or if they are, it is to debunk the absurd?

(sigh) I suppose the many will answer that those sources I consider trustworthy are merely considered that by me because those sources are controlled by the Jewish Elite who are actually responsible for the secret bases and so controlling the media to hide them. (sigh) And then I will be accused of being an agent for the "Illuminati" for saying so. (sigh)

By the way, if the moon is mostly hollow, how does that match up with its gravity to mass ratio?

I have a bachelors in business, not science. I have a masters in theology-- not science. And yet I can spot bad or pseudo-science from a thousand yards while some -- the very ones claiming what an idiot I must be for believing in God-- dedicate years of their lives trying to prove this crud (with twenty five flags already, for goodness sake!) on this post. Meanwhile the rest of the world looks on and drools over the impending fall of Western (especially American) dominance. With no ability for critical thinking, our fall is inevitable. How did we get to this point?

I'm depressed.

The white dots, which so many inexperienced people have called photo flaws, are real. My proof is the shadow. Look at the shadow covering them. Moon shadows would not affect photo flaws, however if they were structures on the moon, it would logical. To argue that photo flaws would disappear in the shadows is ridiculous so I will not acknowledge such foolishness.

Shadows can't point in two directions at once when there is a single source of light (sun). Look closely.

This IS a photo anomaly, nothing more imo.

Of course, there will be those who wish to analise it to death to try and make something more of it.

Have fun believers.

In my mind I believe there is both human life and extraterrestrial life on the moon

Good find!

In the photos, the craters cast a shadow to the left and the white dots cast "shadows" to the left and right.

I call bunk.

Clearly looks like artifacts to me and not at all like buildings.

Me too. I think its time for us to step away from ATS negativity for a little while. Let's go bake a cake. Cake always makes everyone feel better. Seriously though, I agree with you, the last few days reading about all the doom and gloom has gotten to me too, so I am trying to avoid those posts. Hope you start feeling better!

I can't really tell if they're from the same set of photo's, although they do seem similar, and there are blotchy bits that do not appear on the moon as someone pointed out. What ARE those dots?

And should not all those pictures be a clue that the so called buildings are in fact nothing more than artifacts??
I really dont get why people on ATS jumps to conclusions all the time without even trying to research it first.

All these bull*it threads are making it impossible to find any real information on this site.

Are you serious?? How can you be so blind that you cannot see that this is nothing but photo/scanning artifacts?? It is people like you who deserve a smack on the face.

Here we go again! "Alien Building On Dark Side Of Moon Discovered"

It's just image artifacts from the developing process! And remember the images in question are photocopies from a book!

It would be ok if you posted these images and said, 'can anyone tell me what this is on these images?'
But you lose all respect when you post, "Alien Building On Dark Side Of Moon Discovered," like its fact!

Just to clarify because i'm starting to sound like a skeptic, I have no doubt whatsoever that evidence exists on the Moon of some kind of non-human intelligent activity (i've studied Moon anomalies for quite some time), but most of the images posted on here are ridiculously bad!

Excellent thread OP.

I DO believe that alien beings live on the dark side of the moon.
I have heard about those pictures for years! First time seeing them,

S&F!

In that first image I'd go as far as to say that the bright dot's are the highest points of the surface. Maybe the original was a NASA image working out the contours of the moons dark side. Looks to me i could be right. But the crop circle type shape on the last image looks to good to be true, maybe photoshopped. Informations came from before its news, discredited straight away.

Or it's just the time period's pixels. Shadows would come from the light source. I'd have to know the hardware to judge. This isn't really proof of anything.

There is NO dark side of the moon. The moon receives light around its entire circumference. What you mean is the "OTHER SIDE OF THE MOON" that is the side not visible from earth.

The other side of the moon has been photographed quite a few times when it was well lit by the sun.

Whatever it is, it's a result of either scanning artifacts or post processing.. they definitely don't look like they are actually on the surface..

Hoax or not, false alarm for sure.
