It is a statistical fact that the majority of the people of these generations are lazy won't work and to gain entitlements would rather just vote American Freedoms away like a bargaining chip. I don't mean to be rude. But I'm not going to sugar coat it. I'd rather be blunt. And The 60's generations were no winners but at least they worked while they were destroying this once proud country.. I was born in the early 70's and I am not seeing anything encouraging from the younger Generations frankly. I sure hope they grow up fast. At this point I'm of the mindset we would be better off If they were deported.

Because of George w bush Jr and SR, all the jobs went over seas, and because of the republican’s illogical thinking in war and spending on the military, over 100million jobs vanished and white people felt like they was black people, as that president showed the true colors of what government vs. peasants really mean to this society of government vs….out side the government.

I was born in the 70s and am disappointed, in how we let the next and younger generations down. We have allowed them to think that it is normal to be ignorant and dumb down. Not saying all of their generation is that way, but an overly uncomfortable amount.

Perhaps it will be blamed as a passing fad or phase. But I have seen it from beginning, and the increase in people who are almost proud to be stupid, is astonishing. Plain ignorance is not cool, and it seems some think it is.

What is going to happen is those of us, who remember the old days, and were told about the hard times, will know better. Those who don't listen and think they know it all, yet say " I don't know.." when you ask then a question, are lost...zombies in a world of ravenous vultures, so to say.

People of today and tomorrow, will never be old school, no matter how much they pose and pretend, they will never be of that generation or ours.

They can only try to pay attention and learn, as few I've seen have.
Which gives me the hope that the next generation may have a chance. That we left a positive lesson to be passed on, as those before us have.

We are those torch bearers who can illuminate the minds of those whom it speaks.

Because it is the new generation, that will be here when we are gone. Will we leave any thing for them to pass on...

I’m to emotional to speak right now, I wish that onion smell would go away, im starting to feel my eyes water up, thanks for reality.

There are is, thankfully with my generation which is even younger than the ones you specified, more and more Libertarian minded people. @!$! Government.

The 70's-80's generation grew up pampered, spoiled brats.. guaranteed jobs from high-school till today, high quality of living, cheap college, cheap everything. My generation is 35% unemployed and the generation behind me is over 60% unemployed, we graduate college with no jobs and more debt than any generation before us.. our outlook is bleak, and we have morons running the show with more morons taking over.

!%!@ Government.

I pray my generation undoes it all.

As long as a democrat is in office, we will win the war for the good side ,the reality way of how life is suppose to be.

Hey I was born in the 70's and I didn't vote for either pundit...What an arrogant biased generalized statement. The youth vote is actually a small percentage compared to the "old folks" vote. Old and young alike voted Obama in. Don't insult us because of the year we were born. I just wish there was such a thing as a negating vote...every negative vote takes away from the final tally...but seriously most of us know that voting mean NOTHING...the electoral does whatever the hell it wants. Considering the Electoral Votes are made by those that are late 40 on up to close to rolling over and dying age I don't see your point. Other then to make yourself look like a ageist youth hater. Get some perspective.
The deficit issues have been an issue for decades..they have just been covering it up, but with the Internet you finally have been made aware of the sham Government is and the traitors that have been slowly eroding our country for decades. Nothing new and age has nothing to do with it. There is no such thing as a good vote. Same act different actors....Just curious, WHO WOULD YOU VOTE FOR?????

This is true... lots of kids dont apply them selves and give a shht about anything... very few of them want to make a difference and actually realize whats going on in this world all the pain and suffering... the new generation has to read more then ever now do research and see how harsh the world is

The younger generation cannot get the airtime they want because the older ...new formed 'thugs' are hogging everything up.

disgraceful i know !

It's a pretty simple explanation, it's about complacency. A people are far more likely to endure, than to stand up and fight. The people of the older generation had a lot more stability and hope for a better tomorrow. The younger generation just has screwed written on the wall. That's why we're ready to fight.

It starts in the home and as you can see ,the 20s through 60s mothers and fathers didnt do a good job.

Let me also clarify one more thing.

Our National Debt was 7 Trillion while Bush was in office.
Within the 1st YEAR of Obama's presidency, our National debt was increased to 14 Trillion.

so you are saying that Obama doubled the national debt huh?

well let me clarify something for you..
the debt was at 5.6 trillion when Bush took office..
it was over 10 trillion when Obama took over..
nice spin there..

www.treasurydirect.gov...

Im glad its still reality thinking and conclusive facts still presented on the ats, good job for finding the facts out, and not some made up fabricated lie.

You got it wrong, when Bush left office the national debt was 10.2 trillion....the defecit was 700 billion...Now since Obama took office it has increased to 14.2 trillion and the defecit is a whooping 1.42 trillion so yes he has doubled our downfall

ya, they should have taught us how to pick out good rose bush branch to whip our young one's arses with....like their moms did them!!! do you have any idea just how those moms and dads raised their kids??? I don't believe many of yous do or yous wouldn't be saying the crap you are saying!!!
yous walk around all day attached to your cellphones, we well, our phone calls many times were restricted, since there was one line, for many families!!!
yous have computers, and calculators, to do you math with.....we oh, my god!! had to use our brains, and actually add, subtract, multiply, divide!!
yous would stay in your homes all day and night if it wasn't for school......we were kicked out of the houses, threatened with chores if we came back in for the next few hours!!
we had many siblings we had to share with, welfare was a joke and well, dinner was, what ever mom could throw together.....sometime it wasn't that much! hand me downs were common. and, well, most kids didn't get licenses when they were 16, even if the law said they could!! heck, my family didn't even have a car when I was a teen. if I wanted to go somewhere, I walked! buses didn't stop at your front door, or even nearest intersection, it might a half a mile away, and well, there a few years, I walked a mile to school... my medical care came early in the morning when I stopped by my friend's house to pick her up for our walk to school, her father was my doctor, would ask me how I was feeling, and well, occasionally he would have his wife make me a cup of wintergreen tea, or well, pass some pills off to my mom....free because well, we couldn't afford it!!
ya, we were real spoiled lot...who quite frankly couldn't do much of anything without someone seeing us, and calling mom to snitch on us!! what about yous?? how many are only children?? how many ever, ever, had to wear hand me downs, share a bedroom, walk a quarter mile to the store for your mother?
heck, how many of yas still haven't learned how to get out of the road when you see a car coming down the road???
seems to me, our parents did a better job of raising us than we did of raising you guys! but then, well, there's more toxins and crap put into everything now days...so who knows, maybe it wasn't as much our parenting skills as it was the crap causing brain damage....

oh yes, we were so spoiled we got to gather our neighbors big yard and play baseball with each other instead of having to hop into a car and get driven to that nice big soccer field......more than likely partially paid for by taxpayer $$$ (could even possibly be money from the social security fund!!)......or dance class, or music class, or whatever after school activities there are out there!!

yes, it puts them in the perfect position to sit there and blame all their troubles on those who came before them, doesn't it??? I'd love to hang around to see just how badly you guys screw things...but well, lol......that would probably require me to have to depend on you younger ones and well....I'd rather die, thank you!!
but, I am sure, yous will do a fine job of screwing yourself, although well, you will probably eventually learn that there's alot out of your control!!

I'm an early 80's hatchling and I did NOT vote Obama, just as I wouldn't have voted for Bush. I didn't give into the hype, and I still don't see how Obama is much better than Bush Jr. He has amended the Patriot Act, spent tax payer money recklessly and hasn't fulfilled the majority of his campaign promises. Plus, the Obama admin is in bed with lobbyists and international banksters. More government does not make America better. That's something the Democrats can't get through their heads.

The only qualified candidate I still see that can honestly and clearly address our failing economy is Dr. Ron Paul

And while I realize he gives speeches at Tea Party rallies...I can't stand the Tea Partiers myself. Much of them come off as racist, homophobic, and religious bigots

I dunno...Obama may be a lesser evil than whatever the GOP decides to go with...which is not going to be Ron Paul.

Every generation has the right to their own bad taste.

OP's generation is more concerned with people's feelings, creating handouts, and rebuilding the country according to Obama's dream.

Which is funny, because they are a generation with few manners, are only generous with other people's money and may find that Obama's dream turns out to be a nightmare.

I hope you get what you wish for OP - and I hope it pays you many dividends. And I hope I am gone by then, because your generation will never have as nice a life as I did in the 70s and 80s... BOO YAH.

Bravo OP...clap...clap...clap....Mission accomplished! Can't everyone see here that the OP is like Q in Star Trek NG? Or is that just me??

It's a test: he brillantly posts a controversy disguised in Dems vs. Republicans, and everyone takes the bait! 4 pages of arguing or pontificating on which generation is "better" or "worse!" So now we have demonstrated that we can even "Fight" with each other, the people that raised us, or we are raising. He is now testing to see if we start bickering or "warring" with each other. Trying to see if we take the bait, starting a somewhat non-sensical (as usual) thread and pit groups against groups, in this case, older/younger gens.

Awesome! All the while, claiming to want peace, in a later post. Wow, he is really smarter than everyone else, or I'm giving him WAY too much credit!

Wow, I am 2 out of 200,000 posters on the ats that like the democrats and might talk good about them…give me and the other person a break, its 500,876,987,909 threads on obamas birth certificate and Osama is still alive and Osama died in 2001.

My little organized group is nothing compared to the new formed gangs on the ats that floods this site with atrocious lies and indirect ignorant racism every day, can me and the other person win one day on the ats, just 1 day!

The older generation has screwed up so bad it is irreversible, the only thing the younger generation can do is clean up the bs the older and less wise generation did to the earth.
