Neo 96 that is way too accurate to post. You'll never get any star's that way brother. However you nailed it. They made us lose our first war in American history. Made Kennedy say Ask what you can do for your country as they all had their hand's out. While the working man's kids got drafted and killed in Vietnam and if they happened to survive that hell when they came home these garbage free loving clowns had the nerve to throw tomatoes at them hero's instead of hugging them. Those soldier's were drafted and MADE to go there.

Have you ever heard someone admit they did that? I hope it haunts them to the end of their day's youth is no excuse. They all did. It was in style. Was the most pathetic thing I ever learned in school. and they never looked back or stopped. Now most of them being career drug addicts have hepatitis and they don't even know it. I think it's in the 57 percentage. Men's Health had an article.

Of course, by the time most of them do or will, it is beyond too late.

So of course, the problem is self perpetuating...

It's a pretty simple explanation, it's about complacency. A people are far more likely to endure, than to stand up and fight. The people of the older generation had a lot more stability and hope for a better tomorrow. The younger generation just has screwed written on the wall. That's why we're ready to fight.

Pretty obvious the OP was being sarcastic, unless he seriously buys into all that liberal propaganda. I feel so much safer from myself now that I know someone has groped my testicles and made sure I don't have a bomb down my pants. Maybe the next terrorist can stick a bomb up their ass so the TSA can start putting their hand up our asses to keep us safe. What do you think the victims of 9/11 would say if they saw their daughter, sister, brother, mo

You are not the first persons to think this. The OP's threads and posts are usually so full of incorrect information, illogical ideas, and offensive material that many people thought as you do. I did at first two, months ago. But no, if you look through his previous posts you will see that he is dead serious, and it really scares me how people can be so crazy. Makes a lot of sense that the country is in it's current state.

He is a complete brainwashed liberal democrat groupie. No amount of reasoning will convince him of anything other than what his lord Obama tells him. He things liberal talk show hosts are better than the founding fathers.... no joke... look at his past threads and posts. You will be shocked and amazed.

Anyway, I'm a "younger" person and I don't support your rhetoric at all. Obama has simply taken this country further down the path of doom. He is in league with the corporations and has time and time again stripped freedoms from American citizens at a pace that would make Bushy jr. jealous. He has also refused to address serious issues.

And you are completely wrong about the Health care. Where do you get your information from? Who has health care because of Obama? I don't know if your confused or what, but there isn't some free health care system. Obama has done nothing good.

The younger generation is lazy, and is the newest product of brainwashing that TPTB have come close to perfecting by now. Where as TPTB may have only been able to control the populace a little bit back in the 60s and 70s, now they have all sorts of ways to control you. Don't fool yourself, the future is bleak, most people are being controlled and couldn't think an independent thought it their lives depended on it.

I'd like to make a couple points here...
first, bush was the one bailing out the banks first, obama just decided to keep on giving!!
second, the tsa was formed on bush's watch, obama just decided to give it more power it seems..

seems to me, there really isn't much difference between the two parties....
as far as the older generation/younger generation, think the same goes for that also...
every generation has their geniuses, their great leaders, their saints and freedom fighters, as well as their goofoffs, their idiots, their lazy good for nothings... the young have their future to look foreward to in hope, to plan for, to dream about. they come with new ideas, new ways or at least the desire to experiment with them... the old have their lives to look back on, and well, often, the experience of years gone by has produced a bit of cynicism. we went thru the time in life where we believed we could change the world, heck, my generation voted in jim carter, ya, that was all so wise, wasn't it.... but well, we new voters of the time thought he'd reveal all the gov't secrets concerning UFO's would legalize pot, and on and on....we were played, just as today's youth are being played. One thing is for sure, things will change, they always do, but Good Change is seen all too rarely.

If the younger generation makes anything better, it would be the first time in history.

Every generation passes its failings to the young. We always hope the next will do better but it has never happened. When I was younger, we were going to change the World! We did...just not in the way we expected. This is how we got to this point in our existence.

Keep trying though. Sooner or later it has to get better, right?

Our National Debt was 7 Trillion while Bush was in office.
Within the 1st YEAR of Obama's presidency, our National debt was increased to 14 Trillion.

so you are saying that Obama doubled the national debt huh?

well let me clarify something for you..
the debt was at 5.6 trillion when Bush took office..
it was over 10 trillion when Obama took over..

James1982, just trying to clarify who you were directing your post to. It said "reply to My01Exploder", so I wanted to make sure. My post was pretty apparent in regards to Osama er....I mean.....Obama.

Let's get this straight. I'm a 26 year old male who has fought for my country. I'm going to make you "rethink" your personal opinion on this "younger generation".

1) Bloods and Krypts were definitely not started by my generation. My generation was only taught of how to become one by, wait for it, OLDER GENERATIONS.
2) No one in my generation has made the ultimate decision to put our economy into further debt.
3) According to National Statistics, most wellfare and food stamp recipients are between the ages of 38-62, again, not my generation.
4) Afghanistan and Iraq.......again, my generation didn't put us there. My generation was shipped there and given orders to fight.
5) Last time I checked, Bernie Madoff wasn't in my generation, further proof that both generations have theives, his generation was only more skilled in thievery.
6) Atom bombs, oh yeah, not my generation.
7) '___', PCP, Methanphetimines, again not my generation, you can thank your hippies for those.
8) Sexual Crimes, oh wait thats right, I'm seeing more 50+ aged men molesting children, especially priests.
9) Deadbeat dads, according to statistics, more in the 35-40 age range. Thats right, more women are spiteful in this generation and have years of experience to obtain their money. Prove me wrong.
10) Obama. From 7 trillion to 14 trillion in one year. My generation may blow our money on sports cars and women, Obama is not from my generation and his habits prove negligent spending.

I could go on for days, but I would like to see more 20-30 year olds responsed to this guys obsolete findings.

If you guys care so much about our country, why don't you guys just do this:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

When government stops serving it's purpose, it is up to the people abolish it. So instead of bitching about how bad my generation is, you all should start planning or something, idk. Have fun! Oh, and you guys should move quickly because soon too many Americans will be dependent on the government and they won't support you.

"we are bringing the troops home slowly but surly"

It may be a typo, but you may be on to something there, especially with the current unemployment rate.

Thanks to the younger generation, this world is doomed.

Why? care to expand?

Is the younger generation the ones that set up the welfare/warfare state?

We are ones that pay social security that will never receive it.

We are the ones that fight in the wars.

We are the ones waking up to see through all the lies.

We are the base that motivates the truth tellers such as Ron Paul.

I have been on this earth for 20 years but somehow have doomed it?

Maybe the older generations should take some responsibility in where our world is today.

The young people started the Arab spring revolutions, just as the young people are starting the second American revolution.

yeah the national deficit was around 6 trillion dollars and lets not forget clintons budget surplus was stolen straight from social security.

yes the fact remains the national deficit was 10 trillion when bush left and obama took over.

the fact obama has spend over 4 trillion under his 2 years and his term isnt over yet

another fact bush increased the debt celing which is what obama will do to spend more of what he doesnt have and more of what we do not have.

you think spending is a problem now wait another 6 years of obama and the increase in spending.

and here lies the problems of america all people can do is play the blame game.

its more like stupid is as stupid does which is why there is no hope or future for this country.

this nations problems have been decades in the making .

Do you really think that the generation today "created" all the stuff going on? Some of the responses on this post show a complete lack of knowledge in history and politics. One day, the younger generation will take over the reins and have to deal with circumstances that existed before they took over.

The younger generation below them will bemoan what a mess they have made of things, and how, if only, they were in charge, things would be different. Life is complicated and the world is not black and white. My generation has to deal with thing that were decided in WWI and even in the 1800s. We didn't make the decisions, nor did we condone them...but nonetheless they exist.

It's amazing when you get older and realize life is not the simple and sometimes what seems like an easy decision to make, simply will not work in the real world.

My apologies I screwed up the quotes pretty bad lol I fixed em

People thought the OP was being sarcastic. I was pointing out that, sadly, the OP is not being sarcastic and honestly believes this stuff.

The rest of my post was directed towards the OP.

Sorry for the confusion, I don't know how I messed up the quotes that bad. If you check my previous post it should make more sense now.

We have a Radio host who says he wants Obama elected another term, just so after all the damage is done, a liberal will never hold office again. I see his point, but, OUCH! it's going to hurt.

The old are naive, the young are naive, it just depends on what your talking about and from who's point of view. I don't know if I am the younger generation, or the older, I suppose that is dependant on a person's view too. My question is this then:

Who is the younger generation according to who?

The younger generation to my grandfather would be me...the younger generation for me is roaming through the cupboards right now looking for a granola bar to go with her can of coke so she can get back to facebook before all her friends get raptured (or whatever she thinks she is missing out on).

So who is who according to who...pretty ambiguous right?

"The 70's-80's generation grew up pampered, spoiled brats.. guaranteed jobs from high-school till today, high quality of living, cheap college, cheap everything. My generation is 35% unemployed and the generation behind me is over 60% unemployed, we graduate college with no jobs and more debt than any generation before us.. our outlook is bleak, and we have morons running the show with more morons taking over. "

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am trying to figure out just what generation you are referring to....
I graduated in 77, is it my generation?? let me ask you a few things here....
how much of you your wardrobe consisted of hand me downs and items bought at second hand stores? was your elementary school so run down that the ceiling in your cafeteria would end up in your lunch in the form of dust?? how about the home you lived in?? and well, the jobs were already being packed up and shipped overseas, god don't any of you young ones ever watch the 70's show?? and yes, the cost of living has risen outrageously since those days of 65 cent packs of cigs and 25 cent sodas, but well, so hasn't the expectations, that feeling of entitlement that says oh, you worked so hard for that peice of paper attesting to the fact that you are an educated fool, you deserve a hundred thousand....or more!!! and well, I got to say......weather you are talking about the young morons running the show, or the older morons running the show, more than likely, those morons are the ones my mom would call the "educated fools" college degrees, feeling entitled to hundred thousand dollar....or more!...salaries...
which should kind of tell ya what my view of the cost of college and weather it's worth the investment any longer or not....
