I find it disgraceful that people took time out of their lives to mock an old man and his beliefs but don't have the cajones to stand up to the oppressing government that has a boot on their neck.
You don't agree with him fine, I don't either but does it give you satisfaction to kick a senile old man while he is down?
I hope you'all feel all tough and stuff.
Disgraceful.

In one sense I think fair play to Harold Camping. He did what he thought was right, I don't believe there was any malice in it.
On the other hand he really put this message out there. What goes around, comes around and now it's the skeptics turn.
Ultimately it's a good lesson for folks to be a little more discerning. Just because someone talks a good talk and 100% believes what they say - don't make it so.
Backing the wrong horse may cost you dear.

No, he made himself a public figure, he took money from people he need to pay for his deeds, but taking into consideration his advance age I am sure the stress of the situation could be deadly for him.
This will teach others no to play with Innocent trusting people.

That is still no reason to harras the old geezer after his "mistake", he embarresed himself in front of the whole world, lost a lot of money in his advertising campaign and probably lost all his credibility, isn't that just enough?
People should leave him alone instead of going out to harras him, they are probably even so arrogant that they think they've got the right of doing it also, it is just extremely childish....

People that are all for making money of others have no regrets when stealing hopes.

Maybe people should "think" first instead of blindly following someone.....
"Thinking" is a rarity these days.....
