What I would really like to know is...where were these hot teachers when I went to school? My teachers were ugly Nazis. I know this is wrong, but hey!

Such a lawless and wicked generation. People in bondage to their loins... People do not realize the prisons that they are creating emotionally that go hand in had with the other freedoms that are removed daily. Children are no longer allowed to be innocent and there own parents are helping to foster these ways... clothes, computers, music, video games, movies and all the other things that rob precious innocent ways and attitudes.

What have we become in this country? What we have become we are responsible for! Each so called adult who is allowing the erosion's to occur.

As some make an excuse of early puberty as reason enough for sexual promiscuity's, regardless of how drugs in food, water and etc have altered our childrens physical maturing THEY ARE STILL C H I L D R E N my friend. These young ones should be protected from these molesters who rob morals from the young and erode their positive futures to nothing by sacrificing all for their personal lusts. The destruction of an innocence should be punishable in the most ultimate way and not condoned and those who do condone or make reasonable that which is evil are socially defective. Where is your conscience?!

The TV, Music, Movie and Gaming industry and all those who play a part in them will be held accountable one day.

There will be one who has been given to Judge those who are so lacking of a moral compass...

Slowly they chip away piece by piece of what freedoms and morals we have here with lies and deceptions. They serve one they do not realize and they disregard one who came to give true freedoms!

So many think that the term "cougar" is such a cute and sexy term. Perhaps when a woman is 45 and its a man of 35 but 15??????? Sick and twisted generation serving evil ways. Religions of self worship mired in filth and rotten to the core!

Why is all this too much for so many to understand or is it "wanting" to understand...

Oh come-on? you blame feminism? Seriously? You really think "feminism" turned women into "sexed craved drug addicts"? Good Lord. That's like saying "religion" turned all those priests into gay druggies (Ted Haggard, et al). Yeah, well, sorry to say, but this has nothing to do with feminism. or religion for that matter. And by the way, "code pink"?!, you are totally mischaracterizing feminism as if it's this monolithic movement of crazy evil women who want to destroy men, eat babies and force abortions on everyone or something. Your personal caricature of "feminism" is not feminism. You know what they say, "feminism is that radical notion that women are people too". But, whatevers, that's another conversation entirely.

Anyway, this has to do with the fact that society as a whole wants to ignore and deny the very basic and natural fact that after puberty, teenagers basically turn into giant horn-balls. People need to start acknowledging and accepting the fact that teenagers have sex. It's really very simple. The prudishness of American society with all these cries of "oh noes, the innocent childrens!"..."who has corrupted them" combined with straight up denial, only serves to create problems and make things worse. Fer crissakes, this is nature, pure and simple, humans like sex, teenagers like sex even more. What isn't natural is making "purity pledges" and "waiting 'til marriage"...and all this pressure that certain groups and people place on teens to be "pure" and "virginal"...it's all extremely counterproductive and just creates more problems and confusion for the teen. I mean, just look at the states that have the highest rates of teen pregnancy and you'll get the jist of what I'm talking about here (not to mention all the reports of teenagers having butt-sex instead because they think it still means that they will still have their virginity if it doesn't go in the regular hole - excuse my crude language, but this is true, and again, has led to all sorts of problems with std's etc.). So, It's better to acknowledge that teenagers want to, and do have sex, instead of trying to sweep it under a rock and ignore it. Being prudish about sex and denying ones natural urges just doesn't work. (just take the example of celibacy among catholic priests, or can you guess which state has the highest pornography consumption?)

Of course I still think that this teacher was wrong for having sex with her student for the sole reason that she was in a position of power and authority over her students. I've taught 3rd grade and I just couldn't imagine... the mere thought makes me want to throw up. However, once you acknowledge the fact that teenagers have sex, enjoy sex, and many actively seek it out, it's not very surprising that this sort of thing will happen once in awhile. Especially with male students, who, generally reach their sexual peak much earlier than their female peers (for men it's generally 16-20, for women late 20's early 30's)...so it really makes a lot of sense if you think about it, these female teachers all fall into that age range, along with the teenage boys. I think it's simply a matter that these women were simply more "available" and probably more "willing" than your average 16 year old teenage girl. If a teenage boy is looking to have sex, he's going to have a lot easier time with an older woman, than with one of his own age. So for the boys it was an "easy score"...and for the women, they got a horny young teenage boy with a perpetual erection (again, sorry to be crude about it)...but, it's a perfect match! Now again, I'm not excusing this sort of thing at all. I'm only saying that we should not be surprised.

So, the fact that we know this sort of thing goes on means we need to acknowledge that teens are having sex, that they are going to continue to have sex whether the parents or society as a whole approves or not. So, instead of infantilizing them and denying them their human nature, we should instead address the issue of sex and focus on educating them; showing them how to make mature informed decisions (i'm talking about comprehensive sex education, not the finger wagging "abstinence only" type). Now I don't know the situation between these boys and female teachers. Certainly a 10 year age difference is not that big a deal in the real world...and certainly it's not a big deal for 2 sexually mature people to have consensual sex. However, the problem arises because the teacher is in a position of power over the student, and so that is why I have a problem. If these were 2 unrelated people, who say, met one day at a park and just decided to hook up in the back of their car, I wouldn't have a problem...but again, it's the power dynamics of the student-teacher relationship that makes this troublesome. Honestly, I don't think that situations like this can necessarily be prevented, like I said, teenagers have sex whether we like it or not, once in awhile, one of them is going to end up having sex with an older adult, some of these older adults will end up being teachers. Still, I think this sort of thing has probably been going on for awhile. The media has definitely hyped it up a lot, but, I don't think it's a new phenomenon. So again, instead of being in denial, the best course to take would be to arm these teenagers with the tools and information they need to be able to make mature decisions and hope for the best.

I think that in cases of sexual relations between teachers and students, the problem is not the same as say, a sexual relationship with an older neighbor.

Because of the sexual politics- sex involves some subtle plays of power, and at the teen age, one is developing their social skills and comprehension of the positions and roles in society. A big part of that is learning hierachy in group organization. The sexual relations between a student and teacher confuse things and destroy their comprehension of how hierarchy works.

Totally understand how a teen could dig this and wish for it to happen- but wouldn't expect a teen thi happens to t have a full understanding of how to behave respectfully for an employer in the future, or not think they could perhaps trade sex with an employer in the place of working hard and well. I wouldn't be surprised if they place more of their focus of self esteem upon their sexual prowess or looks, instead of their scholastic performance. The authority directs the students awareness of what their valuable characteristics are.

There was a hot teacher I wanted to sleep with, and so did most my friends, when we were 16 or 17. Those feelings are common and the age of consent is legal in a number of countries, if not the majority. I don't see the big deal.

Truly, I doubt there are many boys who were traumatized by being seduced by an older female. The opposite is mostly true. A women is not penetrating a young man. More than likely, a young man will brag about it. Fact is, it's all about money in a litigious society. Man against young girl........no way. Double standards you say? Not in the least bit.

I remember a case, where a US female teacher had sex with one of her underage students. They were in love and got married shortly after she got out of the prison (he met the legal age in the meanwhile).

And there is another case I recall. A male doctor was seduced by a 17 years old 'hottie'. The 'innocent child' begun blackmailing the doctor asking for money in return for her silence. He was in love with her.

The doctor refused to pay so she told their secret. In the end, the doctor lost everything due to this relationship (job, profession, wife, etc.). The police could not build a case against her so she lost nothing. Apparently she already had a small fortune (for her age): expensive clothes, perfumes & jewelry.

Isn't the law a little outdated regarding the 'legal age'? There are a lot of very attractive underage women who are anything but innocent.

From what I understand the law is based around the idea that "abuse that will cause psychological damage" has occurred. Correct. You were somehow forced or coerced into having sex and need protection.

So why don't they have no "age of consent" and just tests for psychological damage to ascertain abuse on a case by case basis. And have heavier penalties for those truly abusing people.

That would take into account that people mature at different rates and their wants and needs are different.

To say one size fits all is like telling someone " you are 18 so you are mature enough to have sex " when in fact they may not be.

But what in the world is going on, this has always been happening but now it's happening way more.

It has always happened, I am not sure about teachers and students, but it happens.

But even school kids among each-other at least when I was in school they all got around, most had sex at about 14 years old, and not only just regular sex, but they were all into all kinds of kinky things.

Of which I cant put in writing here on ATS because it would probably break some rule or something, but if you were to name one fetish or sexual thing that people do at random of the top of you head, then you would be correct and yes even real young kids would of done that.

And you would be surprised who really got around the most, but suffice to say it usually was those you would not expect. And those you would expect. Remember those songs and gossips, that some girls and boys in school sing/gossip about and there sexual exploits... well there true.

I still remember in middle school this one dude used to sing that song about Eskimo pie being might cold. About this one girl that was from Alaska, and how he got some. Well I didn't believe him, but it turns out that it was true and that chick really got around. Though most would not even assume it of her since she seemed like the kind of girl who would not be into that kind of thing.

So ya its nothing new, it has always been going on. Just because that it was never much been in the news or in the papers. It does not mean that it hasn't always been so, the illusion of it being not so, has been stronger in the past, then today. What with technology and all, especially the internet, things are not so out of sight as they used to be.

Cant stop people from having sex, the church has been trying to oppress that little urge for thousands of years and still it has not put a dent in the primal urges of some people, and it never will. You can only suppress it, but not change it, or stop it from happening. It is what it is. Though the bulk of the sexual escapades that happen you will never hear about. And what you don't hear or see does not exist.

And if 16 years old is consenting age in the state in question, were the case in question took place, then really what is the problem? And why should people care at all? Unless there was forcing involved then it just sounds like they both got something out of it and both wanted it. If anything its nobodies problem but those involved and there families. SO Ya Whatever.

After being on this site for so many years now I'm actually surprised for once.

I mean come on, reverse the genders of the teacher student and I guarantee the posts are very different. I am not at all new to this phenomenon where the young boy and older woman is just "frowned upon" whereas the older male and younger female is considered wrong. Lets not forget there are female pedophiles too out there, hunting down their male prey.

I'm with ya on that one! My teachers looked like Loretta Lockhorn and Hagar the Horrible's wife coupled with the attitude and hygiene of Jabba the Hutt

I'd have sawn my legs off at the hips with a rusted cheese grater for a hottie like LaFave, McCallum, Geisel or McCandless and been grateful afterwards!

It's been going on forever but it takes instant world wide communications to start noticing it. If the teachers wern't good looking it would never make the news. In my time the 70's i got to know a couple of my teachers rather well and it lasted till my mid 20's and one was married. our HS super married one of my classmates a year after we graduated. It's just news filler. locally a 35 year old teacher got knocked up by a 13 year old student. She got 90 day suspended sentence and didn't have to regester as a sex offender because they didn't want to ruin her career
