I don't believe Obama has a real chance because I can't trust the medias portrayal of his chances. Unemployment figures are distorted, economic figuresare dstorted. You have folks like yourself praising the captain of the Titanic while the ship is sinking.
I guess we'll see in Nov of 2012, but I'm optimistic. We could see a Palin/Beck ticket and probably win!

I use the information that is available to me.

If something doesn't seem right, I may discount it or give it less credibility. But that doesn't mean it gives me a pass to make up different information to fit my world view.

Palin and Beck...I guess you really do want Obama to win...huh?

We will see in 2012...a lot can still happen between now and then...but right now, I like where Obama is sitting.

It is sad that racism seems to be accepted here...especially if it is against Obama.

I know for a fact that the OP has been ALERTED to the mods by multiple members...and since racism is against the T&C...you would think it would of been dealt with by now.

While he claims he wants to work together for the good of the country, he has spent the last two weeks demeaning and castigating Republicans at every chance he's gotten. But today (10-25-10) it reached a new low. He used a racially charged pejorative that no other national leaders would ever be able to get by with as far as the Elite Media is concerned. He said: "Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, "we can't have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back."

And this is how he plans to get cooperation from the victors?

That's great of you to fire back with a comment taken out of context. You can pretend all you like that Obama's CAR analogy was somehow racist and that the OP's BUS analogy was not. Are you somehow ignorant to the fact that black people used to be forced to the back of the bus?

To further point out your ironic defense, did you also fail to realize that it was the black people who were forced to drive the white people (who sat in the back). In CARS.

why he'll get re-elected, if it was a republican that knew were osama was hiding, they would have waited until 1 month before the elections to get him, leaving americans in danger for the next year and a half.

Telling a group of racially diverse people to ride in the back of a metaphorically "economy" car as part of an analogy...is no where the same as telling a black man to get to the back of the bus.

EVEN if he did say that, which he didn't, that does not give anyone a pass to use the same racist phrase. Like I said, it's like people saying they should be able to use the N word because rappers do.

And quite frankly, the middle class and the poor HAVE BEEN sitting in the back of the bus for a long time now. Can't you see it? How do we discuss Obama's chances in 2012 when your last response to me was that you don't trust anything that is positive about Obama in the media...and you sure as hell don't trust anything from Obama himself.

You tried to cherry pick the ONE poll that gave Obama a distorted large disapproval rating....so don't act like you are waiting to discuss real politics.
