Consciousness. It is who we are and what everything is and it is unity. An illusion was created. It was an illusion of separation from unity. This is our perceived reality. The purpose of this illusion is because consciousness desired to experience love.

We are living the illusion of separation as consciousness to experience love with our apparent separate parts.

All is one is consciousness. This is the ultimate truth. Ultimate....... ULTIMATE! It must be realized before unconditional love is possible. Unconditional love is our purpose. Unity is our lesson to be learned.

Your message will make perfect sense to the awakened and be nonsense to everyone else. I was right there with you when I awakened 6 months ago. Unfortunately the message will be largely ignored. I learned that people have to experience oneness for themselves.. Love them unconditionally let them see it through your deeds and not your words. Good luck my friend

All the time someone post this exact same message of the what reality really is, "An illusion, and we're all suppose to unit and sing and dance." What does this have to do with the reality we see. I'm sure you're right that this is all some metaphysical trip, but it doesn't change the fact we are living in this existence, with each other. I would atleast like to see one of these threads actually give some tips on what we need to being doing in this reality that doesn't just say, "Love everybody unconditionally all the time" Are you nuts? What's messed up is I bet you think we're the ones with our heads in the sand. Do ATS search and see this exact same message a hundred times.

I agree, there is nothing but consciousness.

Everything else is a manifestation of that consciousness.

Ok so sometimes this message seems clear to me and at other times it seems like nonsense.
I don't know if i am awakened or if I am still asleep. It's very difficult for me to stay positive and focused on the unity and feeling of love.

Sometimes i feel I know that love is the answer and that there is so much more to life. But with all the suffering and struggle we see around us it's hard for me to maintain that attitude.

Any tips or help I could really use it....thanks

I had a spiritual experience which led me to Oneness. I have believed in the concept for about a year but it didn't change my thoughts and feelings about other people. It wasn't until after I had my experience and it moved from belief to knowledge that my life changed.

If you haven't had an enlightenment experience then your actions will always be from your head. There is a huge difference from acting like you love everyone to actually loving everyone. After you experience Oneness you're actions come from your heart.

I was led to Oneness through certain naturally occurring compounds which I won't name as I have been warned for advocating them. However I took the dark side route and went the easy way. If you start a meditation practice you'll get there too, it's just going to take you longer.

Also I think Love in this context means putting others ahead of yourself. So start serving other people unconditionally and see what kind of experiences you have. Talk to strangers in the grocery store. Say good morning to people on the street. Spread love everywhere you go. Be the change you want to see.

Namaste

PS Just found this on another thread. Great stuff here

Yes. Unity breeds the reason why unconditional love is important. However, Each morning I wake up, I have to re-remember everything I knew the day before about unity. So if you don't practice seeing yourself in others everyday, this awareness will pass and will lead you into confusion in a short amount of time.

The next absolutely essential thing is service. Serve by improving the quality of life of everything around you and your quality of life will also be improved. There are many many ways to serve and service comes in different forms. That's where creativity comes in. Be creative in your service and always look for something new you can do for someone.

The best way to improve the quality of life for others is to allow them free will. Let them do whatever they want because everything wants their quality of life to be improved. Accept people for who they are and don't try to change them. Let your dog off his leash. All is you, so w/e you want in life, you gotta give to other people or animals. And plant a garden. This is a great service because not only are you growing life, you are feeding people. So plant a big one. Speak the message of truth. Tell about oneness. Experience it every day, and don't forget about it.

1ness for me was hard to except
I couldnt see were all connect

Thru time 1 prepared my spirit for battle
and couldnt realize they are me different channel

Felt aggression and anger for all none humble
and overlooked they need LOVE to overcome their struggle

Connected are we beyond any form of flesh or vessel
which only proves ALL REATIONS ARE SPECIAL

ALL all yes 1 in the same
only things different is how we say our names

You from one plane the from another
at first 1 couldnt see you were my brother

Enemy felt so prepared indeed
to war with these related seeds

1ness 1ness what really does it mean
I guess when you look at it where on the same team

some are further in development of grasping the LOVE
But its sure to reach all WHEN COMMING FROM ABOVE

So many different within the verse
seems the seperation only caused a curse

A curse a curse a constant for ALL
to know your living but can die or fall

So hopefully 1 day ALL will unite
And put down the hatred and free us of fights

Unbiased, non-religious meditation is the key to what you allude. Trying to explain it as you attempted here is like trying to explain a sexual climax to a first grader. You gotta grow into it or not....

What we need is for meditation to be taught in a very simple manner to all students. Contrary to what many, even enlightened meditators believe, a religious attachment of a God or any organization is not necessary to become enlightened. (Such may very well happen after enlightenment however, as the new person looks to work the new understanding into their daily life.)

I learned TM back in the mid-1970s and did not need any religious beliefs attached. I considered the Maharishi to be a teacher. Some of his disciples called him a holy man, but to me he was just a wise, learned man.

No offense, but I'm getting really tired of inspirational speakers telling us to be one with the universe, to be happy, to be confident...

No one wants to come out with the only idea that makes any sense, and that is 'Be human!'

We humans come jam-packed with emotions that should not be denied. We get angry. We get scared. We get greedy, jealous, depressed, stressed...

As much as I want to be one with the universe, tomorrow morning when I wake up groggy and constipated, and my four year old little darlin' shrieks at the ant chasing her, I'm going to yell, "Shut the hell up!' Why? Because I'm HUMAN, and that's what humans do.

I hope every terrorist on the planet dies a horrible death. I am petrified of the gun-toting drug dealer selling death at the end of my street. Why do I feel these things? Because I'm supposed to! I'm human.

For us to lock away any/or all of our emotions is to live a lie. It will make us ill, both mentally and physically.

Hey, be happy when you're happy. But, don't forget to be angry when you're angry. Be...?...HUMAN!

Good comments and I have to say I agree. How can you be one with the universe when there are people starving, dying of horrible diseases, sufering physically or emotionally? Life isn't all rainbows and lollipops. If we are truly human,we will be affected by these things. Sometimes we may find a semblance of peace, but it is often fleeting for there is much suffering in the world.

I agree that we are all one with the universe, but I think happiness is more important than learning and intellect. I think our purpose is unconditional happiness and not unconditional love. Find a way to be happy no matter what's going on.

Wait...so you're saying we're all little parts of ONE big consciousness, we're fragments of God? If so, what happens when we die? We'll be absorbed into the "one" and cease to exist as an individual? That sounds no good to me, it's kinda scary, actually, to think I'll cease to exist after physical death...or am I getting it wrong? One more thing...if this big consciousness broke itself into billions of little pieces in order to experience feelings, wouldn't it be "wrong" if everybody in the world just loved each other, casting all other emotions aside? Wouldn't it make the experience useless in a sense?

I'm saying we're all the awareness of infinite possibilities simulating a world of form by making itself believe that it is separate from itself so that it can have fun.

Realizing that I am you and you are me leaves unconditional love being the only logical path.

Consciousness doesn't want itself to experience pain and it doesn't want to hate itself, that is a byproduct of the illusion of separation. All is one. Knowing this, you know that what you do to an apparent illusion "someone else", you are doing to yourself because you and that person are one.

EXACTLY!!!

I think if Jesus was subject to the illusion of separation, he could not have loved unconditionally, therefore, I say Jesus knew this truth of which I speak.

Normal guy: In the Sudan, soldiers have been ordered to rape children in order to instill fear in the people. Are you happy?

Happy guy: Oh yes, I am happy all the time.

Normal guy: Your son is in prison for selling dope. Are you happy?

Happy guy: Yup! HAPPY HAPPY IS ME!

Normal guy: You have the flu, your wife left you, your house burned down, you lost your job... Are you happy?

Happy guy: I SAID I was happy, dammit? What're you, deaf?
------------------------------
Don't seek happiness. Just be true to your feelings.
