in frames 73 to 91 you can just make out the steam blowing to the right in small gusts, its a bit darker then the snow, and comes from the same place on the roof.
ive searched the rest of the site, they dont archive the webcam, so if we wait 24 hours untill the next days images and it looks the same when the lights come on, then we can be a bit more informed.

I would suggest starting with capitalization and punctuation and then just go wild from there.

As for the video, very interesting. When taken frame by frame, you can see the fire or explosion building inside until it blows out the top. Also, anyone else notice the vehicle that appears in one frame and is gone the next? Now if this is in 10 second increments, it came and went quickly. If it were a 10 minute frame rate, then the explosion inside is moving too slowly to actually be an explosion. Also, watch the date at the top. It actually goes from the 17th to the 16th as it progresses. These are just a couple of oddities to explore.

Frame 1/144 is 10 minutes after frame 144/144. Frame 1 is not the beginning.

I can't tell exactly what this is. Is it 2 different camera's? It goes from color to black & white, but also you can see a shift. So either somebody changed a setting, and moved the camera slightly, or it is 2 different cameras (which is probably more likely).

It switches back to color between these 2- 09:40 UTC (59/144). & 09:50 UTC (60/144)

Ok. It seems to have refreshed, or updated. I am not sure yet, what all has changed, but I am still going to post this anyways.

no whining just trying to push people into making better threads. and no one helped me learn to do it. and actually there are threads that explain how to do these things.

also, to make a gif is not very hard. they have programs for that. Hell they even have websites for that.

What I see is a steam plume in front of a sodium light. The brightest part of the "fire" is directly in front of the light source, outwardly dimming to each side of it, A flame would have a more even distribution of brightness.

I could be wrong, but that's what I make of it.

I happen to agree. I think those are plumes of steam we are seeing in front of the light. Wouldn't flames be shaped, well, like flames (pointier) and not plumes of smoke?

I suppose I thought I could gently point you towards the hypocrisy you were exhibiting, I was wrong. So, if I understand you right, there could have been a lot more work put into the post by the OP. I will agree with that, but then you turn around and say you don't have the time to waste working on grammar and punctuation for a lowly conspiracy website. Perhaps the OP feels the same. Or, perhaps you should stop holding others to a higher standard than you hold yourself. Now, I do not use perfect grammar, but I try to at least make my posts readable. Here is some information on what goes on at this particular station:

Neumayer-Station III, also known as Neumayer III after geophysicist Georg von Neumayer, is a German South pole research station of the Alfred-Wegener-Institut in the Antarctic. It is located on the approximately 200-meter thick Ekstrom Ice Shelf several kilometers south of Neumayer-Station II.[1] The station's assembly kit was transported to its current position beginning of November 2007. It is moving with the shelf ice at about 200 meters per year towards the open sea.[2]

It depends on the type of fire. If it was a gas fire it would look very much like the steam in the picture. So I understand the confusion.

After better examining the picture, I'd be willing to put money on my interpretation of it.

The shadows cast on the foreground are the clincher. They are way too soft for them to be cast by a direct light source. They would be much sharper if they were being cast by a flame. The steam is acting as a diffuser to the sodium light, giving them a very soft edge.

I totally see why the OP suggested a link to the transformer blow outs that happened on the 15th and 16th- as we've been able to determine they happened in many parts of the globe. Why include countries on opposite sides of the world and eliminate examination of Antartica?

Agreed alot of people are not all that computer savy.. I for instance just found out how to link articles and embed videos just a couple weeks ago. Like you said, theres no need to insult the OP just because he/she posted the story before and the poster didn't like the way it was setup. Not everybody is on the computer daily...or even weekly. I don't know what it means, i'm not in there base, so i can't explain what it is. Indirectly, i said it in the opening. What can I do for improving the description ? Sincerley, nothing, you see with your eyes, you don't need explanations for that.

So, please, i cannot invent a story of this. Well, in the past, I wrotten a lot. But here, there are not explanations of that. No sites are reporting it too.

Please theres no need to talk like that. I could call you a nerdy computer geek who is too concerned about how the thread looks than the what the thread is actually about. If you want to improve or help the OP out then tell him how to do it. I agree the Op was short but theres no need to insult them and then insult another poster who tried to teach you some manners by saying if it were up to them we'd be cavemen.
