Do THEY want us to watch this NG TV show?

Watched it and guffawed loudly when they, in effect, reprised the ending to the first series of V from the 80s.

had some interesting parts to it however, it was very , dare I say it ,dated in its' focus and plot, relying wholly too much on shock and awe etc, big guns blah blah you know the picture, been done a hundred times.

One of the problems is that, they always assign wholly human motivations for the appearance of aliens and them seeking to dominate and conquer. Just for once it would interesting for someone to assign something wholly more arcane to their reason for being here which addresses the actual duality of many UFO experiences. That is, not actually knowing or understanding their motivation for visiting, and therefore, not knowing whether it is contact or an invasion yet having some positive unassailable evidence as to their presence.
