And apparently you also don't believe any other amateur astronomer who confirms that Elenin is not a threat to earth. Seriously, when you start "seeing signs" in the names of amateur astronomers and disregard anything they actually have to say, perhaps it's time to re-evaluate your world view.

Should the comet come and go as predicted by nasa with no real consequence...no deep impact type event, no alien invasion, just a comet passing somewhat close....

will you admit your wrong?

Or are you still blinded by the fact that this whole comet thing is a collection of bs lies and bad information that only recently started building up in the past few months because some nut heads saw the graph of Comet Elenin's path and thought it looked like it was going to smash into earth. Omfg it's Nibiru run. Oh look a weird formation behind the comet (most likely a large fleet of aliens coming to take over earth)
This thing is gonna pass by us and be gone.
Then there will be some other bs news reporting a new "Nibiru" because magically Nibiru is no longer coming in 2012 and making a early approach.

Well, I am not predicting anything...I am accepting nasa's claims of it coming close, but I am also keeping an eye on any developing story that would counter that claim..looking at their facts
beyond some coincidences in names, I have yet to see any evidence countering nasa's claims by anyone with astronomy knowledge...sorry, but religious people demanding we are doomed because the simpsons did it (hollywood had a movie similar to the circumstances) with no actual caclulations to show for it is not evidence...its just a bit of paranoia mixed with pattern recognition.

So, I don't have to say I am wrong...same way that if the weatherman says it will be sunny tomorrow and I accept that, I am not wrong if it rains...the weatherman is.

in knowing that you were wrong, will you then be more skeptical about the next ELE someone claims, or will you beat the drums equally as loud?

See, we can all be wrong about things now and then, thats life. its one thing though to be wrong and learn from it, its another to be wrong, learn nothing, and keep the same pattern of promoting doom for the simple sake of promoting doom and misinformation.

Hopefully this is a learning moment for many not to side with conspiracy over evidence...but it rarely is. The irony is that a conspiracy theorist focuses on becoming aware, and so ends up supporting far more disinfo than actual info.

Dude the card is fake, he is seriously wearing the same shirt in his ID card pic, as he is in the interview...just on the interview he added a jacket to cover up the shirt. compare his blue polo in the ID and the interview pictures..same shirt!

It's amazing what a few pounds and a beard can do to totally change your look.
Even in a matter of weeks or months.
Look at pictures of Johnny Depp, the guys a chameleon without even really trying, gain/lose a few pounds, grow a beard, shave...

Whatever Professor Elenin might think does not matter. He is just as idiotic as are the rest of humanity around him. My self included ofcourse. What really struck home to me about COMET ELENIN is that at each of its previous three alignments with Earth and Sun it has caused major earthquake damage. The Chile earthquake on 27 February 2010 then the New Zealand earthquake on 22 February 2011 and then the mega earthquake in Japan on 11 March 2011. At that time of alignments the COMET ELENIN was still far off in the outer solar system.

At the following dates we will be much nearer to COMET ELENIN and must get ready now for the further earthquakes that are surely to take place for the very same reasons why they occurred already at previous alignments. Alignment on 26/27 September 2011. Then the close pass by on 16/17 October 2011. Then on 5 November 2011 we will likely catch the debris that follows in the path of comets. Then there will be another alignment on 23 November 2011.

These dates have been calculated by all the mathematicians. They are fully accurate. Why doubt them ? The important thing to understand is that at each of its previous three alignments COMET ELENIN has already caused serious destruction. Why doubt that the next series of alignments will be any less destructive ?

One more point before I disappear, is in that should it be that the next alignments do not cause serious earthquakes, then one must conclude, based on that evidence, that the object that did cause those earthquakes has still not yet entered our solar system, and that that object is out there in the direction of the constellation of Leo.

One factor which is very ominous about COMET ELENIN is in the fact that it is moving far too slowly to be a mere comet and that it is moving in the plane of the ecliptic. Comets do not move in the plane of the ecliptic. Comets are usually every where except the plane of the ecliptic and usually move at far greater speed.

Persons who insist that COMET ELENIN is a mere 6 kilometers diameter are ignoring the observation made by Professor Elenin when he stated that Comet Elenin is 80,000 kilometers diameter.

April 8th at our observatory we carried out planned observations of Comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin). An analysis of the results of the observations shows a rapid growth of the coma. Besides the internal compact gas envelope, the forming rarified external coma is also visible in the image. It’s diameter exceeds 1 minute of arc, or 80,000 km! It is possible that such a rapid growth of the coma is associated with the apparent superposition over it of the comet’s dust tail, which after opposition, still remains invisible to the Earthly observer.

A planetary type object of 80,000 kilometers diameter would certainly be able to cause earthquakes. However, [based on the presupposition that Comet Elenin is merely a traditional comet object and that thus the measured 80,000 kilometers must be the cometary coma] since some insist that Comet Elenin is a mere 6 kilometers diameter all that I can say to such is that Comet Elenin therefore must be a "Collapsed Star" object perhaps even a "Neutron Star" ? Such a thing is not impossible nor even unlikely. The gravity of a traditional comet would never be anywhere near sufficient to cause earthquakes. Thus from all the evidences we deduce that Comet Elenin is not a traditional comet.

Ever hear of the word coincidence? It's very possible. He's wearing the same shirt so it's automatically fake? What if I one day I happen to be wearing my black puma top and then somewhere in the future I happen to be in a interview wearing the same top? Does that make it fake?

at this poitn if leonid elenin is a hired personality, that's what he is - so nothing about the photos will not match up. but if there's evidence his id is fake or any other aspect about his identity, that's revealing


i doubt we'll find that, but i encourage anyone who's suspicious to go that route

keep in mind one of elenin's fb friends sent me a photo of elenin with his daughter. i don't feel comfortable sharing it as it's not a public photo. but it looks like him.

Wait you mean not everything on ATS is true?! Am I convinced that we will suffer some catastrophe as a result NO. I didn't make up the stuff about his name or what it means. That is what those words CAN mean. This is a conspiracy site remember? I'm allowed to speculate. How do you know I'm not already careful? This isn't my first account, I've been visiting ATS for years. I learned very quickly about how wrong ATS usually is. Oh well if I turn out to be wrong...this is a conspiracy website so it wouldn't be the first time someone was wrong.... Step off your high horse.

yeah, he is telling the truth as he has on his blogs.

its slightly amusing how many people think they know better than the man who discovered and named his own comet, because they were inspired by some 5 minute youtube video with false information and wild accusations.

if he had the choice, i wonder if he'd of opted out reporting this comet, sure its given him fame and perhaps some revenue, but the bullcrap which people generate to wash out official information must be very frustrating.
