Also those senseless things you talk about don't add up to that much time. actually only seconds in each shot. Don't you see the humor and importance in the guy eating and peeing in a documentary reality show style movie? Besides, the film might not flow as well if its edited down and rushed. How do we know?

I would wager those senseless things add up to quite alot, and anyway it's subjective. I like the guy as well, however, I also like many of my friends, who have grown accustomed to telling everyone every meaningless activity they engage in throughout the day on facebook, and I find that annoying as well. It's indicative of a modern trend of excessive self-importance that I also find disturbing. In a not too subtle way, it's insulting to the viewer. I can see the humor (though not the importance) but like any joke it wears thin the tenth time you tell it. And positively annoying the twentieth.

However, I personally take it as a challenge, just like the micro-second subliminals, that since windows media player doesn't have frame by frame capability require me to pause (often after dozens of tries) in order to read. I've read them all, (I never let a subliminal go without checking it out) making a four hour movie experience more like a five hour interactive chore. You may get my point, which is that the majority of people are neither bored, interested, or stubbornly challenged enough to trudge through this. Which is a fault, if the idea is to get a message across to a large audience. Even a reasonably decent sized audience.

And that 9/11 footage at the very beginning of file 3 sounds exactly like the real plane strike audio from Far 9/11, which means this guy put the video of the plane strike to the real audio and I've never seen that before anywhere. It's shocking especially when you hear that stewardessess last words, which I remember is also real.

Agreed. That was strikingly emotive. I also enjoy many of the musical choices, and film bits he's chosen. Nonetheless, one could edit this movie quite alot and lose nothing. What would be gained? Many, many people who wouldn't sit through it otherwise; a more cogent narrative flow; and the sense that one's time isn't being undervalued by the filmmaker.

Just my two cents, in case the filmmaker reads this, I hope these criticisms are helpful in any future projects.

On to part four!

YEah definitely not for everyone. From reading the main page and seeing the movie twice now, I can see what the producer is trying to do. I don't think it will work though because americans will lose their ability to send something viral by the time they figure out that every last drop of wealth has been stolen from them or by the time we are knee deep in wwiii. That's the irony. Americans will lose their internet connections and smart phones by the time they figure out it was all a ponzi scheme or that wwiii was just a grand illusion.

I've got a BIG problem with the ending micro-frames where the 'alien' claims to have intentionally let their 'disks' fall into the governments hands in order to speed up our technology from tubes to transistors and eventually the 'chip' in order to track all transactions, so cops can't sell meth.
Can I have the 4+ hours of my life back, please. No...I guess not.

Disinfo, schzito-confusion, whatever...

Yeah, that's a plan, let's track all transactions. Nothing scary about that world. No chance of function creep there, huh?

Thanks aliens! You're the best...

All sarcasm aside, give this one a pass, I'd say, and you're all very welcome for the tedious work involved with watching this beast.

If Anonymous truly does endorse this 'film' I can't help but take them a little less seriously...

I've lurked since '06, and this film got me to finally register. It takes a lot of effort, and...nards, to do what he did and make a movie like this.

I'm sure it has been edited already; what he's showing to us is exactly what he wants us to see. It's a home movie more or less, don't forget. The hygene scenes to me became repetetive after a while but i think he's just trying to get us more absorbed into it. Or maybe he's trying to hint to us how the masses have all been ushered into going through the same repetitve tasks every day without thinking about it, questioning it, or speaking out towards the ones that have herded us into it. He could have easily left those parts out.

Every little detail in the film seems to be carefully planned and the more you analyze and interpret, the more weight the "filler" scenes hold. The more attention you put into it the more you'll get out of it. That being said, it's much easier to do so when you have similar interests as the filmmaker.
I enjoyed it a lot but it's not for everyone obviously. So just listen to yourself when it comes down to it, and take in whatever rings true to you.

Hiya Chip, and welcome to ats.

Am I right? Don't tell me. Anonymity is important here.

I did enjoy a good two hours of your film. (Or someone's else's film, sure...)

But Madonna spanking: important and meaningful...let's not kid a kidder.

All in all though, nards is right, buddy.

Thanks for the welcome!

haha its not me though i assure you, though i too commend anonimty. just a fan.
He did have a profile and make a thread to promote the movie but it got zero attention (found it while researching the movie):

www.abovetopsecret.com...

i went as far to email him about this thread so i guess we'll see if he's still around. hopefully he still looks at it.

I'll point out that i had a lot of trouble downloading this too. My connection was getting 'cut off by remote server'...hm. and i couldn't get anywhere on the net. My task manager wouldn't even open and gave me some error i've never gotten before in my life. i dont remember what it said though..I reset my comp and that particular error was gone but everytime I went to his site or resumed the download my connection would get screwy. If i reset opera it would work for a little. I must've reset it 10 times. Not trying to freak out over this so i'll just assume it's a bandwith issue even though it killed my entire connection. If you're gonna get this i recommend torrent. and clear your tracks!

maybe that's one of the many flaws of anonymity though, you thought i was him didn't you? You should be extra careful when dealing with anything anonymous because nothing is as it seems. yeah thats the net

edit: the "needs a spanking" parts made me laugh ill admit it. some unexpected comic relief

Its interesting that I still get a perfect connection and download of any of the files in 12 min or less and at least 700k per sec. Everyone should remember that some internet service providers are deliberately slowing connections on large file downloads or cutting them off.

I also sent an email to the producer and he told me he sees this thread but his connection is blocked. Here's the message he gave me for repost.

Hello ATS. The mods took away my posting privileges last week because I tried to get people here to help me with this viral project. It didn't matter though because Anonymous took it up for me. And THAT doesn't matter because the movie didn't and will probably never go viral. I just like to throw it out there every now and then, test the waters, and see if Americans are fed up yet. (Pardon the "Fed" pun
) Maybe after a US city is nuked to start WWIII or hyperinflation kicks in, people will feel different. But by then it will be too late because the internet will be controlled (in the nuke scenario) or everyone will be broke and without internet connections. (In the hyperinflation scenario) So in the end, the Egyptians will be a wiser people than Americans. And there's nothing malicious in the web page code in the index.htm file. Anyone can "View page source" or download the index.htm file and see for themselves. Also every time I try this project, "Bandwidth Burning Robots" attack my site and simultaneously download hundreds of the movie files at once and from the same IP addresses. Most of those IP's are in China. Network Solutions has confirmed this in the past and now, and says that the multiple IP's really are downloading the entire file/files dozens of times each. (They aren't just being "Hit") This doesn't mean there's anything special about ME. It's anything anti-Bush that receives this kind of psychophant attack, just as Google and YouTube have always censored Anti-Bush videos and none of them have ever gone viral. Peace Out and Blame Bush. - Edward Slayton

While I can understand the site's reluctance to let ats become a spam factory, I would think there could be some sort of exemption for these sorts of individuals' promotion of their projects. Its not like ats doesn't allow promotion when it serves a greater purpose that THEY recognize as important. Heck, it could even be argued that every time someone posts a Fox news vid, ats has unwittingly promoted Fox news. Really now, banning this dude is just wrong.

I, for one, would love to discuss the film with the filmmaker. A true shame that I can't.

Hopefully when/if his posting privileges are back he'll join the discussion. I'm sure this guy has more things to say. They could have just gave him a warning...
If i were him though, i'd want to lay low considering some of the things he shows us how to do.

He really doesn't strike me as the "lay-low" type. But in the spirit of his possible eventual return to ats, I have a few questions; feel free to answer them yourself, if you feel you have a plausible answer.

1. What does he mean by being "protected by a time-loop"?

2. Knowing that many of the characteristics of this conspiracy share features with common paranoid schizophrenia and indeed, use, and in some cases create schizophrenics, how can one differentiate between genuinely "sane" paranoia and delusional thinking? (just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after you--but it does mean it can be difficult to tell which is happening in a given instance)

3. Is there a good reason for being less than entirely candid in spelling out the features of the conspiracy and merely hinting at them in the film, and is that a function of having these aspects occur to him during filming, as he sort of implied in the final sequence?

4. Does he consider himself (for whatever reason) in the direct line of succession of Merovingian Kings? (again implied in several places, but never overtly stated)

5. Upon reflection has he ever considered a more precise editing job, and re-release of the film?

6. Does Madonna really need a spanking at her rather advanced age? ( I could certainly see that in 1985, but now, I would personally pass)

Thanks!

You probably already know your personal answers to these questions..Number six is a no-brainer though. Maybe he's waiting for this to go viral, for lack of a better term. If we're not already today at the point where this can happen, then I don't know how much longer it will take. Anon. inc, I don't really see them doing much for his or anyone's cause but that's a different issue (a romantic one). Most people even the ones on here won't give the four hours or the effort to pick out everything he sneak tips us and editing would fix that a little, but something tells me it came out just how he wanted it to. I would like to see a series of videos from him that focuses on single issues at a time. I see no point in trying to psychoanalyze the guy; just like anyone else i wouldn't buy into every single thing he says. I will just wait on it, maybe he has more for us. His email is available, ask him yourself privately.
