Can you point out the time where you see aviation lights?

I did not know planes could not move while being in the sky.

They can appear to be stationary when they are coming toward the viewer .
Open your eyes people ... do some research .
There are many airports around the Lake Eerie area ... check google maps

What does an airport have to do with anything? Did you watch the video?

I gave you the benefit of the doubt and looked at 3:49 and 5:09. I stopped there because CLEARLY it is way to far to be able to see any aviation lights over the intense brightness. I think you are seeing what you want to see.
As for the stationary illusion, a little math shows a plane traveling 300 kms/hr in 20 minutes would be 15km out. Yet the intensity of the light remains the same.
So here we go with the usual tried techniques to debunk a stationary light. A plane coming in for a landing but yet "WE" can see the aviation lights from 15 kms away?

Originally posted by healthyscepticYour video simply shows point light sources. The appearance of the dark edges is simply a common artifact of cheap video cameras (actually it's a sensor readout problem combined with compression articfacts). The very same effect is visible as a dark 'halo' around the aeroplane you showed after.edit on 12-5-2011 by healthysceptic because: dam speeling mishtakes
