Just wanted to say OP,

That is how you make a thread.

I applaud your effort, no matter the outcome of the 13th to 15th.

Glad to see a thread with actual substance and research and depth.

Well hope that you are wrong, sounds like a bad time for all.

But as a side note, i always laugh at people who read the bible and take all these things from it and write out entire quotes, because they don't even read into one of the main points, it's always looked over...
Those of the land of ISRAEL are the children of god....
which means that it is a religion for those FROM THERE,
if you are not from there you are just another piece of junk.

It doesn't say all the people of the earth are the chosen people, just the children of israel.

or skip that part, i don't care really, just bored lookng at science posts when i saw this.

Sorry to burst your bubble but Psalms isn't a book of predictions like Revelations it was a book of songs so this is false all of what you have proposed no matter how well it was constructed.

Clearly you have not read the book, songs can be about anything anyways.

Just another Christian who claims to have read his bible "end to end, and more than once" !?

No one is saying that the whole book of Psalms are prohpecies but there are many prophecies within it, evidently you have not read much of Psalms, try chapter 22 for example, who is this song/prophecy fortelling of ?

Pretty good except Jacob is an Israelite and not a jew.

Yes you are right, but I choose to use the term Jew because the average person reading this would not even know what i was talking about if i had used Israelite

It's not a type of "chosen" that I would want.

That's mostly because Yahweh is a prick.

Seriously - if you don't have anything useful or tactful or meaningful to say - why say anything at all?

Romans 9:6: "Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel"

Galatians 3:26-29: "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

And even Jesus Himself said in the book of Mark:

Mark 12:1-12, "And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty. And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled. And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some. Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard. What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way."

Romans 2:28-29: "28For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh. 29But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Acts 13:45-46 "45But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
46Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles."

The nation of Israel were the first to have the promise offered to them, but they constantly went astray, until their probation ended with the stoning of Stephen in the book of Acts, 3 years after Jesus was crucified (Acts 7:55-60). The nation of Israel has nothing to do with the prophecies of today. True Christians are modern-day Israel, not the nation of Israel. Common sense would tell anyone that nobody can be the chosen people of God when they openly deny that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Messiah, the Savior of the world.

Excellently put!

I agree - well done OP! You did some great research here and put in some hard work. Only time will tell how this turns out in the next couple days. But your thread is good!

And boo to the people who have nothing creative or meaningful to say in response to this thread.

Agree totally. Good research. We'll see how this turns out but I have seen other Psalms that are prophetic...........
...if I were ARAB I would NOT attack Israel, but strong delusion will occur to glorify G__ __.
NO one can stand against Israel........God is there protector...........accept it.

Are you going to TRY to refute anything or just make fool of yourself by trying to insult me?

By the way. God inspired man in the writing of the Torah.

I will give you one word for proof. Research it well and come back to debate me when you have found it.

The word is "pig."

Well so far nothing yet.

As i said in an earlier post, about 2 days ago. Lets wait and see.

But i predict that nothing is going to happen.

And then what? Would this proof to you that a supposedly "prophecy" in the bible might be wrong?

Or will some other passage in the bible just be taken completely out of context, and twisted into some prediciton.?

Personally I am looking but if nothing happens then big deal. Just not the time for it right now. There's been tensions, skirmishes and wars there for years so, and a lot of saber rattling and threats.

Sunday the 15th.

Still nothing, I honestly hope, that if this event does not take place, that the OP will at least apologize for his wrong prediction and fear mongering.

I feel that is the least he can do.
