Eruptions have resumed at Mt Etna volcano, Italy. Seismic activity began at the volcano on 5th May when 170 earthquakes were recorded in 3 days under the NW flank, 6 km SE of Maletto. The earthquakes had a focus depth of 20-30 km. The largest earthquake occurred on 6th May with a magnitude 4.0, and was felt in the region around Etna. The earthquakes were located in the same area as previously in December 2009 and July 2010. Strombolian eruptions occurred at the pit crater on the eastern flank of SE crater on the morning of 8th May 2011. Loud explosions were heard several kilometres away in the towns of Monti Sartorius, and Zafferana Etnea. Strombolian eruptions occurred at an interval of 3-10 minutes and ejected incandescent lava tens of metres above the crater. Eruptions continued throughout the night of the 8 May and were continuing on the morning of the 9th May.

upon further review ETNA blows quite frequently...January 2011, march 2011, Now in May, and it started a few days ago, may 4th to be exact. Possibly a hoax prediction created here knowing that ETNA blows her lid every 2 months or so, making an event quite easy to predict!

Haven't seen this on the news yet but looked it up and Wikipedia states it is by far the largest of the three active volcanoes in Italy. Since not on the news I assume no damage? But it is odd on the same day as the earthquakes. Or maybe not..... I don't know anymore..... but my instinct still feels like "stuff" is just gonna get worse within next few weeks if not next few days.

Spain's surprise earthquakes were deadly shallow

The two earthquakes in Spain Wednesday that killed several people and caused significant damage struck an area with a tame seismic history. Their shallow point of origin contributed to the deaths and destruction.
The quakes ripped masonry and bricks from buildings, according to the Associated Press.

Footage of the quake broadcast on a Spanish news channel shows a church tower falling to rubble and bricks crashing onto cars on the street below. The earthquakes appear to have wrought outsize destruction for their relatively low magnitude, a fact that could be due to a prevalence of older buildings in the region.
Bellini said an earthquake of a magnitude 6.5 in Tokyo, a city with strict earthquake codes, built to withstand powerful shaking, would likely cause very little damage. But in a place like this area of Spain, where earthquakes are less anticipated, buildings are less likely to be earthquake-resistant.

"Really the construction of the buildings is what contributes to the potential for there to be damage," Bellini said.

The region of coastal Spain where the earthquakes struck does have a history of seismic activity, albeit a fairly tame one. Since 1976, the USGS has recorded more than half a dozen earthquakes in the area with a magnitude of 5 or greater.

"It's not a very active region, but they do get earthquakes form time to time, so it's not a surprising event," Bellini said. "They just don't happen as frequently as they do in other regions."

The canary islands. Theres an Island with two volcanos on it. One active, the other dormant. The active one is cracking in half due to chambers (caverns) in the volcano that fill with rain water over the years. When it erupts, the resulting heat heats the water, making it expand, and also expanding the crack. Eventually it is predicted to crack severely enough to cause a large portion of the mountain to slide into the ocean, possible (or probably) creating a mega-tsunami. And the best part? Its aimed directly at the US east coast.

Sorry to disappoint those that want the world to end and have their predictions come true. It is now May 12th and as always life has not ended yet, or at least I don't know it has. Maybe I was whisked away by some alien before it all happened.
If you all would spend more time fighting against this NWO then pretending to know when that last day on earth will be, maybe we can win this battle. But, I see you all would rather die in some solar storm or a 10.0 quake.

Your talking about the Canary Islands. Should an earthquake or eruption trigger an underwater landslide, which is probable, then the resulting water displacement would send an enormous Tsunami racing towards the Eastern Seaboard of the USA.

And to other people, sure there were some earthquakes in Spain, but remember that this expected Rome destroying earthquake is "the big one" predicted (specifically for Rome) back in 1915. I cant see how we're expected to believe this 100 year old prediction was for those smaller ones, somewhere else, in another country. It really smacks of desperation, to fit anything at all as a prediction "hit".

To be fair, this guy was two days off predicting an earthquake a year ahead. This earthquake is almost a hundred years after his prediction so I would expect the date to be pretty far off. Don't the Christians think the end times will be the 21st? Lets focus our effort there and then when the world doesn't end we'll shift the date back another ten days, etc etc etc

Actual outcome : Rome still standing, no earthquake.
