For the record, OBL was not wanted in connection 9/11 but the 1998 embassy bombings. He was however accredited with having given the green light to 9/11 and KSM was a member of his organisation Al’Qa’ida.

So, can I ask you why that fact alone doesn't give you reason to question what the government releases to the public since they've spent the last ten 10 years shoving bin Laden in our faces as the mastermind behind 9/11?

I also recall Castro saying Bin Laden is a CIA asset.

North Korea is ignoring it as they can not confirm the reports.

It is multiple networks that all came together under the name Al’Qa’ida for example Al’Qa’ida Organisation in the Islamic was once called the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat. They changed their name around 2006/7 after discussion with OBL’s number two, Al-Zawahiri. So Bin laden just took existing groups and merged them into one, however the groups still had operational autonomy. Other terrorist groups in the past have done this such as LTTE.

That i believe is mostly due to the neoconservatives, they have used his face as the face of terrorism to give America a clearly identifiable enemy to fight under and thus exercise their foreign policy, also it was easier for the American psyche to understand this idea of a group with a leader that they were fighting . That being said however it does not make his involvement in 9/11 a myth, KSM was a member of his organisation.

I have never said I absolutely believe the official 9/11 account, I do question it

I have been wondering when this would happen, its just breaking now but apparently Al’Qa’ida have confirmed that Osama Bin Laden is dead. I will post more as more information becomes available. Your thoughts?

Hey kevinunknown. Good thread and I see that you found an article that tells us that the terrorist organization itself has confirmed this for everyone. Well, you have to wonder what the bigger picture is or if there is even a bigger picture.

Below are the crowds outside the whitehouse and their reaction. Below that is an Al’Qa’ida group showing their reaction.

How predictable was that? It seems to me that someone purposely stoked the coals you know what I mean? Here both groups are left without an ounce of evidence to support their rantings isn't that funny?

Wouldn't it be funny if this official story never happened and both sides are left to tear each others throats out over a fairy tale supported by an ageless religion on both sides that condemn killing in the first place? How predictable is that?

It could just be the way it’s been translated and the alterations that have been made. Or it could be, and I am quite open to the idea, that they took him alive and have him in a black site with electrodes attached to his chest. But if that were the case, would they not have posted that he was alive and taken alive therefore It would bring me back to this be a issue with the translation. Still interesting though.

Yes, you're right, it could be the way it is translated, which would mean that a government contracted website is telling us information off of a website which they won't give the link to as well as mistranslating the arabic in a way that conflicts with known intelligence. So, once again this information is not trustworthy without some type of link.

Man... I swear, its getting harder and harder to believe in these "boogeymen". They're looking more and more like villains out of a Saturday morning cartoon more so than a legitimate terrorists you need to fear.

I found it hard not to picture them putting their pinky at the corner of their mouth (a-la Dr Evil) after saying these gems:

They went from the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat to, Al’Qa’ida Organisation in the Islamic Murgab (AQIM). I think i am right in saying they were originally a splinter group of the GIA. Also the name meetings were in 2006 but the name officially changed in 2007 if my memory serves me right.

Well since OBL died a long time ago this shows that Al Qaeda is really an arm of the CIA and this is all a psyop on the American people. The aim being the destruction of America, it's Constitution, etc. Have fun in your coming police state, WWIII.

If the conspiracies are true then Al Qaeda isn't going to be the best evidence to back up the claim that Osama is dead.
