Well it might not be as blatant but it does appear to be a celebration when happy laughing dancing children sing this lullaby.

Origins of "Ring around the rosy" in English History Connections to the Bubonic Plague (Black Death)? The words to the Ring around the rosy children's ring game have their origin in English history . The historical period dates back to the Great Plague of London in 1665 (bubonic plague) or even before when the first outbreak of the Plague hit England in the 1300's. The symptoms of the plague included a rosy red rash in the shape of a ring on the skin (Ring around the rosy). Pockets and pouches were filled with sweet smelling herbs ( or posies) which were carried due to the belief that the disease was transmitted by bad smells. The term "Ashes Ashes" refers to the cremation of the dead bodies! The death rate was over 60% and the plague was only halted by the Great Fire of London in 1666 which killed the rats which carried the disease which was transmitting via water sources. The English version of "Ring around the rosy" replaces Ashes with (A-tishoo, A-tishoo) as violent sneezing was another symptom of the disease. I understand what you are saying. People (on either side) that celebrate death of another human being are the reason why these wars will never end. War is a terrible thing and should never be celebrated, except at the end.

It was 350 years ago......children singing it now do not know the origins.......nothing about that song relates to international terrorism or peoples reaction to it.

Your right, so sad he had to die. Its to bad we couldn't put him in rehab with Paris Hilton. Maybe then he could have been reformed and able to understand that its not cool to kill thousands of people. And maybe then he could have lived a normal life here in America, side by side with us.

So? We're not afraid of a bunch of cowards who hide in caves, blow up schools, innocent women, children and the elderly. Those aren't freedom fighters...they're cowardly terrorists.
If their god is as great as they claim, why don't they put on a uniform and stand and fight? Surely their god will protect them and ensure a victory against the infidels. But they'll never do that because they know better. They know their god isn't really "their god" and does not condone anything they've done.
