well said!

I actually found your postings to be insightful...
interesting HAARP was operating on that level...

The CoE's actions and shady dealings concerning this entire situation has been very... intriguing...

You know you can't forget who the CoE is... US ARMY...

I am not Army basher, I support our troops... they are just doing a job...

when it comes to or troops I say "Don't hate the player, hate the game"
and that is exactly what our troops are... a player... someone doing what their told...

cos in their line of work, failure to comply... isnt as simple as getting "fired"

but with that being said...

I don't trust the Brass... and you must remember that levee being blown was an ARMY operation.. one that went against the wishes of many people! Kinda sounds like police state to me...

None the less... there is something murky going on... you gotta admit that...

Thanks for the info on the NG. I had wondered what was going on with them. There is a NG post near my house and they are all over Hwy 60, but it looks like a lot of them are covering the Lake Wappapello situation.

Thanks for your account of what is going on with you. I don't think you are complaining at all! I just kind of feel like people want to know what we are seeing here. ( I have limited exposure here, i have a friend that is active on the Arkansas quake thread, and I wanted to know more about what was going on and she directed me here)

I have friends in Cape that are experiencing your situation with their basements. It's a challenge for sure! I'm fortunate that my house was built in 1895 on the farm, and they had the common sense back then to find the high spots to build. And our land around me has been laser graded with the homes in consideration. A few days I've had to leave my car at our farm headquarters and drive a tractor home, so I could get back out the next day. But that has been the limit of my inconvenience...other than our farm land has been flooded (NOT by the levee breach...and the water is going down now).

I hope that you begin to dry out some, after this nice day of weather! Be careful getting out and going to work tonight.

Glad to see you on today. How's it going up there? I don't know about you but I am exhausted. I wished they would have filmed the 2nd blow, just photos is all I've found. About to go check their facebook page and check the press conference. Water here at the house is OK, still flooding going on but some roads are opening back up south of us.

Hey sista
I thought I'd tap in here and find out what the heck was going on. They are fixing to meet about the 3rd blast...its on KFVS. I'm doing ok! Our water is receding after the glorious sunshine this morning. I worry about you guys down south after the blast. It's going to put some serious pressure at Memphis.

I am thinking that the flooding at Lake Wappapello would effect you more? Coming down the St. Francis River? I need to get a map out and brush up on my geography!

Have the quakes been quiet? I'll be keeping an eye on you, as everything starts to dry out. We need to get together. I need to get this dog shown, and it's no fun with out friends!

I marked your thread so I could read asap. The flood you mention is coming to pass. May I ask how they knew there would be this flooding?

They posted videos on facebook on their page. Yeah I'm watching the river stages, but around here have to watch the streams too it seems. Quakes have really calmed down we will see when the water levels subside what happens???? Always ready to get out at a moment's notice if needed and I can get thru. It's been a week and they are still running power, phone lines etc...and putting new poles in. Still a big mess but much better than it was. Stay safe, glad the water is going down, tell the folks hi for me.

Well, I'm not directly in the area as I'm farther north in Illinois, but do have friends down south. The NMFL does extend into Illinois, so I keep that in mind. As I posted earlier, I worked the flood of 93 and it was bad. The water was higher up north that year and I don't remember there being huge problems in the Cairo area. I wonder why they didn't consider blowing the Bird's Point levee back then?

Thanks for the vids, Freedom. Been trying to find some since I got up but hadn't run across much.

Seriously, where's the media on this crap going on? Edward Murrow is rolling in his grave.

One other concern that I have regarding all of the croplands being flooded in all of the states this year...

It's VERY reminiscent of the events that happened during the great depression with the dust bowl effect, after the droughts of that time period.

Now, we're having the opposite impact, with too MUCH water to work the land. And remember what happened to the food supply during that time period? Yeah.. think in terms like those, and you begin to realize the true problems that will be coming.

Again, not trying to fear monger, but it's important to consider what the future implications are, and take the time to prepare now while supplies are readily available. This time next year may see a different story.

I'm thinking along the same lines as you.

during the dust bowl era...
Many people still tended their own animals and crops in the US
of course in the mid-west you couldnt due to issues...

But around here my family and others like them faired pretty good,
as far as food supply went. because they never relied on food from that area...

Now its quite the opposite... People rely on grocery stores and markets for their food...

Plus on top of that... there is a greater population to feed...

Prices are going to get out of hand!

People take this advice to heart!

Again, not trying to fear monger, but it's important to consider what the future implications are, and take the time to prepare now while supplies are readily available. This time next year may see a different story.

Jomina isnt just whistling dixie there!

Rice, Beans buy in bulk, buy 20 pound bags of it!
Before the demand is too high and prices sky rocket!

If you got it, you wont need it!

I've been finding this thread really interesting but I can't seem to figure out why the MSM would want to hide this story. It is certainly being brushed aside, I've checked around and can find almost nothing, but what would make this event worth covering up with Osama's death? Maybe I've missed the point somewhere but if anyone could help me out here I'd greatly appreciate it

Whoa now!!

I was told sand boils were being caused by the Levee's by... someone on here... Freedom12, I think it was you...

I did some digging...

A sand boil is sand and water that come out onto the ground surface during an earthquake as a result of liquefaction at shallow depth

USGS Earthquake Glossary

I thought I seen online somewhere that sand boils were linked to EQ activity...

Been a lot popping up in Kentucky and around the New Madrid Region...

A Must Read on New Madrid Sand Boils!

That above link is filled with a lot of info!

The next cited piece is concerning the The New Madrid Earthquakes of 1811-12

Sand Boils The world’s largest sand boil was created by the New Madrid earthquake. It is 1.4 miles long and 136 acres in extent, located in the Boot heel of Missouri, about 8 miles west of Hayti, Missouri. Locals call it “The Beach.” Other, much smaller, sand boils are found throughout the area.

Source for Above... Check it out!

Also check out this post by mutantgenius from earlier in this thread, concerning a current sand boil
Here ya go

This next link does have information that sand boils can occur without Earthquakes
Here ya go

but yes, according to the USGS Sandboils can be EQ related...

Just wanted to put all that information out there!

I'm going to attempt to embed a video. This is of Lake Wappapello, which is flooding the west part of the Bootheel. There is even LESS MSM coverage of this. This video was yesterday, flowing over an emergency rock levee that was built less than 24 hours earlier. The dam is functioning. properly.

Ok that didn't work. Here is the actual link.

I live in northwest Indiana, and I really hope that this great flood does not happen. The country's currently in enough trouble already, and the last thing we need is the midwest flooding.
